【Personalized Care】Attentive butler service: Anything I needed, I just told the front desk and they would accommodate. When I came back tired, asking for a cup of ice for my drink was especially refreshing.
The place was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. I've been in Yunnan for several days, and this place offers the best value for money. They even have an oxygen concentrator."

HHikingfordaysAn amazing stay here at the Manor as we hiked the Tiger Leaping Gorge trail, and our favourite stay during our whole trip to Yunnan . The staff were so helpful, extending to organising transport everywhere we went, lending us walking sticks, picking us up and making sure our bags made their way onto our bus on departure. Our room was pristine with high quality linen, immaculate fittings and lovely personal touches. The setting was serene and beautiful, and we found the area much better than around Halfway Guesthouse, which at the time we walked through was full of construction and not much nature around. The view from the hotel’s restaurant was stunning, and the food at every meal was delicious (try the fish for dinner you won’t regret it!). Breakfast provided was also perfect. I can definitely stay this is a must stay hotel for any trip doing the Tiger Leaping Gorge trail. Thank you!

小小鱼谦谦Booked two rooms, one for my parents and one for myself. The front desk staff was super friendly and even upgraded one of our rooms to a room with a view! And he was pretty handsome too, haha! 😂
The guesthouse is very quiet and comfortable, with great interior design and it's quite clean. For the price, it's really excellent value for money. My Malaysian friend highly recommended it because it has a bidet, which is a must-have for some! 😂
It's within walking distance to the ancient town, and there are also some bars and snack shops nearby. I really love Shangri-La and will definitely be back. I also tried the 'Toast Feast,' saw Napa Lake, and visited Songzanlin Temple – it was a truly satisfying trip!

BbobqianThis hotel was the highlight of our Shangri-La trip, making up for the bad mood caused by the rainy weather. The location is excellent – just outside the East Gate, next to the People's Court and opposite a hospital, which is where the shuttle buses depart for all the attractions. Everything is very close by, which is great. There are also many restaurants in the surrounding area, and parking is free.
The hotel facilities are on par with those of well-known budget chain hotels. The oxygen supply is excellent and ample, and for extended stays, the hotel even provides nasal cannulas.
The service is truly outstanding, from Mr. Yixi who picked us up at the station, to the front desk staff, and the breakfast service team – everyone was incredibly thoughtful. They really go above and beyond to anticipate and fulfill guests' needs, as if they’re constantly worried about guests being unhappy. We were concerned about altitude sickness, and Mr. Yixi shared tips from locals, so we went to the pharmacy and bought some oral solution. We hiked 6 kilometers in Pudacuo without needing a single breath of oxygen. The breakfast was quite rich, comparable to some other popular chains.
They even gave us a small gift when we checked out, which was a lovely touch.

The room was spotlessly clean, no strange smells, and the bedding was comfortable, so I got a great night's sleep. The host was incredibly genuine and patiently answered all my questions, unlike some places where they're unresponsive. Overall, it felt very cozy, just like staying at a relative's house – none of that stiff hotel feeling. The price was also reasonable, offering great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area, genuinely recommend it to everyone.

The guesthouse itself is stunning, with thoughtful decor that's perfect for photos. It's quiet, comfortable, and a joy to stay in.
What truly impressed me were the owners; they are incredibly kind, warm, attentive, and meticulous. It felt just like staying with friends.
The breakfast was also super delicious, clean, and plentiful – truly homemade taste.
If you're visiting Haba Village or traveling the Shangri-La loop, this place is a no-brainer. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserI highly recommend this accommodation! The place is very clean and has a perfect location. I experienced both the shared dorms and a private room and can't recommend this more. The owner is very nice and accommodating he gave me an upgrade for my private room and let me stay in the room when i got sick and couldn't check out on the date i was supposed to. Even if it was not the most social hostel i still got invited to eat hot pot with some of the chinese tourists that were also staying there! The view from the top common area was also amazing

2202036****My boyfriend had stayed here before, and he highly recommended it again for our trip together this time. The experience was truly excellent 👍. Cleanliness, hygiene, and spaciousness are basic descriptions that don't fully capture the inn's unique charm. Many buildings here, including this inn, are entirely wooden, showcasing a perfect blend of ******* and modern styles. You can overlook the entire ancient town, and pulling back the curtains fills the whole room with warm sunshine. From the windows (two sides), you can see the prayer tower and the mountains. The proprietress is a very warm and cheerful aunt. We will definitely be back!

GGuest UserThe room was generally comfortable. There was a humidifier provided and an oxygen machine (which seemed to be a portable o2 machine). We did not use the o2 machine since we did not have altitude sickness. Our driver could also drive up to the door step of the place so we did not have to worry about navigating with our luggage.
We booked the bathtub room thinking we could enjoy a soak, but honestly, the weather was TOO cold. And, we were told not to wash our heads on the first day to prevent altitude sickness. The shower was comfortable as you could turn on warm air to blow on you while you showered. However, the water seemed unpredictable. It’d be hot then suddenly become cold, before it became hot again.
We only saw the owners during check in, then never again throughout our stay. The owner was polite during the check in process and informed us of where our room was. We asked for extra water via wechat in the evening, but it was never answered. ((To be fair, when we added their wechat, they mentioned to inform by 2pm if we needed room cleaning / topping up of items.))
I think, if you just needed a place to sleep, this place would still be overall comfortable.
