Convenient location close to the old town and numerous restaurants. Relatively quiet room with comfortable beds. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Friendly, helpful staff available 24/7 at the front desk. We reserved a “deluxe room” but were disappointed by the size of the room. This is an older hotel that has been remodeled, so it has a classic feel to it. Bathroom is adequate and newly remodeled, but it has a “classic”bathtub that is challenging to get in and out of to use the integral shower. Internet in the room is excruciatingly slow, especially in the late afternoon and evening. And you have to log-in with your code repeatedly!

The staff at this hotel are absolutely the best! We had a booking at another place that turned out to be fraudulent. A helpful local brought us to President Hotel and we have been treated extremely well. The staff have gone above and beyond to help us negotiate the various booking issues we’ve had. The room is very clean and comfortable and the included breakfast is luxurious. Top marks all the way for President Hotel!

Everything was perfect! We had a great stay and the staff is so sweet! The room is very clean and the lobby is beautiful. Everyone is so nice and the breakfast was really good. Definetly comming back it was perfect!

An overpriced average hotel that needs a lot of upgrades but has a lot of potential as it is in an ace location. Staff have been very nice but a special mention to Ivan who assisted us more than once.

A clean very descent Hotel located 5 min from the Diocletian palace. Great breakfast buffet and very friendly staff. Can you ask for more? Not really but (there is always a but) 260 a night is a bit too much for what this place has to offer. Unfortunately.

Very nice staff, comfortable room and perfectly located hotel (we were over for Ultra festival which was 10 mins walk). Super close to Old Town and the seafront, would recommend to any visitors looking for a chilled weekend or engaging with the nightlife.

The hotel is very nice, there's no doubt about that! The greatest asset of the hotel though, is the people that works here. They are extremely helpful and kind. Whether you need to go to the reception three times in 10 minutes (to get help) or move outside during breakfast, they will help you with a smile! They create a lovely atmosphere!

We stayed at this hotel while traveling with a tour group. While the hotel apparently is in an advantageous location in Split, it is very meager. The rooms are dated and the bathrooms need work. Be aware that some of the rooms may not have real showers. The breakfact buffet was marginal in quality.

Avoid this place!! The hotel Is old and the rooms are like a disaster! The furniture are from the sixties, the bed are uncomfortable like sleeping in the floor , I ask for a memory foam and they gave me mattress coverage that doesn’t make any difference! The internet is weak , you have to be in the lobby ! Breakfast ok! The only thing good is the location! Close to the old city

We were booked for a residential suite, which was very spacious, nicely decorated and with a robust A/C. Unfortunately, the toilet broke on the second flush, and we were told that because the hotel was fully booked we would have to move to a junior executive suite. That room was terrible. In addition to the off-putting shower located inside the bedroom, the furniture was worn out and so badly stained that we were afraid to sit on the chairs. The A/C was also so underpowered that it might as well not have been there, and we were too hot to sleep that night. The toilet, on the other hand, flushed with such exuberance that the toilet water splashed out onto the floor. Luckily for us, they fixed our original room and we were able to move back into it the next day. Breakfast is nice and is served in a nice, relaxed setting. We would give the residential suite experience four stars and the junior executive suite one star.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Excellent food and service. Close to central area of town. Clean , efficient, modern. Came to connect with your group. Conference rooms beautiful. Covered patio a way to unwind from daily activities.

When we got here the trash had not been removed from the previous guests and one lamp was missing a light bulb. Also, a clump of hair was found by the desk—so much for high marks for cleanliness! The curtains do not block the sun and the location is noisy. The wifi is terrible. Only one trash can per room. And the kicker—it’s warm today but the hotel system is still set to “heat” and they cannot cool the rooms. Our room was stifling. The only good points are the location and the shower wasn’t bad. I would never return.

A great hotel in a superb location. About 10 min walk to the sea front and the old town. Hotel staff were really friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room spotless. Breakfast buffet in morning had plenty of choice with cereals, hot breakfast and cold meats on offer A great stay was had

Stayed overnight during a tour of Croatia. Great location for split takes 5 mins to reach the centre. While the hotel has been updated with all modern facilities has character of the past. One thing we would say evening meal was amazing we hade a set meal but the quality of the food was 5*. Reception staff very helpful and very friendly. The room was very clean and a hidden gem in split. We walked to the harbour at night and was very safe walk. Many thanks had a great stay
