First room was honestly not ok for the price, but the reception was very nice and changed us into a better room. The second one was ok except the fact that hot and cold in the shower were inverted and I basically roasted myself in trying to adjust it. They were very nice but no compensation was offered. Overall I’m sorry but it was definitely too expensive for the state of the place and I would not recommend it.

Just one day in Brisbane. Location actually at the mountain side but easy to walk to city and town hall. Everything is standard and not bad.

Soho hotel moved my booking to Mercure hotel. I expected will be better, but I am quite disappointed. I arrived early than official check in time, so I was waited at lobby. Receptionist told me will remind me once the room ready. After waited 3 hours, and I saw a lot of people checked in, I asked the receptionist and found she forgotten me. The mug in the room was dirty, towel dirty, drill renovation noise before 7am in the morning, honestly quite disappointed. I recorded the drill noise but cannot upload video here.

Booking was moved to different motel just beside the Soho and this was done with no fuss.dont know why booking was transferred but no problems in the new motel

Very nice location, can access all major tourist spot by walking, the service was top and friendly, I was able to get the room earlier than the check in time, the room is good size and clean. The plus is the free parking space. No lifts, a bit inconvenient with luggage.

Pros: Excellent location, very friendly staff, and all the necessary amenities in the room. Cons: The room is not well shaded so it is very bright in the morning, there are few parking spaces and they are far from the entrance, and I don't understand why there is a staircase at the back but it cannot be used.
