We booked this cottage for our first trip to Solvang for the Danish Days Festival. The festival was canceled due to Covid, but we decided to visit "Little Denmark" anyway. We stayed in the Daisy 2 cottage and it was the best part of the visit! So many good things: very clean, great location, easy parking, comfortable bed, all the amenities of home and a wonderful porch with rose garden to relax and enjoy. People walk by with their coffee and pastries and often stop to look at the cottages and take a brochure. We walked everywhere as we are so close to the bakeries, restaurants and shops. The manager David is awesome and will answer all your questions. Super highly recommend the Solvang Alisal Cottages. You will not be disappointed, I promise!!!!!

A delightful place to stay in Solvang! The cottages were newly built or remodeled, but had a cottage feel with large front porches. Everything was top of the line—the linens, the fixtures and finishes, the amenities. The owners thought of everything— a huge Danish Kringle from a local bakery, paper products, coffee. And the cottage was immaculate, which is appreciated during these covid times. It was the perfect, quiet spot to slow down, sip coffee on the porch, and enjoy the moment.
