It was easy to locate the hotel as I was arriving from NU Sentral, and the check in was quick. The room was tiny, but fine for a short stay. The toilet was clean, but if I have to add something not so pleasant it would be the vent/drainage seems to constantly emit a faint, foul odour.

The room was clean and neat. The AC was good, so was the water heater. The day time receptionist was cordial and nice. When I had a leaking sink in the bathroom, the night time receptionist changed my room immediately. Thank you for that. Good location since there are many eateries nearby the hotel.

The hotel is just a few steps away from the Exhibition Hall, Times Square, Bukit Bintang, and Petaling Street. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is located next to the main road and since we were on the second floor we could hear the noise from the street. The room was clean and tidy, but a bit uncomfortable. We had the republic dinner at the pavilion and there was a good selection of food.

- Brand new hotel, everything is clean and new. - We book 3pax (family) room, very spacious and the view is nice. - Comfy bed, quite room, friendly staff. - In Petaling Street area but away from the market, thus is quite. - Very convenient, MRT, LRT, restaurants, cafes... all within walking distance. - Free tea in room by downstairs tea house (same management). - Not included breakfast, but who eat in a hotel if you are staying in Petaling Street. - You can go up to the rooftop to have a nice view of the city and Merdeka 118, just hope there will be some seating area and shades in the future, its such a good place to chill (in the evening).

I am here solely for the convenient location to Pavilion Bukit Jalil (PBJ) that's just right opposite REVO, and the free shuttle bus from PBJ to Awan Besar LRT station. They have a pleasant BBQ area, a gym and a beautiful swimming pool at the top though. The room I stayed has no washing machine, and minimal cooking utensils. No plug point at the table area. Don't be picky about the room if you want to stay here. :)

SSafiqahReally a nice place for travellers! All the necessities are there and the place is clean (really important). There’s shoe rack to place our shoes and we wear the slippers provided by them. For muslimah, there’s surau near the bathroom facilities. Really convenient. There’s pantry over here, and Breakfast provided. Got books and swimming pool too if you guys wanna fill your time with. Near the mall, food, train, etc as it really located inside the city. So far the people here behave. As long as we respect each other, everything’s good. Considering this place for my next trip! Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!

GGuest UserThis is my go-to accommodation every time I come to Kuala Lumpur. The place is very close to the KLCC Twin Towers, just about a 2-minute walk away. The Vertex building is a luxurious property with central air conditioning, so the temperature is always perfect—not too cold or too warm. It also feels very secure. The common area is large, like two big rooms, and all the materials and furnishings are super premium and very nice. The breakfast isn't my favorite, but it's still okay. The price of a dorm bed is similar to that of a hotel room a little further out, like in Chinatown, but the dorm room here is also very premium and spacious. You don’t feel like you're in a dorm—you still have your own privacy

GGuest UserI have started to stay at this hotel since it was built several years ago. And I even gave excellent review due to the location, cleanliness, service etc. But my last stay at July 2022 was the worst ever stay and I won't return. To start with the review, let see the room,I was assigned at room 201, it is dirty and the door lock has been broken and nobody change the new one, then I have to request another room. They put me on fifth floor room 501, this room window screen is broken and it can not be pulled up so the room was dark forever. Then the towels, look at the pictures that I attach in my review, torn and it is a shame, how can the management let those simple things happen. If the pandemic situation made them unable to change new ones, then how much does the cost for towels? The housekeeping will clean your room after 4 PM, and I have requested to clean it earlier, but they said they have a lot of rooms to clean and got only one housekeeping staff. The worst thing about fifth floor was the ***********. There are two or three rooms at fifth floor infested with longterm stay of *********** inside the room (room 502). Man coming in and out the room brought by a fat chinese guy and the girl standing with bikini at door to welcome the guests. I will never return to this hotel at all, except all those *********** have moved out.

