Due to extreme weather we could not access the property via road. So could not stay. Very disappointed, but will be next time

We were recommended to stay in Top10 campitess where possible. Our first night on the road in NZ's South Island - at Ross Beach - was the in the best campsite of our 10 day trip in a campervan. Fabulous beach-side location. We were blessed with great weather and clear night skies. The fire pit provided a good spot to chat with a fellow camper for a few hours under the stars. Easy booking, great reception and check-in, good level pitch for the campervan, decent amount of privacy of the site which didn't face the sea, excellent clean bathroom and kitchen facilities, easy to find, good value for money, .

Excellent all round best camping venue we have stayed at throughout our NZ trip highly recommend - brilliant location right on beach front Excellent WiFi so the children are happy even offer delicious home made pizza’s. We stayed in powered campervan site but the pod and container accommodation looked excellent also.

We were lucky enough to stay in the Sunset pod which had beach and sunset views, just perfect. While the containers are small they are so cute, colourful and quirky, very comfortable with everything you need and have been outfitted to a very high standard. We especially liked the bed, so comfortable with beautiful linens. We had a couple of nights here in the middle of our 4 week trip and is was so nice to just walk along the beautiful beach and enjoy the remoteness. We also explored Hokitika from here, only a 25min drive away. We enjoyed a wood fired pizza and a couple of drinks by the fire on our first night and met some lovely people. The whole place had a lovely friendly vibe, no doubt mainly due to Sue and Andy, the lovely managers.

Amazing campervan site with non powered sites having views across beach. Facilities spotless and feel very new. Landscaping of site was fantastic providing privacy. Owners extremely friendly and added extras like outside fireplace and weekend pizzas.

Probably the best accommodation I've ever stayed at. Very private backyard area with sea views from the balcony. Bed was very comfortable and the cabin had everything we need, was clean and new. Outdoor bath was a real treat and perfect for late night star gazing. BBQ very handy to have too.

If you enjoy being right on the beach, with an on-site bar and woodfired pizzas on offer, and super clean fully equipped facilities then you will LOVE this place. We'd been wanting to stay here since we happened to drop in a couple of years ago. We're so glad we did. The overall vibe of the area and the staff were amazing. We will definitely be back - just for longer next time!

Peaceful friendly camp ground, would recommend this location. Amazing views and the containers are tucked always in your own private areas which was a nice design. Also able to leave vehicles here while cycling , which was s helpful.

Just a fantastic location to finish a perfect West Coast Day / experience. You need to enjoy the wood fire pizza and a drink by relaxing and looking at the sunset. A must do for every traveler, no matter if you travel per van, mobile home, bicycle... Just stay and wind down.
