Find 2-Star Hotels in Istanbul

I stayed here in February 2020 for 4 nights together with a friend. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk away from the nearest sightseeing places located in the historic part of the city. Even nearer to the hotel there are groceryshops, bars, parks and restaurants. Keeping in mind the little money you pay for your stay, you can't really complain. Eventhough, I'd like to see some changes. Since the bathroom is really small, the whole bathroom actually is the shower. Everything gets wet, so there's not really a good place to leave your towel and cloths which you obviously want to keep dry. Maybe a few hooks or hanging baskets will be a good addition. There was 1 hook though, but it was very small and broken. (see picture of toilet, there a small cabinet next so the width is about 1,20 M en the same goes for the depth. The shower is on the right wall, infront of the cabinet) It also takes a very long time for the bathroom to dry. The water isn't stopped bij a small shower edge or something and theres nothing to wipe the water with, which left us with only one option: Shower in the evenings and leave the window in the bathroom open so it will be dry by the time it's morning. Not idealic at all, considering we where staying here during the winter. Also we had to share a socket during the night to charge our phones. It would be great if there were more of them. These are all small 'complaints' so it's not too bad. Especially for the money you pay. There's one thing left I'd like to warn you for: the sounds. The hotel is very noisy. You can hear other people very well and unfortunatly we had some people staying in the hotel that didn't take this into account. Because of the noisyness, you'll also be able to hear the mosques very loudly in the early mornings, so if you don't want to, bring some earplugs. Despite of the few negatives, I myself would stay here again and so would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheap hotel near the old city centre.

This hotel was absolutely a solo travellers dream come true for the very first solo travel. It was so easy, so navigatable, very close to the galata tower and walkable distance from the karaköy port too. The check in process was quick, the room was also amazingly clean, the view from the room was also gorgeous. The bed was super comfortable and I had no trouble falling asleep at all. I chose the room with 6 female beds. I’m not disappointed at all. It’s a great way to make new friends and explore the city!

I love this hotel I stay here first time 2 nights for take a rest of weekend and I’m so impressed they take care details stuffed in room towel smell so good hotel so clean staff very nice and design modern good I love everything , I will come again next time recommend you guys have to booking this hotel ✨

The room was beautiful and wonderful, and it was big, and close to the airport, the staff were very nice, and I arrived at midnight, and they greeted me and showed me the room to choose one of the rooms that was very clean, the bathroom was also added, and there was no noise at night, everything was beautiful, I hope I'll come back to the hotel.

one of the most comfortable experiences I have ever had. Kind loving and caring people. Cost effective safe and secure hotel which is a bit away from the center but if you get used to public transport and love to explore this is the place to be. I have no complaints. Thier morning breakfast was amazing and the staff who served it were even better than that.

The staff are so lovely and helpful. There was a receptionist in particular that I want to thank but I didn’t manage to get his name, he went out of his way to help us with an incident to do with our bins (our own fault) and I can’t thank him enough for the help he gave us! The cleaners are amazing and so friendly. In particular there was a cleaner called yasar who made our room Pristine and was such a happy, friendly man! From start to finish the stay with perfect. The breakfast that was included was also amazing! Thankyou for our stay

I just stayed at this hotel for 3 days, it is all brand new. Location is perfect, near Galata tower but you dont hear any noise. Everything is so clean and modern, comfy beds, i slept well:) Since hotel is brand new, roof toop terace for breakfast will be ready within the month. At the moment breakfast is served in the neighboring hotel on their roof top terace which was not a problem. Excellent staff, especially Samit who was very kind and helpful :) I would definitly return to this hotel

Airport to the hostel: if you arrive at Istanbul Airport ”IST”. You are just a bus 🚍 ride away, no ” Uber 📱🚖 or any other taxi needed”. In July 2023. It only costed me a 139 Turkish Lira to reach the Taksim Square. Location: From Taksim Square the hostel is about 10 minutes walking 🚶👣🚶 distance. When we arrived the gentleman ”Seyf” who welcomed us at the reception was too kind to offer us locker area to keep our luggage and invited us for breakfast as a complimentary one 🙂 Gamze - she is equally adorable and super helpful staff there. I don't recall all the names but I was impressed with every single wabi sabi team's hospitality, politeness and never to forget smile 😊 The morning breakfast is good and perfect for us to interact with other fellow travellers on the roof top. The talk during breakfast helped us ot to plan our day in Istanbul. I highly recommend.

Istanbul was amazing with breathtaking views, excellent cuisines and friendly atmosphere. Liked · This is now my second stay at Dosso Dossi and was the first place on my mind when my wife said she wanted to see Istanbul. The location central enough and we Used to stroll into SultanAhmed and Grand bazaar area within 20 minutes. The staff were excellent and were always willing to help. The hotel Is located next to a Metro and train station which can get you all around Istanbul. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good enough for me as additional food and is provided if required. Room service was very efficient and the cleaning lady was excellent and always Friendly and with a big smile on her face. All the staff were very helpful in organising the transfers to the airport and for information on how to get to various sites and different districts of Istanbul. We had found a suitable Hamam online prior to our journey and the staff were more than happy to phone up the Hamam and make bookings for arrangements for us. Ogun on reception front Desk was more than helpful and went above and beyond making sure our visit to Istanbul was memorable. Left feeling like they were all part of my family. Disliked · For me it was fine but the frosted glass door’s on the shower room Could be embarrassing for those travelling with family or siblings.