IIBRAHIM إِبۡرَاهِيمَ 依布拉欣- Check-in Process: Needs to be faster. Too much data entry is required by the receptionist, even though everything was submitted and paid for online. Guests are tired and want to rest immediately, so the process should be quicker. - Room Key Issue: The check-in took almost 15-20 minutes, and the room key didn’t work, I had to return to the lobby again to get a replacement! - Deposit: A RM 20 cash deposit is required, which is inconvenient. In the era of e-wallets, most people don’t carry cash anymore; this should be eliminated. - Room Size: The room is small but equipped with basic facilities and safety box. - Power Outlet: The room has 1x standard local 3-pin/UK power outlet by the bed, 1x international power outlet next to the study table. - The Superior Queen room has excellent soundproofing, even though it faces the outside window, and the window allows plenty of natural light. - The air conditioning provides good cooling. - Hair dryer & water heater is available. Ironing board + iron outside of the room in the hallway. - I appreciate the bed lighting, which can be dimmed without the main light being too bright, making it comfortable for both sleeping and working. - There’s a study table, and the room comes with instant coffee and drinking water. - WiFi: The WiFi is fast for online conference & social media access. - Prayer Space: There's a kiblat sign, and although the space is tight, there's just enough room to pray without having to do so on the bed. - There is a lift. - Toiletries: Basic toiletries provided: bottled soap and shampoo. No toothbrush though. - Dining: There’s a mamak restaurant on the ground floor. The staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious and served hot. You should try their nasi lemak with hot fried chicken. - Bonus: Choose windowed rooms so you can watch people savouring their Malaysian food and chatting in the restaurant downstairs.

IIvan Gutierrez Jr.This is a practical ”budget” Malaysian Chinese hotel with no frills (only the essentials) located on the main nerve in Chinatown... Jalan Sultan. But don't let the online price fool you. The hotel management has standards. There is a friendly guy from Burma making sugar cane juice (air tebu) right in front of the hotel. I've been his customer for 2 years. Up/down the street and in the alleys are local style kopi shops, char siew + siew yoke stalls, wan tan mee production, Ray's Power Corner, plenty of vendors selling almost everything imaginable and places to eat. One place you must try EVERYDAY!! is Coco's Mee Tarik Jalan Sultan at the end of the road (Chinese Halal). One thing I get at Hotel Nan Yeang that I do not get at other hotels for the same price: a spacious balcony with a spectacular view of Warison Merdeka 118. So the room doesn't feel like a box. I walk out onto the balcony and see the newly built skyscraper upfront, close and personal. I don't know if this is a building or a rocket or a spaceship with lasers. That is how many features this structure has!! The two managers on staff are too lovely women, Ms. Chong❤️ and Ms. Eng❤️ who oversee the operations of the hotel. They make sure that the air conditioning units in the rooms are cleaned regularly. And they keep up with painting the rooms and corridors. Speaking of housekeeping... it is good enough... nice women from Indonesia... but they could do a more thorough job. A deeper clean. I've been here long enough to see the types of customers that check-in and how dirty they leave the rooms. I've never seen anything like it in the civilized world. A developing country is still considered civilized. Lastly, the front desk staff is very warm and friendly (and they put up with me which is a bonus) What more could you ask for?? ⭐️⭐️⭐️THE BEST BUDGET 2 STAR HOTEL THAT I HAVE FOUND TO DATE. I'VE BEEN VERY HAPPY HERE FOR 5 MONTHS ⭐️⭐️⭐️

