We had a one-night stay here so that we could visit the military cemeteries at Vauxbuin and Bucy-Le-Long. On street parking is available outside the house. We were greeted by the lady of the house who doesn't speak English but we were able to get some general directions from her using my very limited French, so that we could buy flowers for the cemetery. The B&B is in a residential neighbourhood, so a car is required to get to shops and restaurants. The room was very comfortable with a four-poster bed. Breakfast was served by the man of the house, with all guests seated at the same table (you select your preferred breakfast time the night before). Due to the location, this doesn't strike me as a suitable destination vacation, but is great for a stop-over or a quick visit.

Beautifully refurbished house! We stayed in a small self contained part of the house which was comfortable and had almost everything we needed, (it needs a full length mirror in the bedroom and a shelf in the shower!). Very nice breakfast served by delightful host. Easy walk into the town and to main attractions, parking directly outside the house. Would happily recommend!

This traditional 19th centrury townhouse has been beautifully restored and offers a delicious breakfast in a beautifully decorated dining room. The host is extremely friendly and pays attention to every detail/

super vriendelijke eigenaar en erg humoristische man die met veel smaak zijn huis heeft ingericht. Wij hadden een kamer die eigenlijk een studio was. Serveerde ons een uitgebreid ontbijt. Gaf heel veel tips om iets te bezoeken en te eten in Soissons maar ook daar buiten.

PICASSO La chambre est propre, et confortable . Le WIFI fonctionne parfaitement La salle de bain : très petite, l accès aux toilettes restreint, la porte a une ouverture limitée par la cabine de douche. La cabine de douche mériterait un nettoyage de fond,poubelle cassée, espace réduit, propreté laisse à désirer. Petit dejeuner correct, hôte prévenant. Cette chambre se situe juste devant les escaliers étroits, anciens , en bois qui grincent , la cage d'escaliers presente des traces d humidité.L entretien reste à améliorer Côté jardin : il pleuvait , nous n avons pas pu apprécier.

La PIRE EXPÉRIENCE jamais vécue…la chambre est très mal insonorisée . Lorsque j’ai (gentiment) signalé au gérant que j’entendais ses conversations et que je souhaitais me reposer, il m’a littéralement hurlé qu’il était chez lui et faisait ce qu’il voulait. Il a ensuite frappé violemment à la porte de la chambre et essayé de rentrer avec un double. Je me suis sentis en insécurité et j’ai du quitter la résidence à 21h…chambre d’hôte, c’est un métier et ce personnage violent n’en a pas la capacité . La lecture des commentaires m’apprendra qu’il est coutumier du fait. Expérience traumatisante. Avoid at all cost ! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER The manager is a violent character telling you are privileged to be hosted while I was mentioning I was disturbed by the noise of his talks in my room. He tried to get violently into my room with his key. I was asked to leave the house at 9pm. I’ve never got such a traumatic experience. Casa La Palma IS NOT A SAFE place to stay Best Western 100m is definitely a better option at same price

Magnifique maison, emplacement idéal, notre hôte fût aux petits soins. Le déjeuner copieux, varié et excellent ! Propreté de la chambre, des sanitaires et des lieux. Le lit très confortable et agréable. Je recommande vivement et espère revenir vite dans cette belle demeurre
