It's a good hotel. It's friendly and the rooms are clean. Some rooms have old air conditioners, so if you want to change rooms if it's hot, they'll change it right away. The value for money is the best.

I have stayed in a number of hotels in Hanoi but this is the best thus far. It is a triple room and has things provided like a 5 star hotel room (eg. bath robes, magnifying mirror, bathtub, hair band, etc.) and the rate is very good. The breakfast is a good variety of food and it is sumptuous. However, need to cross the road to another building for breakfast. Next time I will book a room in that building instead. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay in this hotel again.

The hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle, which was very convenient. The restaurants nearby were delicious and the hotel also had a great selection of food. The furnishings were modern and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge service was great and they were able to help me with anything I needed. Definitely recommend Mango Hotel to anyone looking for a quality stay in Hanoi.

It takes about 30 minutes if it is crowded in about 20 minutes by taxi to the old town. It takes about 20 minutes on foot to Lotte Mart, but it takes more time if you are not used to crossing the road. There are few restaurants nearby. There is no convenience store. The room is large and the suitcase can be spread. There was a bathtub and the water pressure was sufficient. We stayed for 2 nights with 3 people, but for some reason we got 9 bottles of water. Breakfast is at the lowest required and you can get * dishes and pho. The seasoning felt a bit thin. They kept my luggage even after checking out, and it's a little inconvenient when I go to the city, but it's enough to sleep and stay.

I stayed in this friendly place for a month. Polite staff, delicious breakfasts and a very homely atmosphere. Toilets are clean, showers too. The house itself, in which the hostel is located, resembles a French house from Provence. A nice lady at the reception will come to your help at any time of the day, concerning life in the hostel, and will also help you navigate in Hanoi. As I already wrote, the hostel provides delicious breakfasts, which are served every morning in the lobby - breakfasts are very full, so you will not go hungry. Also, upon request, they can prepare lunch or dinner for you, and you can also use the bar. In addition to food and drinks, the hostel provides laundry services, you can rent a bike or bicycle, and you can also order various tours of Hanoi and the suburbs of Hanoi. I was on a tour of Hanoi from the hostel; I was satisfied with everything; I learned more about the city. Overall, the hostel is suitable for both short-term and long-term stays - both the location and the services, as well as the attractive prices. I will recommend it to my friends and acquaintances.

GGuest UserThis is a small family-owned hotel. We reserved a room with two beds, but were initially offered one with a one bed. We had to ask for a room change, which may have often happened from reviews of other people. The two-bed room was somewhat large and clean. Amenities were basic. Bathroom was a bit challenging: we did not dare take a shower, but my child did and said it was okay. Toilet had no problem. Hot water was readily accessible. Breakfast was personally cooked and nicely done with egg, buttered bread, and some vegetables (tea was nice). The family seems to raise a herd of chickens. Very early in the morning after perhaps 6 AM or even before, a rooster crowed for about two hours every 30 second, and we had to be up. Well, it is nature and I have no complaint about this. The hotel views a big open field where the chicken herd as well as horses was enjoying the meal. Best part was that we were able to walk to the hotel and took about 15 minutes from the international terminal, although it was a bit treacherous along the way. Getting across a wide street without any signal was a challenge, like any other in Vietnam. It was okay after we got used to it. Nothing much around the hotel. The Hanoi Airport, unlike Saigon, has really nothing in the neighborhood. I think for one night, this hotel may be okay esp. for early flights.
TTrip51141111579Spent 5 hours here as my flight from London arrived into Hanoi at 5am and I couldn’t check in at my hotel till 12pm. Cost $57nzd. Brilliant concept. The pod was clean, had fan and aircon. The receptionist was very helpful and spoke some English, the toilets near the pod hotel were very clean and little used. The pod was good as I could go for a walk and leave my luggage locked in the pod. The receptionist even changed some big notes I’d got from the money machine downstairs to smaller denominations (essential for tipping in Vietnam). The hotel is located on level 2, up the escalator, at the far end of that floor. Nb the hotel is landside not airside so you have to get a Vietnam visa to clear immigration. The instructions sent by the hotel say you have to ‘clear security’. OBVIOUSLY this means immigration. The hotel is located landside NOT airside. Anyone with any commonsense can tell this. To enter Vietnam you have to get an online visa and you can find the link to this on the Sherpa travel website. This takes a couple of days to process and is not an arduous task as it’s all done online. So the reviewers who were only transitting Vietnam and booked the hotel and didn’t get the visa, so couldn’t go landslide, to use the pod hotel need to do a little MORE homework before they leave home. Just saying.
JJagtish RajendranComfortable Stay but Cat Smell in the Corridor
I recently stayed at Hanoi Lane Homestay and had a mostly pleasant experience. The location is excellent, tucked away in the busy streets of Old Quarters, close to the main attractions. The room was clean and cozy, offering a great sense of privacy. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
However, one downside was the strong smell of cats in the corridor, which was quite noticeable every time I walked to my room. It didn’t affect the room itself, but it was a bit unpleasant when passing through. If you're sensitive to odors, this might be an issue.
Overall, it’s a decent stay for the price, with great service and a convenient location, but the smell in the corridor is something to keep in mind.

