This is a modern, clean motel. The unit as stayed in (1 bed) was a decent size with a lovely bathroom and almost all the amenities you would expect. The king bed was nice and comfortable, the sofa was also. Everything looked like new. The only let down for me was that I would not stay in the 1 bedroom until again. I'd rather stay in a studio.. why?? Because there is no TV in the bedroom... This was the only letdown because I love nothing more than getting into the lovely bed and watching the TV. The main TV was a decent Samsung smart with Freeview but is connected to the internet so you can stream YouTube and Netflix. You can also mirror view your phone. To sit in bed a stream Netflix would have been awesome! Apart from that, a great place with decent rates. This place operates self check in/out, which I enjoy.

Beautiful and quiet courtyard, complete kitchen facilities, and convenient living around. Especially the Korean bosses are warm and kind and responsible for their work. One day, my husband answered the phone in the yard, accidentally put his bag on the stool in the yard and left. Our passports, ID cards and other important things were all inside. Twenty minutes later, we found out that the bag was gone, and we were in a hurry. When the domestic epidemic was tense and international flights were cancelled again, we would be unable to move without a passport. We told the Korean boss about this, he asked about the situation, let us not worry. Ten minutes later, he delivered the bag to our room. There were a lot of passports and cash in the bag. We are very fortunate to book this hotel, and met this honest and kind Korean owner, who is away from home, this hotel is trustworthy. Call the owner!

This is a favorite motel in New Zealand! The room is large with two bedrooms, one bedroom is twin beds and the other is the bedroom and living room with a double bed. The facilities are clean, clean, and can make some small smells of food, the bath water is great, the bedding is very comfortable, and everything is just right. The hotel is run by an old couple. The old couple is super super good. They will take the initiative to ask about the itinerary. They will introduce a lot of useful information according to the following itinerary. We have lived for two days and it is very good! Recommended for you who are going to travel~

I cannot say enough about James who went above and beyond his quality service he provided for my daughter who is holidaying from Sydney. My daughter became ill and is physically unable to walk, without discomfort and also is part time in a wheel chair. I booked her room in an upstairs apartment, then my daughter became ill. I forgot to rebook a down stairs room for her as stairs was a no go. James was fully booked but managed to arrange guests so my daughter and her partner could have a convenient down stairs room for their stay. I am so grateful for James to be so patient, kind and considerate making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are spotless and super clean. Thankyou James for your 10/10 service I can not thank you enough.

I have been travelling for a few weeks across the country - staying at a different motor lodge every day - I stayed in Christchurch for the weekend before going to Hokitika- really clean and comfortable room - Kitchenette - spa bath and washing machine and tumble dryer -sky tv - only down side is limited Wifi ( have mentioned to motel regarding this as out of all other location not charged for wifi elsewhere- however the motel was so good I went and stayed again a week later before getting my flight. We were looking for a room with a bit of space to wind down from our NZ holiday, and the Royal Suite fit the bill. It is a one-bedroom apartment, with a separate bathroom and loungeroom. It felt like a place where a downsizing couple could live permanently. Yes, it was that good. The hotel is located on the fringe of the CBD, with plenty of swank restaurants and nightspots within 5 minutes by car. But our room was quiet and peaceful, at the back of the property near the outdoor pool. In short, we loved this hotel and this apartment. We will be back next time we are in Christchurch.

I had a wonderful one night stay at this establishment. The check-in was quick although the owner doesn't speak much English. Small parking lot in the back that can fit 3 cars and a few street spots in the front. The room also included a couch and a 2-person dining table. Everything was clean and cozy. There was a full kitchen with a stovetop, oven, water boiler, mini fridge with ice compartment, cooking utensils, cutlery, bowls, cutting board, bowls/plates, and salt and pepper. The kitchen and bathroom have doors so it limits the kitchen smells into the bedroom. TV has several channels. Shower had a great pressure and plenty hot water, hair dryer included. 2 air heaters available in room. There was provided bathroom toiletries. I was given 2 wifi code vouchers for 1GB each, speed was okay but not great. I was on the top floor; walls are thin facing the outside but overall noise was quiet. You’ll maybe hear other guests moving in and out of building. I would have been happy and comfortable with a long stay here; would recommend.

Absolutely amazing place, host went out of his way to help us. Late check in and a trailer park! Loads of little touches, free soup, crackers etc. the smelly bathroom products are a beautiful touch. Clean, tidy and smells nice! Room was quiet, no road noise. Even the heater was on for us with a warm room. And a brilliant shower for the win :) Only could wish two things 1. We could have stayed longer !! 2. We had found this place earlier!! Well done to you both, we will be back :) Thank you

This is a favorite motel in New Zealand! The room is large with two bedrooms, one bedroom is twin beds and the other is the bedroom and living room with a double bed. The facilities are clean, clean, and can make some small smells of food, the bath water is great, the bedding is very comfortable, and everything is just right. The hotel is run by an old couple. The old couple is super super good. They will take the initiative to ask about the itinerary. They will introduce a lot of useful information according to the following itinerary. We have lived for two days and it is very good! Recommended for you who are going to travel~

I cannot say enough about James who went above and beyond his quality service he provided for my daughter who is holidaying from Sydney. My daughter became ill and is physically unable to walk, without discomfort and also is part time in a wheel chair. I booked her room in an upstairs apartment, then my daughter became ill. I forgot to rebook a down stairs room for her as stairs was a no go. James was fully booked but managed to arrange guests so my daughter and her partner could have a convenient down stairs room for their stay. I am so grateful for James to be so patient, kind and considerate making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are spotless and super clean. Thankyou James for your 10/10 service I can not thank you enough.

Beautiful and quiet courtyard, complete kitchen facilities, and convenient living around. Especially the Korean bosses are warm and kind and responsible for their work. One day, my husband answered the phone in the yard, accidentally put his bag on the stool in the yard and left. Our passports, ID cards and other important things were all inside. Twenty minutes later, we found out that the bag was gone, and we were in a hurry. When the domestic epidemic was tense and international flights were cancelled again, we would be unable to move without a passport. We told the Korean boss about this, he asked about the situation, let us not worry. Ten minutes later, he delivered the bag to our room. There were a lot of passports and cash in the bag. We are very fortunate to book this hotel, and met this honest and kind Korean owner, who is away from home, this hotel is trustworthy. Call the owner!

I have been travelling for a few weeks across the country - staying at a different motor lodge every day - I stayed in Christchurch for the weekend before going to Hokitika- really clean and comfortable room - Kitchenette - spa bath and washing machine and tumble dryer -sky tv - only down side is limited Wifi ( have mentioned to motel regarding this as out of all other location not charged for wifi elsewhere- however the motel was so good I went and stayed again a week later before getting my flight. Locally there is a pub/restaurant and a choice supermarket and take aways
