Stayed for two nights here and really enjoyed it! The rooms were basic but clean. Quynh was amazing! She was super helpful with recommendations on where to eat and helping us plan the best route to explore the national park! Breakfast was good and filling. The banana pancakes were a highlight! The only downside about our stay was that we had booked an overnight bus to ninh binh and mentioned that we were staying in ninh binh city and not tam coc. We didn’t realize takcoc was the more touristy area with things going on. Only about half an hour before our bus arrived we had found out the bus was only stopping in tam coc not ninh binh city. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem but with the bus arriving at 4am we had pre messaged our accommodation asking to check in early (at 4am) and it had been approved. So with half an hour to go before a night bus it didn’t give us an option to find some where else. We then had to take a taxi to our accom when we arrived obviously costing us more. Would have been nice if there was more clarification about the bus!

Recommend staying here! Staff is exceptional, location is good with great view. Rooms are clean. Really enjoyed our stay! We already had some contact with the owners beforehand and they booked a tour in advance. We arrived in the middle of the night and they were really accommodating and were able to provide us with a room. Really friendly. Many thanks!

First-class environment and first-class landscape. You can swim, row and go out of the room at will, family-style, friendly, English communication is not barriers, breakfast is not rich but sufficient, three meals a day are enough, the price is very reasonable. There are a little more mosquitoes, and it can be understood. After all, it is a natural environment, and it is no problem if the door is closed. Next time I come to live here, quiet and convenient, Oxali is nearby

This place is stunning and run by the loveliest family. We arrived very early from a sleeper train and were allowed to check in to our beautiful tree top room. Our host made us breakfast and booked us a tour to see the caves that arrived 30 mins later. When we came back from our adventures we had a drink in the bar overlooking the pond before borrowing the bikes and heading into town to meet some new friends. Room’s are extremely clean and comfortable. We will definitely return and stay here again.

We absolutely loved our time here, it was the perfect location for us and the hosts were brilliant from start to finish. As such I'll put up a video on our YT channel 66tripsleft within the next month, this will have lots of footage. I was a little concerned about the location being a bit too far out from the town but it was fine, with a few little stores and restaurants within walking distance, although we liked eating at the hotel, by the pool, with a view of the river. This felt like a real homestay, it's run by a family who are always available and it's got such a lovely vibe because of this, with enquiries/drinks dealt with by Hung, meals cooked by his wife, reasonable rates for everything (food, drink, laundry). There's a couple of cycles you can borrow for free. Hung organised a scooter for us for which we paid him (150k dong/day), it was delivered to us and picked up after we left, all perfect. This enabled us to visit Paradise Cave and Dark Cave for a total 1.4million dong (£46), whereas with a tour you will be paying over 1.2 million for each person, per trip, plus having to do it all at the same time as every over tour. It meant we could arrive at Paradise Cave at 11:30 just as every coach was leaving, we had the place almost to ourselves. I've already suggested Phong Nha to a view people and I've recommend the Restful River too, for a brilliant trip. I don't really have anything negative but as others had said the only issue was the combination of westerner used to soft beds and standard firm Vietnamese (SE Asian) mattresses. If you're coming to Vietnam and spending this sort of money on a hotel then that's what you're going to get everywhere, so come prepared like we did and bring a hiker's small self-inflating airbed, works a treat!

It is ideal for moving through the natural parks and visiting the caves, they are a wonderful family we fell down there on January 21 and they were kind to invite us to the celebration with their family and friends, the facilities are like any rural hotel in the middle of nature, thanks Mrs. Hong, Mr. Hai for approaching us at 3 a.m. raining to sings to pick up the bus, a kiss to the small Linh, Anh and the always smiled trast of Nhi