GGuest UserThe slippers that were provided for walking around the room was too loud, where it is difficult to be quiet when walking around in them. The husband is also uptight in not letting people eat in the dining area but outside which I can understand and could go along with, because they don't want the guest to leave garbage or get their table dirty, but they need to at least leave a garbage can outside so the guest don't have to leave it on the ground. I didn't like how I couldn't find a place to throw my ice cream wrapper away when I ate it outside and had to end up throwing it in the garbage of another person's place.
I also didn't like the location of how it was out of the city center where it wasn't near any grocery stores or open fruit and vegetable, and meat markets. Just by a bunch of restaurants some being a bunch of aggressive jerks sitting outside waiting for bystanders to walk by where they try to aggressively approach you to get you to eat at their restaurant. I need a place where I can use a kitchen to cook food for myself. I don't need to eat out every day.
These owners are a bit shady at times in that when I did came in early where it was not time for me to check in where I was willing to wait until my room is ready, their son had the nerve to try to make a few bucks off me in that if I pay them a few bucks, I can have my room before the check in time which was a bit tacky. The husband didn't give me very good advice when he told me that staying at this place is good for going into the city center and coming back, which it isn't for me, because I have to take the bus 1 hour and 45 minutes to the city center which is a longways. What lousy advice for my situation like he was trying to convince me to stay longer just so that they can make more money off of me. This was a little tacky too. Good for them, but not good for me.
I also didn't like how they send my clothing to a cleaner when I thought they were going to wash it in their washer and hang it up on their clothesline on their top floor. Not only that, but the cleaners lost my dress pants in the process or probably even stoled it and kept it for themselves and not really telling me the truth. I told them about this and they said that the cleaners who they sent it to didn't know what happen to it. The owners were even trying to try to lie a little bit by saying that I never gave them a dress pants for them to wash which is a bunch of ********.
They could have just let me use their washer where I could have used my own detergent to wash my clothing and hang it up to dry on their clothesline on the rooftop of their place where I would have paid them for it. For all I know these cleaners that they sent my clothing to for them to wash could be their friend and they are trying to help give their friends the business for any of their guests that has laundry for them to use. These cleaners are probably a bunch of thieves for all I know that probably looked through guests clothing for things that are valuable which they take and pretend that they don't know anything about it when the guests inquire of it. This is another shady tactical thing that they are probably doing as well.
I even asked them if they could compensate me which would not have amounted to much which they had refused. They didn't even have the nerve to apologize to me but to only lie to me by telling me ******** that the cleaners who they sent guests clothing to never lose any of their clothing which is a bunch of ********. All of this could have been avoided had they either let me use their washer or they wash it for me in their washer where I would have paid them. Do not trust these people with your clothing!!!!
IIlaha BalakishiyevaWe had a wonderful experience at this hotel, primarily due to its fantastic location. Being close to all the major attractions meant we could explore on foot without the need for taxis. The self check-in and check-out process added to the convenience, making our stay hassle-free.The room was clean and comfortable, providing a nice retreat after a day of sightseeing. One highlight was the hotel's airport pick-up/drop service, which we arranged through WhatsApp. It was both smooth and cost-effective.However, do note that two rooms share one bathroom, which might be a consideration for some. Despite this, the value for the price we paid was unbeatable.

CChicoRanManSpent three nights at this hotel in the Cathedral District of Hanoi. We were very pleased wit the reception staff. They spoke good English and were helpful. Great location within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, banks and the post office. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were comfortable. Our spacious room was in the 5th floor which was a bit of a climb with no elevator but the view from the long balcony was choice. WiFi in the room was good. Our only complaint was that the temperature control in the shower was poor. Either too hot or cold. We would definitely stay here again.

5520burtoncMy family were looking for a comfortable and well located hotel for our last 2 nights in Vietnam. I have chosen the Silverland Yen Hotel mainly due to its modern design and I was not disappointing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to HCMC, cozy place, warm staffs and reasonable price. There were only two issues should be reminded that the restaurant here was small and a little crowded. In addition, the roof top pool was quite small and exquisite but it was clean and relaxing as well.

IIwa1608It's 10 seconds walk from the intersection of the Old Quarter, very good to play in the old town. It is necessary to be careful because the hotel signboard remains ”ibiz city hostel” which was the previous hotel name regardless of the famous Marriott hotel. At night, the street on the table is noisy, and the 1 floor is more noisy at the bar for foreigners. It is the center of the dormitory, but there is also a family room. However, the family mule is 2 floor ~, so the noise hits directly. No elevator. The employees are very kind, but at night they seemed to be busy at the bar and at the travel agency in the daytime. The family room had a refrigerator and electric pot, but there is no security BOX. There is also a set of amenities, but there is no replenishment such as shampoo and no bottled water service. The shower is difficult to adjust, but hot water comes out properly. There is no bathtub. It was breakfast, but there were many delicious shops around, so I didn't use it.

GGuest UserIt was pretty good experience for me. Because they have a coffee shop upstair which run by young people of Hanoi, very nice people. Without booking this hotel, i would never knew them. The people here are warm, also if you are tourist, you need to aware that the front main door of the hotel is closed before mid night. I think which is cool somehow with proper security but the disadvantage is you can't come back hotel anytime, altought you can, it very bad feeling to wake the security guy up everytime. the price is very suitable and its on the way to High way and town, great location not so far from town and not so close.
