Fantastic staff and service. Went above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Views, pool and restaurant are fantastic. Taxi is €25/30 to get to the marina but other than that super great location up in the hills!!

The location is very pretty high up but you need to take a shuttle which runs every hour and 15 minutes so not very easy. There is young lady at the front desk that does not seem to want to do her job regarding helping guests. They went into our rooms even after informing them not to do so. They do not have do not disturb signs!!!! The shuttle goes around picking up other guests without letting you know so it takes time for you to make your way to the hotel. Breakfast was good but waiting for coffee was not! They only give you one card to open the door and at times it doesnt even work. Service is not great and it is a hassle to use the shuttle.

Enjoyed a week's stay here, but expected more of a 4-star hotel. The room was spotlessly clean but basic and not that functional - it lacked storage space with only a wardrobe, which, although provided plenty of hanging space, had no drawers or shelving. There were only 2 plug sockets, 1 in the bedroom and the other in the bathroom - not handy for charging. There was no mirror at the table in the bedroom, which meant doing hair in the bathroom mirror, but doing hair in a steamy bathroom is not ideal. We had an issue with the drain in the shower being blocked, but this was quickly fixed after it was reported. The breakfast was disappointing as it was basic, with little variation over the course of the week. The exception was the pastries and cakes. The selection of these was huge and changed daily. For me, I could have done with less sweet treats and more savoury options for breakfast. Had lunch here and one night for dinner - the food was good but not exceptional. There are much better places in the town for food. The big plus point of the hotel is the pool area. The views are truly amazing, and with drinks and food being served from the pool bar, it is a relaxing place to enjoy the sun.

The views from the hotel of the Bay of Naples & Vesuvius are incredible! The pool, sun bed terrace & outside dining area are very nice. The hotel interior, however, has a budget feel to it and the so called “Superior” Room we had was tiny, poorly furnished (with no bedside tables, no chest of drawers & only a single wardrobe each with no shelves in it. The artwork in the room was creased paper posters fixed to the wall with drawing pins. No coffee/tea making facilities and very poor finish in the Bathroom. The room balcony, however, was spacious with a sea view. The hotel food, service & staff were excellent.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days on our honey and we would definitely recommend. The room and pool views are spectacular. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt accommodated. Transportation from the hotel to the Sorrento bus station was included and also very reliable. A big thank you to the staff for making our honeymoon experience enjoyable!

This is a great hotel with a beautiful view over the bay of Naples, an excellent restaurant and wonderful staff. However, it is spoiled by an apparent reliance on American tour groups which arrive in hordes, act as if they own the place and are generally rude, loud and arrogant.

Review of Art Hotel Gran Paradiso, Sorrento We spent a wonderful week at the Art Hotel Gran Paradiso in Sorrento, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This high-quality, well-managed hotel offers stunning views over the bay, with breathtaking vistas of the mountains and Mount Vesuvius that truly elevate the stay. The staff were outstanding—professional, warm, and customer-focused, ensuring every moment felt special. Our room, number 222, was a modest size but well-equipped with a stocked (chargeable) mini bar, a safe, and a comfortable bathroom featuring a great shower and quality toiletries. The room had a small balcony, but the view was limited to a rambling old house with trees, and lacked the scenic beauty found from the front or side views. However, the hotel’s other attributes more than compensated for this. Aircon was effective although noisy with the fan on. Bed was medium firm and comfortable. The pool area was a highlight, with a lovely depth of 1.90m and a serene atmosphere, perfect for couples. It was never overcrowded, with plenty of sun loungers available. The nearby bar area offered a great selection of reasonably priced drinks, cocktails, and food, all conveniently charged to the room. Service by the pool was prompt and friendly, adding to the relaxed vibe. The hotel’s restaurant, Toni’s, was a standout, located just metres from the pool and bar area with a large outdoor terrace boasting incredible bay views. We dined there for three nights, and the food was excellent, with a varied menu and particularly delicious, well-portioned desserts. The professional service matched the food’s quality. Breakfasts were equally good with a buffet offering an array of sweet treats, cheeses, cold meats, fruits, and hot options like bacon, eggs (cooked to order), sausages, fried bread, beans, and omelettes. Table service for coffee and tea. The hotel’s location, perched high above the bay, offers spectacular scenery but requires transport to reach Sorrento’s bustling center, which was busy even in mid-September. The hotel’s reliable shuttle bus was a lifesaver, running multiple times daily with a quick 5-minute journey to town, the last bus returning at 11pm. The shuttle was busy in the evenings, and on one occasion, it was full, but the hotel promptly sent a minibus to pick up remaining guests—a testament to their excellent service. We highly recommend the Art Hotel Gran Paradiso for its stunning views, high-quality facilities, and exceptional management. It’s a perfect choice for a memorable Sorrento stay, though those prioritizing a room with a view may want to check room details when booking.

