Reviews of Premier Inn Slough

Hotel is clean and a short cab ride away from the train station. It was £15 to check in early which felt a little expensive but after a long drive we decided to pay. It would be nice if this could be a benefit for loyalty to the hotels. Unfortunately, the alarm went off in the early hours and continued for over an hour which meant that we did not get a good night’s sleep. A breakfast voucher would have been appreciated for the inconvenience.

Room cleaness average, but breakfast service is as super

No hotel amenities were available. No slippers, toothbrush, no room telephone no any single thing. The staff strictly mentioned that they couldn’t even check in a minute earlier If the check-in time was 3 pm.  No European or Chinese socket was available in the hotel (no spare one or portable available ), Had to go to a new location to buy one. The hotel staff wasn’t very friendly and straightforward. I may never gonna use any Premier Inn hotel ever again.

Lovely location, central for everything we wanted to do before taking our friends to Heathrow. Staff all very welcoming and happy to see you. Renata was very helpful in the dining room and was always happy to help. Thank you

Really nice experience right from the beginning - box of treats for the kids at reception which helped whilst checking in ! Room great, clean and comfy, food really nice, and staff were great, nothing too much trouble. Had a lovely waitress whilst there who couldn’t do enough for us. Friendly team, nice place, no issues. Thanks guys. We also stayed a couple years back and were happy- good to see it’s still the same

Second time to this hotel. Room clean and tidy. Food was fantastic. Francesco the staff member was so nice to us both. Very accommodating and funny. Good customer service.

A Premier Inn advocate, you always know what your getting. This hotel provided the expected comfortable and clean beds and the staff were friendly efficient. However extremely disappointed with the hotel, bar and Restaurant areas, having stayed in this hotel twice before. I was saddened at how tired and worn out it was, the Bar and Restaurant were uninviting, it felt like a hostel in the restaurant, the breakfast was ok, not great just ok. I hope this hotel is inline for an upgrade as the position is an ideal base for many attractions.

My family and I stayed here for a weekend away. The staff were very friendly and our booking went very well. Staff were organised, the venue was clean, dinner was delicious and breakfast was too. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Had few requests,one being a quiet room. Got that. Air con worked a treat in 30+ heat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room a little tired but clean. Beds, lovely and comfortable. Entrance is a little tricky to find, post code sent us to Sainsbury's, so make sure you put in Premier inn. Car park did get a bit full with work vans but still managed to find a spot after a day out. It's a 15 mins walk to the train station that takes you to Paddington in 15-30 mins. 2 handy supermarkets nearby.

Overall nice experience. Efficient check-in. Comfortable room and bed. Good breakfast. A few niggly poins. It would be good if the breakfast table can have a "reserved" or "taken" sign. to prevent others taking it whilst we are getting more food. Also premier Inn always fails to equate towels with number of guest. We get 1 set and always have to ask for additional towels even though it is clear it is 2 people. Overall good value though.

Hotel at Slough was a very good choice as we were spending tge day in Windsor . The station at Slough is an easy 20 minute walk . As with all the Premier inns we have used , service was good , clean and comfortable .We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner , the food quality was good and the menu had a good selection .One small niggle was there was a 2 for 1 cocktail offer , but the bar only had the ingredients for 1 cocktail (Pina Colada) .

A warm welcome at reception on check in, Sandeep was very courteous and friendly. Room had functioning AC which was excellent however the rest of our experience with this hotel was awful. Grubby bedroom/bathroom with dust on skirting boards and around carpet edges, light bulbs not working. Restaurant was disgusting, breakfast buffet each morning was like feeding time at the zoo. Food was poorly laid out, not very hot and the kitchen was beyond slow at replenishing items. Not premier inns best effort with this one sadly. Parking is also not free at £8 a night, yes this is made clear on booking but why charge? It’s just another way to get more money out of customers along with the “premium” WiFi. No need for it. Overall not a great experience, we use premier inn a lot and this is one of the worst ones we’ve stayed at.
