__M1377783****This was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at during my business trip this week. It boasts a spacious room of over 80 square meters, and the facilities are new. Although it just opened in 2024, any lingering 'new hotel' smell has mostly dissipated. The front desk staff were also polite and quite professional. The breakfast, however, was just so-so. Many hotels nowadays cut corners by offering pre-made or long-shelf-life frozen food. While not exceptional, their breakfast was still a cut above the usual mediocre offerings. I hope they can improve it.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel environment is excellent, and the service attitude is great. The rooms are very spacious, and the TV supports screen mirroring. It's very close to attractions, right next to Yuexiu Park, and just a short walk to the subway and bus stations. It's really good.

**Location:** It's super close to the pedestrian street; you just cut through Shufang Street to get there. You'll find great food like Da Ge Fan and Yinji Changfen nearby. It's also only a 6-minute walk to Gaodi West Shoe Street, where you can find various shoe styles at reasonable prices.
**Service:** The front desk service was excellent! The staff, especially the ladies at the front desk, were incredibly patient and answered all my questions, no matter how trivial. Housekeeping was impeccable every day, and they always refilled the water bottles generously.
The hotel breakfast had a good selection, including freshly made noodle soup.
When checking out, the front desk even gave me a free fridge magnet.
Overall, a five-star rating! I'll definitely be back next time.

GGuest UserBooked 4 non smoking rooms with this property. Read from the review that some non-smoking rooms have a strong cigarette smell. But I don't have experience with the 4 rooms. Breakfast is decent. 2 restaurants are located at level 2 and 3. The property is located near xihua street where you can find a lot of food and dessert. Ximenkou station is a 10 minute walk to this property.
Cons
During our early check out, we wanted to keep our luggage in the hotel and collect it later. We asked the counter staff a lady with glasses and acne on her face, is there any tags issue to us when we collect our luggage, she is just being unhelpful and not interested in replying to us.

AAnonymous UserThe front desk staff showed excellent hospitality. Despite the language barrier, they made the effort to use a translator to communicate, which was much appreciated. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the Nanzhou MTR station which links to many attractions in Guangzhou. Breakfast could be improved, but overall it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

GGuest UserStayed here for 6 nights. The hotel is relatively far from the closest metro station - ximenkou. You have to walk for at least 8-10mins to get to this hotel. On the first day bring some checked luggage to this hotel from ximenkou metro. The exit A has no complete escalator and you have to carry your heavy bags for flights of steps. However exit D can bring you to the top of the road with an escalator but you got to cross the roads to the hotel direction. The walkway from the ximenkou metro exit A to the hotel was relatively dark and quiet and certain parts of the walkway were wet and dirty. The hotel location is at the junction making it hard to catch a didi if you wish to take a hired car. The driver was not able to stop at the hotel entrance and at one point the driver even just simply stopped at the traffic light and we had to quickly run to his car when the traffic light was a coincidence in red. It was quite dangerous having to say there were lots of cars and EV bikes driving recklessly. The room we booked was a basic one and we were given a room that.considered small for 6 nights. We cannot open our both checked in luggage at the same time. The room was fully equipped with all the necessities. Strong aircon. Strong shower. Huge king bed and huge TV with lots of channels and certain free android box movies. The housekeeper will clean your room daily but we found out that the cleaning was inconsistency with one day, one of our disposable shoes was discarded and no replacement given till the other next day was replaced when another round of housekeeping. The hotel staff can be more friendly and smiley when they see us. One of the staff can't even recall that we have been staying at the hotel for nearly 4 days. The overall stay was ok until we requested the hotel to book the taxi for us to the Baiyun airport during the early hours at 4am. We were informed that we should only pay 150 yuan for the 3 persons with 3 checked in luggage. We were also informed that the hotel reception would give us a morning call at 350am but we received none. And upon reaching the airport, the taxi driver asked us to pay 191 yuan!!! We would think it was a miscommunication between the hotel reception and the taxi driver as the taxi driver kept telling us the hotel staff did not inform him the fixed price agreed at 150 yuan. We actually felt scammed by this. Eventually we settled with 170 yuan but it left us a bad impression about Guangzhou. The reason we booked the taxi from the hotel was we needed to catch the taxi by 4am early in the morning and we were worried we were unable to get a taxi at that wee hours from the Didi apps. The Didi apps self booking apps only cost us around 60-70 yuan if we booked the taxi by ourselves. We didn't mind paying for 150 as being told in the first place!. Moral of the story, DO NOT book thru the hotel or MUST confirm the price again and again with the hotel reception before booking.

Ggiggs11The hotel is easy to find and very clean, with neat and tidy hallways. The room smells fresh, and you need to use a key card to access the elevators, which feels secure. There was one service experience that exceeded my expectations: I couldn't figure out how to use the TV, so I called the front desk. To my surprise, a staff member came directly to my room to help me fix it! Haha, thank you!

CCpwangThe front desk service was excellent, and the location is ideal. We drove here and enjoyed the free parking – parking fees in Guangzhou are usually very expensive, with tourist spots often charging 5-16 yuan per hour. Parking at the hotel and taking the subway was incredibly convenient. Line 2 is right outside, as is the impressive Museum of the Nanyue King. To the left of the hotel is Yuexiu Park; walking through it brings you to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. Chen Clan Ancestral Hall and Beijing Road Pedestrian Street are also just a subway ride away.

MM885360****Our stay was absolutely perfect! The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was just the right firmness – very cozy. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around. The staff were attentive and warm-hearted, which really helped to melt away the fatigue from our travels. We'll definitely be returning!
