The Southampton Village Motel felt like a home away from home. It was clean, reasonably priced for the holiday weekend and the location was PERFECT for all we did: shopping on Main Street (located down the block), Sag Harbor, Sagaponeck, East Hamptons, etc. the room was small and we’re a family of three so it was a bit tight, but for a last minute trip, we made it work. We booked a room with a queen sized bed, brought a twin size air mattress for or 7 yr old and slept comfortably. Ryan, the property manager, was very kind to us, showed us great hospitality and the clean staff was very nice was well. All in all, we would stay here again and again. Another sweet touch was the backyard peaceful and beautiful sitting area, we had breakfast there one morning. Our trip was beautiful and the memories we made definitely included the Southampton Village Motel!

Very cute and clean room. Bathroom is a little small. Affordable for Southampton. Would recommend for 1 or 2 nights.

Tiny rooms, filled with ants. We went for breakfast left our take out on the dresser for 5 minutes not edible because leftovers were coveted with ants. Good location to town

Stayed here recently for a long weekend. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and the location was good - walkable to Main Street and an option across the street for quick breakfast/ coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

I did reserve and pay for a one night stay (by using the hotel´s homepage). Given high season I paid a high price (four figures). By doing so I accepted rather harsh cancellation conditions (one night at least, so in my case I would get no money back). Then the hotel cancelled my reservation without contacting me before. They claim they made an error and during that time a 3 night minimum stay would apply. The hotel´s email was borderline rude. And given that this did not qualify as an error fare, the hotel had no right to cancel my reservation. Just imagine I would have tried to cancel my reservation - that would not have been possible given the booking conditions. The hotel charges a mandatory 3% credit card charge. In addition, I did incur international credit card fees in. The hotel refuses to refund these fees. Just imagine the other way around - would the hotel refund the credit card charges in case a customer cancels? Certainly not. Furthermore, the hotel initially tried to ghost me. They only replied after a second email of mine. This is the least customer friendly hotel I have ever experienced in the USA. Do NOT book this hotel. They believe rules only apply to customers, not to themselves.

We were so pleasantly surprised as to how nice the Southampton Village Motel was. The rooms/bath were clean, bright & airy. We were able to walk to Southampton Main Street so very convenient to all. The staff was so helpful. We would go back the next time we are in Southampton!

While the room is very nice (design, furniture, finishes), the hotel is infested with spiders. It is not an exaggeration when I say the room had 20 medium to large sized spiders around the room when I walked in - spider webs in all corners, closets and shelves. I went to the office and told the manager and their response was "we have spiders" (as I walked out of the office I noticed spiders in all corners of the office as well). The cleaning staff supposedly was sent to the room to clean the spiders up but it was as if no cleaning staff had come. The staff claims the room is cleaned every week but if that is true then the infestation is very serious. Behind the closet's there were siders nesting. I decided to try and kill all the spiders I could find but the next morning I woke up and there were more that showed up. Lastly, the AC unit was full of a black material (possibly mold or mildew). I have stayed at this hotel every summer for a few years but it recently changed day-to-day management. This is a beautiful property that needs to spend the money and have professional exterminators come and deal with the problem.
