"I had the most wonderful time at Julian Life Goes On! Julian-san was so accommodating and friendly to me and my friend. He took us stargazing and taught us about the stars and how to take great pictures of Fuji san at night. The inn is so lovely and comfortable, and the tatami flooring and futon were very comfortable. If you're in the area, I suggest you check out Life Goes On, for a great experience!"

GGuest UserI traveled with a friend. We arrived late to the station and couldn't leave long. We managed to ask a man on the street to talk to the host (because he didn't know English). The host agreed to pick us up and take us away. He was very cheerful and fun. We are very grateful for help. The house itself was quite a little up the mountain, because of it the windows were the best view on Fuji. We were very lucky with the weather. The house is neat and very comfortable, in traditional Japanese style. In winter it is cool, but there are heaters everywhere and the room is quickly heated. Very clean and neat. Comfortable and soft mattresses, dark blankets. Sleeping on the foot is convenient. And breakfast with the view on Fuji is invaluable. In the future, the host helped us with different issues and we are very grateful for the opportunity to stop.

SSam SentshiHuge thanks to the incredibly hospitable owner! This guesthouse isn't too far from Lake Kawaguchiko or the train station. There's a 7-Eleven nearby and also a ramen shop (though it's always packed). The room was clean and tidy, and the AC worked great. Everyone staying here was really friendly. Love & Peace!

MMinth_The room is incredibly spacious with lots of room. It's super close to Kawaguchiko Station; we arrived in no time even with luggage. There's no traditional front desk, it's more like a self-check-in system where your booking name is posted right at the entrance. We got a downstairs room which was great because we didn't have to carry our bags up the stairs, but the view from upstairs might be better. There's a balcony where you can step out and see Mount Fuji directly. Unfortunately, it was snowing with fog and clouds when we visited, so we couldn't see anything. The bathroom is well-divided, but there's no bathtub. All the amenities are provided, and there's a shared washing machine too. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

AAltair Rey EmiaIt's a perfect location if you plan to stay in Kawaguchiko area. The staff are very polite and they will offer you onsen for free during upon checking in. The room is very spacious and clean, they also have a bike rental for 500 yen per day.

MMilo013The old gentleman at the reception was very kind and sweet. We figured he was the owner. He only waits until 10 PM, then he goes to bed to rest. The hotel closes at 10 PM and reopens at 6 AM, so make sure to arrange your arrival/departure times beforehand if you need to come and go between those hours. We couldn't use the bathhouse. The room was really nice, with clean tatami mats, comfortable and warm futons, and clean, soft blankets. Each floor has a hot water dispenser, cups, and a trash can. The atmosphere is very pleasant, we recommend it!

EEmmanuel chan 8One of the characteristics of a traditional hot spring hotel is that the shower time is from 4 to 9 o'clock. If you don't pay attention, it will be awkward.
Among other things, the food is quite good and relatively average, but it is more difficult to communicate.
The hotel is relatively remote and there is no shuttle, but it is probably one of the hotels closest to Lake Kawaguchi. You can walk to Lake Kawaguchi in 3 minutes. The scenery is beautiful and you can see Mount Fuji directly.
