The spacious rooms, with large box full length windows bring in the natural light and are full of quality fittings and fixtures, the beds are heaven and are dressed with beautiful bed linen, pillows & covers and the bath towels are soft and ever so fluffy, most rooms have a big spacious bathroom and a deep spa bath which entices you in every time along with the quintessential must have blue duck. Then there is the roof top pool, a small gym and sauna too. It’s our home away from home!

The location is very good. It is a 30-second walk from the south yarra train station and tram station. It is convenient to go anywhere, and it takes ten minutes to the city. The hotel is not in the city, but there are restaurants and bars to eat around. There is a woolworth diagonally across the road and I bought half-price tofu rice, which is hard and spoiled! The hotel should be newly opened, the facilities are very new, and the service staff is very enthusiastic. We also sent a welcome drink card when checking in. (The room is not large, but one or two people are OK. If you are a child, you can book one Other larger room types

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ovolo South Yarra. Such a cool, funky hotel! The perks were great and the bed was so comfortable. All of the staff were lovely. My boyfriend loves art so we really enjoyed walking around and seeing all the cool art and decor. Very happy, fun vibe. Great location as well which suited us perfectly as we planned to have drinks with friends in Chapel Street that night. We were able to wander around and check out a near by gallery, Prahran market and various shops on Chapel Street. They also have a check out time of 11.00 which was so good as we find the check out time at most hotels is too early and its always a rush to get packed, shower and get ready, have breakfast and get out the door. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a great stay. :)

Last Friday went for my sons year 12 graduation as he was a boarder at Melbourne grammar. Phoned to ask for extra park and changed rooms and everything was no problems. Was very pleased to be offered late check out. Service was amazing and we will definitely be staying here every time now. Perfect spot for walking to also

The apartment was spacious, very well appointed, clean, quiet and fabulously located in the heart of South Yarra. Free parking and easy strolling distance to trains and trams to the city or the culinary delights of the area. We loved the funky design and great facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our midweek stay was great value too. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

Nice place to stay, location was great for us. Handy to trams, trains and Greville Street & Chapel Street shopping. Staff pleasant and helpful, easy check in. A Little noisy with some guests, and it is near the railway line but once inside, we didn't notice it. Good to be able to park the car there, shame we had to pay extra for that service though. I'd go back to stay there.
