This hotel is in a great location for all beach amenities great days out at the dockyard the staff are very friendly and did anything for us nothing was to much. £5 for car park that’s underneath 👍 the hotel is near a fun fare but you wouldn’t know this at night quiet area, Many thanks for our lovely stay

Fabulous location. Brilliant pub with kids soft play. Great views of the sea one side and the common the other. Rooms are typical Premier Inn but not the newest type. Service of the taff was all good.

Have stayed at a few premier inns around the country and generally never had any issues with them, we went the second week of Easter holidays so wasn't overly busy which was good. Staff were friendly, some more so than others, some preferred not to make eye contact when you walked past reception. Location was perfect for a short family holiday as we had access to the car park and the amusements, fun fair and beach, no issue with noise from outside at night, very quiet. Quality of the breakfast was very good, everything was replenished frequently, and the breakfast staff were very friendly. The only issue we had that we noticed as soon as we got into the room was the footsteps coming from the room above us were very loud and the whole ceiling would shake. Unfortunately they seemed to like pacing around a lot, even till 4.30am so the quality of sleep was not great. Place was booked out so couldn't change rooms. Was thinking to give 3 stars because of the noise above but one negative doesn't out way the many positives.

This hotel is very conviently situated right by the hover croft for fast travelling to the Isle of wight, 2 mins from the door and you are 8 minutes from the Isle of wight. I stay here often and Sunita on reception is fantastic and a true credit to the hotel, the rooms are always clean and kept to a high standard.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Premier Inn and had a lovely time away. Despite being very busy we felt well cared for and felt in an excellent location for exploring the surrounding area. The room felt a little tired but it was clean and had everything we needed. We ate in the adjoining Brewers Fayre and felt the staff were excellent! Thank you to all! We would certainly return.

First time at this hotel but definitely not the last! We stayed for two nights visiting family living near by. We booked a Premier inn Plus room and it was brilliant and excellent value. The room was clean, bright and warm, the room included upgraded WiFi in the price. Fridge in the room with complimentary sparkling and still water,Nespresso machine with pods filled up on request. On site parking very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful, meals at the attached Brewers Fayre tasty and reasonably price. Within walking distance of so many places of interest. I'd highly recommend a stay.

Easy to find. Nice location right by the sea. Family room was well laid out and clean. We arrived late and got the last space in the car park which was really reasonably priced. We didn’t need the car while we were there though as we could easily walk into town. Breakfast was good in the attached Brewers Fayre.

Stayed here for easy to catch a ferry from Portsmouth early morning and wanted to be well rested. Room/corridor needs food airing and room deep clean but room wasn’t too bad. Hotel tired. Kept awake most of the night with cats “drifting” and racing up and down seafront area and doughnut-ing in main carpark to side of hotel. So up early not well rested and pay for the privilege. Staff attentive and breakfast nice. Restaurant shut in eve.

I found this hotel on line, having booked a couple of tickets to see a show at the Kings Theatre in Southsea, to celebrate my sister's very special birthday. It was very convenient for the theatre ( About 8 minutes drive away ). The staff were second to none. They were helpful, friendly and very efficient. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff had left a box of chocs on the bed and a card for my sister to wish her 'happy birthday', which was a lovely gesture. We had a twin bedded room with and ensuite bathroom. It was spotlessly clean throughout and the beds very comfortable. TV and tea and coffee provided in the room. A very nice stay and I would definitely recommend, especially for the convenience, if visiting the Kings theatre. A special thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome.
