From the moment we walked into this venue, the staff are absolutely on point We arrived and were shown to our seat's The location is stunning, and as soon as we were seated, Natalie who we must give a mention was attentive, professional and funny she absolutely made our day, many thanks Natlie The afternoon tea arrived there was so much on one of the mini park benches I said thankyou this looks stunning She responded, "That's your wife's your's is coming next I can only say wow Tea and coffee was plentiful But the food was beautiful We do afternoon tea in many locations We truly can't recommend this high enough It truly is a 10 out of 10 For everything Finally I've got to say again the staff Are absolutely brilliant Many thanks to you all for making this a superb day

This was our 4th time at the south causey and still as lovely as the 1st time. Me and my husband try to come for special occasions as it can be a little pricey depending on what you are wanting however well worth the money in our eyes but this year we were given a voucher for Xmas for the courtyard room which we redeemed for valentines. No matter what room we have had we have loved each one and their own individual deco. From the start of our visit to the end no complaints. All the staff were lovely mention to Libby and Carlos in the bar for their lovely service throughout our afternoon/night. Loving the new layout in the bar area too. Can’t wait to go back closer to the summer where we can go to the outside bar for a drink too. Food was lovely large portions may I add, We even managed to leave our personalised lock on the fence they have created towards the side of the hotel on our departure. Thank you for our stay We will see you soon for another

Joel, you made the night. Welcoming and treating everyone kindly. This was a birthday celebration in Pod 3. Joel gave a lot of time whilst we decided our meals, popping back for drinks and having a laugh with us too. The food, a large variety all arrived together and it was very tasty, nothing wasted at all! Food cooked very well, the presentation of the pod was excellent, lovely decorations and styling and relatively warm considering it's January! If you can, book a pod, make it an evening (or night) worth remembering. And ask for Joel, he's great!

Really lovely food, staff and atmosphere - Luke and Bruno were really friendly and helpful!! Will definitely be coming back with family and friends. Would be lovely in the summer to sit outside The portions were really generous and the deserts were lovely

Absolutely brilliant place. Excellent location. we came down from Scotland and used it as a hub for going around the area visiting friends etc. Had a marvellous time. Lovely staff, food, and service and very clean. We will definitely be back.

We visited for a spot of Lunch. we were greeted at reception and shown to a table in the restaurant. We were served by Bruno who was amazing. from the time we arrived to when we left he made sure we were looked after. He was very polite and was very professional. he took time to have a chat and share a few little jokes to make sure our visit was an enjoyable one. We ordered The Corned Beef Pie for my wife and I opted for the Chicken Burger. After only a short wait our food arrived, It was cooked to perfection. The presentation was superb. Both Meals were of excellent standard and more than value for money. Both Meals were large and tasted amazing. Added to the service from Bruno this was a very enjoyable visit and will definitely be back.

We had an amazing meal here tonight, the staff are all lovely, very friendly and attentive. Food was really nice, big portions. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely, good music and cozy environment. The price is very good value for the amount of good quality food that is served. It’s all fresh home cooked food which is nice to see.

Lovely atmosphere, meal was amazing . Service was amazing as usual . Friendly & polite staff. One of the reason we keep returning . All my family come back time & again . Me & my husband even renewed our vows here so will always have a special place in my heart

Went for breakfast with my family, absolutely amazing. The food was all from the local area and my family all enjoyed it as well. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Colouring books were given to the children, a very lovely experience!

Afternoon tea for The Town Mayor Awards certainly didn’t disappoint. Tea and coffee flowed freely and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. Food was delicious but the quantity was huge. Thankfully they handed out takeaway boxes so it can be finished at home later. The cheese tarts were served warm, we had fruit and cheese scones and well as many sandwiches and cakes. Such a beautiful setting in one of the pods outside too. Heated beautifully even though it was cold outside.

Another fab night at South Causey for my great great niece’s 15 th birthday.. 16 of us and every thing was perfect ! Big shout out to Erin she was amazing ! Food was amazing as always . The pizza’s were fab!! The staff were brilliant ! Cannot recommend it enough!

A great stay for a friend’s wedding. Great amenities on site, loved seeing all of the animals. Very comfortable bed and cosy bedroom. All of the food was brilliant, it is worth a visit just for the restaurant! Great service from all of the staff. Thanks to Ethel for our lovely clean room.

Came for breakfast & greeted with a smile by the lovely Lucy & the reception girls who showed us to our table in the newly refurbished bar area. Served by the wonderful Libby, who took our order promptly & served our food after a short wait. Two Full English which were served hot & two teas which were accompanied with a small cake each. Breakfast was delicious & the refurbished bar area is a great improvement. Special mention to our server Libby who did a fantastic job.