We had such an amazing holiday at this hotel and I can't wait to return next year. It was a special trip for my friend an I. Everything about this hotel is amazing. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Our cleaner Rosa was a beautiful lady . The restaurant staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful greeted you with a smile . Breakfast was great and the omelette lady amazing. The bar staff were friendly and great fun and always went above and beyond. Thank you, Michele, Carlo, Enrico and Nana. Reception team were also helpful . The shuttle service is such a great extra and we used it alot . The spa and treatments were great. And the therapist Gemma was brilliant. In fact returning next year I can't wait for another treatment with her. And lastly the view, the pool is just breathing and made the holiday. My friend and I really can't wait to come back. See you next August.

I took my 15 /17 year olds for a 6 day break. It’s not for little kids in my opinion. The staff and the stunning pool and the staff were incredible. The panoramic view of sorrento is unbeatable. The food was so good my teenagers asked to leave a restaurant and go back to the hotel for the food. The team of staff made me want to return. Honestly the shuttle bus is not a drama unless you want to be dong things at very specific times . And would not be great with little kids in my opinion . But for us it was a perfect stay.

I firstly would like to say this is a nice hotel, with a beautiful view from the pool. Good breakfast and shuttle service. On arrival after travelling 12 hours with a young child I was asked if I would take a free upgrade for 3 nights if I would stay in a room for the first night which was a block of 4 rooms a few minutes drive from the hotel (not a part of the hotel) As a solo traveller with a child I declined as I wanted to feel safe within the hotel. The lady on reception was eager for me to take this option and I don’t understand why and seemed annoyed when I said no and spoke with her colleague in Italian to which I could not understand what they were saying but it was clear they weren’t happy. The room I was given was dirty on arrival (hair in the bathroom and on the floor) and with only a small window and no balcony. The next day I was given a room with a balcony. I used an extra pool towel on my last day from reception as the ones from my room by this point were soaking wet and the same lady from day one came over to me that night when I was with my young daughter after our evening meal to ask me to bring back the towel to reception. It was 8pm and I said I’ll give it in in the morning and she told me “no, it must be tonight” this was unpleasant, unprofessional and myself and my daughter felt uneasy around this woman all holiday.

Beautiful hotel and beautiful experience. The staff was really friendly, ready to meet all your needs. When we arrived i wanted to change pur room due to its size which i thought was small for two adults. In a monute i was offered with three other rooms without aditional charge. Rooms are decorated in a minimalist manner but very clean, pur sheets were changed during pir seben day stay, and the room was cleaned every day woth changed towels and beach towels. All the excursions can be organizesd at the reception desk, which i did so i had a beautiful time visiting Capri and the Amalfi coast, woth hotel pick up-drop off. Also, the hotel Toni restaurant has a varous meal options, very tasty and not that procy, considering it is a hotel rastaurant. Room service is great also. Hotel shuttle bus drives during the day to Sorrento, in a few minutes you are there. The pool is very clean and modern, has amazing view, with plenty of sunnbeds, it is never crowded and you can always find free sunbed, no matter when you come to the pool. Hotel breakfast is quite nice, with standard italian offer of more sweet breakfast options. The only improvment that i suggest is maybe providing roomf with coffee and tea making facilities, for all of us that like having their first morning coffee at the balcony. Rooms are not provided with kettlers and coffee makers, which i think is a kust in a 4* hotel. All in all, i had amazing time there and i recomend this hotel with all my heart. I send my best to alp the staff of Art hotel grand paradiso.

This hotel has a great pool and sundeck with the most amazing views . The hotel has a modern theme with some art works . My first room was comfortable and clean, no balcony. As the aircon was not great I managed to upgrade to a 4th floor sea view room with small balcony - loved it. Rooms cleaned well each day and all towels changed . Good minifridge/bar, but no tea/coffee facility. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful - particular mention to all the restaurant and bar staff who always greet you warmly . I really enjoyed the amazing food and ate at the hotel mostly, including lunch - and again great views when dining . Some great specials such as red snapper, linguini with lobster - all washed down with great selection of wines at reasonable prices. The hotel is up a very steep hill 15mins walk to Sant Agnello or 30 mins to Sorrento . There is a regular hotel shuttle but bear this in mind as taxis €20 to 30 - and in the height of summer the walk is bit of an effort ! I had a great holiday at this hotel. The only minor issue I had was aircon in bedrooms not great - minimum 22 to 23 degrees which I find a bit warm for sleeping
