The hotel service was great, the stay was comfortable, breakfast included, the restaurant had boiled water supply, the front desk was very kind, and the parking side was recommended. There are also many supermarkets nearby. If you are traveling, Uber is recommended. There are almost no pedestrians on the road and they are all driving.

The positive elements of this room are: a desk top that multi functions as a dining table for two (desk chair and side chair); comfortable pillows, fine quality sheets and highly absorbent towels; and staff who were customer focused. My husband enjoyed the recliner. The downsides were: silverware was missing and there was not back up to replace it; a timer knob controls the electricity to the stovetop (it was missing and dinner was delayed a bit while the staff found a replacement); the cooking utensils were very limited - only a fork and hard spatula - please add a large spoon and perhaps a rubber spatula; we had only 1 mug and the desk clerk brought us two matching ones. For a long-stay motel, the provided cooking/dining items are very limited. While this didn’t matter to us, please note that Candlewood Suites do not serve a complimentary breakfast. We will try this brand again and we’ll inventory the kitchen upon arrival so we are not delayed at dinner time.

Was pleasantly surprised with the newly updated rooms. Very clean. Bath fixtures looked new (faucets, sink, etc). No problems with our neighbors. Wifi worked great. TV channels limited. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was basic but facility was clean.

The room was very clean! The employees that were at the front desk and breakfast area were great, friendly, helpful! Great stay. Will definitely stay at this location when I return to the area. The convenience of shopping and restaurants within walking distance is a plus.

We reserved this hotel to host a small seminar. We also booked a couple guest rooms. The event space we reserved was presented as having a capacity of 60 people. We asked to have catering for 55 people. When we arrived to set up, the sales event manager was not onsite. We then discovered this room they had us in had a maximum capacity of 40 (there was a sign on the wall). It was TINY. They had about 50 chairs CRAMMED into this room. There was barely space to turn around (let alone social distance). Next we discovered that while we had paid for them to provide a paper flip chart, they did not provide it and no one was around to address that issue. We worked around it. Then we turn on the projector (because we were going to show a PowerPoint and some videos, etc.) and the projector bulb is not working properly. It colored everything we put on the screen in a bright neon yellow tint. At this point, suffice to say, we were mortified and having our seminar attendees see that state of all of this. Then comes the loud 21st birthday party in the room next door to ours. Our event was scheduled to end at 5:30. The party started at 5:00 sharp and the club music was so loud our guests could barely hear us over the music. Basically everything this venue could have done to screw up our event, they did. If you have something important going on, do not rent space from this place!

This is not the first time that I have stayed at this location, but it is the first time that I have had a less than great experience. Hospitality seems to have gone out the window at this location, just as it has so many other places. Understaffed? Not sure. I didn’t find any of the staff to be particularly outgoing. The front desk staff was less than enthusiastic, and the breakfast waitress was doing it all by herself and was clearly overwhelmed. I did find the room to be clean, but the mattress was not comfortable at all. This location is right in the thick of things, and very convenient to shopping and dining. I would advise you to check your receipt closely during checkout. As a Gold Honors member, I was entitled to credits which I applied to breakfast. However, I found that I was actually charged for the breakfast. I had to reach back out to the hotel by phone to secure a refund.
