Stayed here we'll before the date shown but this has got to be, not only the worst hotel in Malta, but probably in Europe. Absolutely disgusting in every way. Would love to leave a minus rating. DON'T GO!

Just 450 metres from the seafront, Blue Sea Santa Maria Hotel is in Bugibba on the island of Malta. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, a sun terrace, and free Wi-Fi in public areas.
A sweet and savoury buffet breakfast is served daily, it consists of croissants, eggs, and cheeses. You can enjoy local and international cuisine at the on-site restaurant.
All rooms come with a balcony, a TV, and a cooling fan. They have an en suite bathroom with shower.
These properties strictly follow the recommendations set out by the Malta Tourism Authority as health and hygiene measures which, among other measures, and apart from Social Distancing include the following:-
Sanitizing units and Germicide units in all areas, Use of face masks by staff, Use of aprons by cleaning staff, Water treatment, Legionella tests and control of who uses lift/s and how many persons at a time. All properties are also equipped with Perspex fronts in Reception and all properties do regular disinfection of the cold water system.
The largest sandy beach is Ghadira, a little over 10 minutes’ by car from the property. Cirkewwa Ferry Port is a 20-minute drive away, from here you can take ferries to the smaller islands of Gozo and Comino.
