This is a lovely pub with rooms in one of the nicest towns in Somerset. Ideal for touring - we particularly enjoyed Glastonbury, the beach at Burnham and the cider brandy farm at nearby Burrow Hill. The staff and food at the White Hart were excellent.

Fabulous customer service, I have stayed here previously a few years ago and had a wonderful time. I had booked to return shortly. Unfortunately, I had to change my booking due to some personal circumstances and Abi was exceptionally helpful to me in doing so. Thank you.

Very good value as cost included money towards evening meal. Spacious, comfortable bedroom, friendly atmosphere and quality of breakfast and evening meal was also very good. If you have mobility problems would ask for a room with walk in shower. We had shower over a very deep bath to step into which was ok for us but could be difficult for some. Would definitely return.

Dinner menu was quite limited too many vegetarian dishes. Adding till gratuities to every drink was unacceptable especially at the bar. Only hangers on wall for clothes I had to live out of my suitcase all weekend. Rooms at back have kitchen extractor nearby.

Friendly staff; comfortable and clean rooms; very nice food; central location in a beautiful town; easy to reach local attractions such as Glastonbury Tor and Lytes Cary Manor (NT).We had such a lovely stay at The White Hart and look to return later in the year.

As this was an overnight stay to meet friends in Somerton, we were happy with just a small room which was good value for money as it includes breakfast if you book directly with the hotel. For longer stays a larger room might be preferable.

Chose room (4) carefully so quiet + walk in shower & pleased with decor etc. Perfect for one person but couldn't imagine it being suitable for a couple. Roast beef was succulent, roast potatoes were great with plenty of gravy but could have done with more vegetables of fewer types plus whole meal could have been hotter. Deserts were fab as was breakfast! Young very willing staff helped with bags etc but not so good with remembering sauces, additional cutlery etc and it wasn't as if they were busy. Trying to sort bill to put through accounts as doesn't make sense plus only on return to office realised that the 'discretionary tips' had been put through without even asking me...

Fantastic stay! Our room was lovely with a huge bed great facilities for tea and coffee and a great modern looking bathroom. The products provided smelt lovely and came with everything that you would need. We also had a table booked downstairs in the pub and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a breakfast included in our stay as well and it had the choice of contential and cooked, again all delicious with fresh pastries. We will definitely be back 😁.

Wheel chair access at entrance good. Small plates lunch perfect for elderly relative. A very relaxing place to meet the other members of the extended family in the evening. Top notch breakfast. Free parking close by.
