This is now a migrant hotel and has been since May 2022. I booked online turned and was turned away. I was lucky to finally get a refund. All I wanted to do was stay there so I could see my daughter off to university up the road. She's also dropping out because she fears for her safety.

Migrant hotel avoid at all costs. Hopefully they will fail once they are back open to the public. i doubt the public will get a free stay and unlimited food

Stay very far away from this place if you want to feel safe as the staff are very unhelpful and are happy to stand by while other guests verbally and physically assault you. a horresdous ordeal firghtened for our lives, so if you think about staying here please mull it over carefully

I gave a lift a guest to stay at this hotel. I drove to the hotel and waited for a short time while they collected their luggage .I thought no more about it until I received a £100 parking fine in the post. I’ve explained the circumstances to both the parking company (it seems the hotel has ‘outsourced’ their car park) and the hotel both of whom have been unhelpful and unwilling to review the fine. This is outrageous and an incredibly poor way to treat users of this hotel. Since finding myself in this situation I have heard of a number of other people who’ve experienced similar, so this is not a one-off and is clearly result of a money-making policy.

Do not use the hotel or its adjoining Ceno's restaurant unless you want to get a £100 parking fine. They operate a Parking Eye scheme and even if you are a guest or diner, you get fined and the manager is extremely unhelpful, It's a scandal and I'm surprised their overall rating is so high. Very poor customer service
