Radisson Blu Hotel, Sopot

I rented a room with my bestie to celebrate my birthday. Neither my grl friend nor I told anyone what room we were in. The employees divulged confidential information about their guests (about us) and gave the key to the room where the two girls were sleeping to a man, who entered our room. I am horrified by what happened. The hotel manager doesn’t even try to get involved in the situation. For more than a week no one has responded to my requests. Be careful, this hotel is not safe. Сотрудники разгласили конфиденциальную информацию о своих гостях и дали ключ от номера, где спали две девушки, постороннему человеку, мужчине, который проник в номер. Я нахожусь в ужасе от случившегося. Менеджер отеля даже не пытается войти в ситуацию. Уже больше недели никто не реагирует на мои запросы. Будьте осторожны, этот отель не безопасен.

I must say that this hotel is unexpectedly good. Originally I never intended to stay in the area around Gdansk/Sopot, but due to bad weather, the ferry I rode on was delayed 6 hours and I could not find the energy to drive onward to Berlin. Therefore I booked a room at Radisson in Sopot as they seemed to have a parking. Well there, I got positively surprised by the hotel. It was so clean and on this Saturday evening, there was great live music in the lobby. The check-in was smooth and they quickly booked a table for me at the restaurant. However, they missed to notice my Premium Radisson Rewards membership, but it's fine anyhow. The food was delicious and well worth the price. The staff in the bar and the restaurant were very friendly and had very good recommendations in regards to drinks and food. The room was so clean I couldn't believe it - completely spotless. Super plus for that! The only con was guests in another room trying to "refurnish" their room, with moving chairs being heard very loudly, apart from that the sound proofing was good. Then in the morning, the breakfast was amazing. Great quality cold cuts, fruits, great bread etc. Keep this good thing going! ^^ Overall, a great stay and I might return to try out the spa too.

I spent the last June weekend at the Blue Radisson Hotel in Sopot. It is fairly new, beautifully situated hotel not far from the Baltic sea coast. Beautiful green areas and hotel gardens wonderfully landscaped with wild roses, sages with blooming ornamental garlics and grasses. The entire area around the hotel is beautifully landscaped even with green roofs over some buildings. My heart was won by the extremely rich hotel breakfasts with many regional dishes prepared by local staff from Kashubia. The hotel itself and the service is impeccable. Particularly noteworthy is the Spa Centre, a huge swimming pool, jacuzzis and saunas. In the hotel garden surrounded by fragrant wild roses, you can enjoy a jacuzzi bath in warm water and on weekends, sauna ceremonies organized in the evenings that leave unforgettable memories of this wonderful place. Beautiful holidays for me and my friends !!!

Beautiful hotel with breathtaking suites. Food is pretty good too. Been here for a company function, the hotel dealt with it pretty good. Downsides were the pretty rude, obnoxious receptionist girl, who really should go through customer service training again or perhaps have a not customer facing job and that the smashing suite had foor to ceiling windows so very early had to pull all curtains to have privacy

So a brief review. The building is modern and impeccable. Some of the people working there are rigid and arrogant and not service orientated. Radisson rewards no additional benefit even for premium members. Asked about upgrade but no reply. No possible for late checkout. The worst part is not getting a no but the way its answered. The room on first floor with odd numbers is not good as it's on the entrance to the hotel and everyone sees directly into the room as they walk past. Also window can only be opened a little bit so no escape in case of fire. The cleaning as immaculate. Spa is good but only 1 hour entrance seems greedy. Spa treatment not that good, maybe I was unlucky with my therapist but the massage was weak and finished earlier then the 50 minutes promised. No beach towels provided even if there is a beach hotel. Good playground and kids room. Excellent breakfast. Best fitness room I have seen in a hotel. Had my birthday one day after arrival and no mention even if a wrote to them before our stay.

Nice and Modern hotel, nice rooms. However, bad experiences ruined the stay. The reception called and woke us up early in the morning regarding a car which was not ours. The staff in the restaurant accused me for stealing food, although I ordered the buffet (BIG mistake, do not choose the buffet if the others on your tavle choose a la carte - communicatiom among the staff is non-existing). I will never choose this hotel again.

We’re very disappointed in this hotel… it used to be one of our favourite hotels in Poland and we have recommended it to many people. We have stayed here 3 times before as it was a great place to relax because of its facilities (swimming pools, sauna, steam room, kids club etc.) Now we regret that we are here. After our arrival we found out that you can only use the swimming pool for an hour for free. After that you’re charged per minute. We do travel a lot and have never previously been charged for the use of swimming pool in the hotel. Instead of relaxing in the pool area, you have to check the clock constantly to make sure you are not going to be charge… it’s ridiculous! I asked at reception why they have to charge? She answered that it’s because people were spending too much time relaxing around the pool without using it really… Hello! This is what people do when they book and pay for the hotel with spa facilities! My son loves to swim, and it’s very disappointing to tell him that he can’t stay longer in the water as our time is up. As a point of principle I won’t pay the additional cost. To our bigger disappointment, we have made another booking back in March for the end of August here which is non refundable. Very unfair of Radisson to not to mention before booking about charges of the use of swimming pool.

It was my 4 stay on this hotel. Love it. Very helpfull Staff, all a round , good nice food with a variety of vege choices, comfortable rooms. Nice have a swimming poo with outside jacusi Parking a lot in front of the hotel is not really the hotel one and is extra paid just from the begining
