The hotel and Resturant always live up to expectations. It’s one of the islands little secrets. Staff always helpful , welcoming and friendly . The individual Beef wellington is 10/10. Oh and a good selection of non-alcoholic wines and beers for those driving

A very good hotel and grounds which made for a relaxing stay. The food was of a vey high standard and good value for money. The hotel’s greatest asset though was their staff who, without exception, were friendly and accommodating.

Set in a quiet part of the island, the hotel is great for a peaceful escape. The hotel and grounds set a high standard and the food quality and service levels are excellent. Not the cheapest of hotels, but you’re paying for a special experience that’s worth every penny.

I did not enjoy my experience at Greenhills. It was dark inside and the table was long and narrow which did not enable a good family conversation. It is perhaps my failing that I did not realise it was ‘fine dining’ and therefore not really suitable for children. The food was bland and the portions were tiny. I left hungry after three courses. I did not want to pay £5 per head for the bread and butter. The children’s starter has a wilted salad and the their main, pasta, was completely uninteresting and ungarnished. Just a white pile of pasta. The most annoying thing was the children’s drinks. We ordered cordial and soda, as we always do in order to avoid high-sugar fizzy drinks. The waiter did not tell us that soda was not available on tap and instead, without checking, used 8x 50cl fever tree cans at £2.95 each to fill the pint glasses for the children, thus making a pint of cordial nearly £10 each - and we had 3! I thought this was a liberty too far and it just made me feel ripped off in the end. That’s not good customer service. And the tiny portions of tasteless food for the adults did nothing to redeem the place.

A wonderful experience from arrival until departure. The service and professionalism of all the staff was second to none. We chose Greenhills Country House Hotel for the location and peaceful setting. The decoration and cleanliness of the room we stayed in was exceptional.

It was everything perfect. We enjoed the stay in the hotel. The bedroom was so big, the bathroom too and clean as well. Breakfast 👌👍 also dinner. And the employees unique.

From the moment we arrived at Greenhills Country House Hotel, we knew we’d found the perfect place to stay on our first visit to the stunning island of Jersey. Approaching the hotel from the car park, you go through lovely, well-maintained gardens and as you enter the bar/reception area you immediately notice the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient, and soon showed us to our (beautiful, well-planned and extremely comfortable) room. We ate breakfast at the hotel each morning and also had Sunday lunch and an evening meal in the restaurant. Everything we ate was fabulous. The menus offered plenty of choice and the ingredients were clearly top quality, making for wonderful food prepared by talented chefs. The waiting staff were so friendly and the service was perfect - very attentive without ever being intrusive. The manager was also lovely, welcoming and friendly, as were the cleaning staff. All in all, we can’t praise the hotel and restaurant highly enough, and can’t wait to return.
