The hotel is not 4 star but since i stayed there before I knew what to expect. The first few days there was a bit of a mood among the staff and it was unclear what was going in. The day before checking out it became clear what was going on. I was called while I was attending a seminar and asked to vacate the room at once. They said the hotel was closing. So we all had to clear out. Since there was a sister hotel not too far, it seemed logical we would be moved there and the staff at reception confirmed that. However, when I arrived at the Radisson Palace, no arrangements were made. Upon contacting the hotel, they told me to wait and that i had no choice but to wait in the rain. I decided to book another night at my own expense and I lost the prepaid money for my last night at the Balmoral hotel. After more than 30 years of travelling I never experienced anything like that. Radisson call centre was not helpful at all. Conclusion: Fawlty Towers is not the worst run hotel in the world.

As good as ever. Great rooms, Spotless and comfortable. An elegant hotel. They've had an ongoing problem with not having a chef but that's about to change they tell me. Remains my go to hotel for Spa

Not family friendly. Restaurant not open as announced by **********. Only open in the morning, for not very good an expensive breakfast buffet. Pool not open for children during the day only from 8 - 9 am and 18 - 22 pm for ekstra 17 Euro per day that we not expected to pay. Lights went out the first evening All over the hotel, so we had to walk to the 3'rd floor. All in All not living up to our expectations at all. We really needed this vacation and I'm so disapointed that I would have switched hotel if I could afford to loose the money

This hotel unfairly tries to extract money from you at every opportunity. Firstly, they advertise they they have an indoor pool, but they don’t mention that it costs €17 per person per day to use it, though this does include the sauna and hamman. If you don’t have inclusive breakfast it costs a huge €21 per person per day. There is a room service “cool” breakfast available at €7 per person plus a €7 tray charge. This seems reasonable until you go to check out and they charge you the €21 on top. This is not mentioned on the in-room breakfast menu card, so breakfast for two people ended up costing an outrageous €63, which is very poor value. The rooms are tired, and there was a rip in the net curtain and stains on the pillow, plus a near rip in the duvet cover and a cracked sink in the bathroom. As others have mentioned, even though we booked a room with a king size bed the booking was made with 2 single beds. Fortunately the hotel had spare available king rooms. Half of the car park was taped off for no apparent reason, leaving it short of spaces once all guests had arrived. Service is patchy. Some staff were good, but others hopeless. All in all, not a good experience. We won’t be going back!

Avoid it ! You will book a kingsized bed, they will promise you a king size bed, and on arrival they will put you in single beds with silly excuses and ask for outrageous additional costs to "upgrade" you to a king size bed ! No manager on duty and no complain follow up after your stay ! Hotel is also quite oldish and dirty. Such a bad experience never again !

Restaurant was closed due to lack of having a chef! Breakfast was below average.. breakfast hot food was not hot.. coffee machine not working properly which caused a long line just for coffee.. the kettle in room was dirty, unable to use.. the bar was not attended, so not able to offer a drink to my friends.. and room was pretty dusty

Very unfriendly, unmotivated staff at the reception, long waiting time even there was only one couple in front of us and one service member was hanging on the computer all the time - doing what?!? Additional costs for Wellness / Pool hidden on the hotel‘s / provider‘s pages, Restaurant closed, breakfast for little children 21 Euros!!!

Very disappointing experience - never again! Unfriendly, incompetent staff, lousy service and hidden information about extra fees for the wellness/pool and gym. No additional towels provided. Not children/family friendly: restricted pool times (in the late evening and early morning only) and full price for the breakfast for the little ones (21 EUR) - and very dangerous esp. for babies: the windows in our room were very low but had no railings and could only be opened completely-unbelievable!!!

I have staid at Radisson Balmoral mseveral times, and did enjoy it until this time. The resturant was closed, the breakfast was poor, and the the food in the bar was served cold. The location is great and rooms good, you just have eat your meals some where else.
