Hotel has 2 cameras in the "NUDE SAUNA AREA" and they are filming naked guests while on thair relaxing vacation. There is NO information for the guests that thay are being recorded naked and the most desturbing thing is that they allow KIDS to go into the sauna area ( family hotel)!!! It is a serious breach of privacy and against the law !!! If enyone was at the hotel from 2014 they can take legal acctions against Falkensteiner.

Hotel is renovated and very nice. Food was delicious, but sometimes a bit cold. Water in the pool is great temperature and everything was clean. All the staff is very friendly and they do everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Car park is a bit small far a hotel this size so we had to park in a garage (which is 9€/night). Hotel provides you Nassfeld +Holiday Card which is also very useful and helps you save some money. Environment of the hotel is beautiful, with lots of paths and chairlifts near by. We deffinitley recommend visiting this hotel for both an adventurous and relaxing holiday!😊

I am regular Falkensteiner customer for last 17 years and have stayed in this hotel as well as second one in resort (Carinzia) numerous times. While the property is nice, and generally staff is quite helpful I am disappointed with the following: 1) Carinzia and Sonnenalpe service level is much different - what is included in one hotel is not included in say Sonnenalpe, 2) for the positioning and price food selection at dinner mainly should be much better (here Carinzia has better offering and quality is better), 3) we had a dog with us, and while charged as normal we have not received any amenities for the dog (while in Carinzia you get a few thingies for the pet). Having stayed in both Falkensteiner hotels in the last 1 month, I must say I am seriously contemplating to start avoiding Falkensteiner hotels as I feel I am consistently getting worse service than before but am paying considerably more (this has nothing to do with overall price inflation).

Beautiful hotel and suite, delicious meals with a large variety of courses. Kids loved both the pools and the children's playhouse. Lovely places to go for hiking, and biking. I can only recommend the hotel and this area to visit. And Falkensteiner is just a synonym for quality, chilly and fancy holidays.

Stayed here for 4 nights - 2 adults and 2 kids in a family comfort room. The room was great. Only minor thing was that the soap dispenser was broken/missing and it was weird that it wasnt fixed before we got the room. Wifi was fast. Location is good and you can easily get around the area. We didnt use our car at all. Pool is nice, but quite small and busy at times. In general the food is good, but there is some misses. One example was the pasta. Multiple times it was destroyed by being undercooked. Very close to being 5/5 and we would recommend it to friends & family.

Top hotel location for us, because we ski a lot, and also very good food with great staff in restaurant all the time; after all day skiing we went to swimming pool and saunas... the staff in wellnes are very friendly and also they know their job (animations in saunas, masages,...) overall very satisfied and we will come back next year for sure

It was not a first time at this hotel, and definatally not the last one. All was just perfect - hospitality, food, accomodation and beautiful place with a great wiev. Personel waorking at the hotel were very professional and kind. All our wishes were fulfill. For sure see You at summer :)

A nice four star hotel on the top of an Italy-Austria pass. Having been to the area for skiing several times in different hotels, I find Sonnenalpe according to price/value ratio well worth visiting again. Location great, marvelous views over the Alps in the early morning lights and in the evening sunset. Ski in - ski out is another advantage. Spacious garage right below hotel. Excellent reception team, always smiling, quick, efficient and eager to please. You can basically keep eating throughout the day on full board should you feel like it. And the food offered at the buffets for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner is truly nice. Note: a bonvivant will surely miss some complimentary bubbles over the breakfast. Prosecco would do. A surprisingly good wine list in the evening for four stars. Nice and well kept rooms. Large and well equipped wellness area with friendly staff. Jacuzzi water far too cold, same for showers. Ski & boots depot is probably the only truly annoying handicap – incredibly limited spacing for two persons in a double room plus ******* locking system. I believe receptionists spend a great part of their time helping guests to open and close the lockers. Approach by all means from the Austrian side during snowfall. Italian is far more spectacular, but dangerous.