7768maddiebAlthough this hostel has comfortable beds with good curtains, it is highly unhygienic and we would not stay here again. It may be very cheap but that doesn't excuse the lack of basic cleanliness. There are 5 rooms per floor with on average 6 people per room. Which could imply that there are 30 people using the same communal bathroom per floor. We noticed that the bathroom had not been cleaned in two days and was found to be in revolting state with rubbish on the floor and nail clippings and hair from people shaving left in the sink for days. There were strange substances on the shower floor and I felt it necessary to shower with my flip-flops on. There was no toilet paper in the toilet and human excrement spread up the back of the toilet and left there. Furthermore there is no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands after using the toilet. We can only assume that the staff are also not washing their hands before handling food at breakfast. The staff provide you with shampoo and body wash when you arrive and tell you that you can return it for a refill. However, when asked for soap they said they didn't have any. On the first night when we got back to the hostel, we noticed that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. We asked for it to be cleaned and nothing was done. The following morning after noticing that it was still filthy, we asked again and they told us they would have someone look at it. By lunchtime it had reached an appauling state as it still had not been cleaned. I had to request to speak to a manager who told me to wait for five minutes. I am outraged at the blatant lack of care that the staff show people. After speaking to the manager, the toilets and sinks were cleaned but the showers were not until we asked again. At this stage they swept the floor with a brush and that was all. The room is smelly as it has no access to fresh air. The breakfast is basic with bread available to toast served on paper plates and tea or coffee in paper cups. The disregard for the current climate crisis is unacceptable, it is such a waste. All due to the laziness of the staff here. Furthermore when packing away breakfast, they do not wash the knives that everyone in the hostel has used, they wipe it with toilet roll and use it again the next day. We asked if we could wash our refillable water bottle and they told us that there was no sink and to wash it in the bathroom. This is highly concerning as we fear there is no way for them to wash the knives and bread container that the breakfast is served in. The girl behind the desk has an incredibly unnecessary poor attitude. We watched a gentleman arrive to breakfast at 10.01 and ask for more bread to toast. She stood up to get him some, realised the time and told him smuggly 'it's past 10'. She seemed to get great enjoyment out of starting to pack breakfast away immediately in front of him. Finally we were disappointed on arrival to discover that there is in fact no pool table at this hostel as is adve

GGuest UserThis is the worst hotel I ever stayed in KL. My room no.11 was the appalling; the cigarette smell was trapped inside the room without a window. I had to take cold shower for two days because the pipes were leaky. Poor service right from checking in to checking out. I will never come back again to stay. Very low room rate offered, not worth your time to check in. Great disappointment!

SShaxrinCertainly! Here's the revised review: --- **Hotel Name:** Hotel City Bukit Bintang **Rating:** ★★★★☆ **Review Title:** A Delightful Stay with a Few Minor Hiccups **Review:** I recently spent four nights at Hotel City Bukit Bintang, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The lobby is beautifully decorated, with a modern yet cozy ambiance that immediately puts you at ease. **Room:** I stayed in a Deluxe City View room, and the view of the bustling Bukit Bintang district was both vibrant and captivating. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a good night’s sleep. However, the air conditioning was a bit noisy at times, which could be a minor annoyance for light sleepers. **Facilities:** The hotel boasts several amenities, including a rooftop pool with stunning views of the city skyline, which quickly became my favorite spot to relax. The poolside service was excellent, with staff always available to bring drinks or snacks. The fitness center was well-equipped, though a bit on the smaller side. I also had the chance to enjoy the spa, where I received a fantastic massage. The spa facilities are top-notch, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. **Dining:** There are multiple dining options at Hotel City Bukit Bintang, ranging from casual cafes to more formal dining experiences. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of options, including fresh fruit, pastries, and made-to-order omelets. The rooftop restaurant is a must-visit, offering delicious dishes with a breathtaking view of the city. My only critique would be that the room service menu was somewhat limited, especially late at night. **Service:** The service throughout my stay was generally excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any requests. I did encounter a small issue with housekeeping, as my room wasn’t cleaned until late in the afternoon on one of the days. However, this was quickly rectified after a call to the front desk. **Location:** The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Bukit Bintang, close to several shopping centers, restaurants, and popular tourist sites. The lively street life and accessibility to public transportation make it an ideal spot for both leisure and business travelers. **Overall:** Hotel City Bukit Bintang offers a luxurious, relaxing experience with beautiful surroundings and attentive service. While there were a few minor issues, they didn’t significantly detract from my stay. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore the vibrant Bukit Bintang area and would consider staying here again on my next visit. --- Let me know if you'd like any further adjustments!
