Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill

King George Square, located in the city center directly opposite City Hall, offers an excellent spot for shopping and sightseeing. Spring Hill, on the other hand, is situated on a quiet hill about a 10-15 minute walk from the city center. While there's a steep incline, it provides a peaceful environment.

The hotel is a bit of a walk uphill from the city center, which can be tiring if you have luggage or a stroller. However, overall it's still quite convenient. The hotel doesn't have a laundry service available.

The hotel is not far from the train station, about a 10-minute walk. The breakfast was average. The room was clean and comfortable with a small balcony. We stayed for 3 nights. There was some construction noise from the empty lot next door, and there are no shops right beside the hotel.

This stay at Hotel Tide Phuket on Phuket's west coast was truly a relaxing choice. The hotel's design, with its blue and white tones combined with natural wood, is simple yet tropical, giving you that vacation feeling the moment you step inside. The hotel's location is super convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to the CBD, but it's not too noisy. There's also a free City Loop Bus (Route 30) nearby, making it easy to get to Roma Street Station or other city attractions.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. On the first day, I arrived early and asked for an early check-in, which was great because I could get into the room a bit sooner. However, there was construction happening right outside the balcony of the first room we got, which caused some noise. When I mentioned this, they were able to change our room the very next day. The service was excellent. They cleaned the room daily, so we had a pleasant and clean stay. The hotel wasn't far from the city hall area, but it was uphill, which was a bit tiring.

Overall, it was a good stay. The service and environment were both nice, with the only minor issue being the bathroom layout. The price was very reasonable, and it's conveniently located close to City Hall, the train station, and Queen Street, most of which are within walking distance.
