GGuest UserThe room was clean and the service was unobtrusive. There was a faint smell of smoke downstairs, but none upstairs. There are also a few small restaurants within walking distance. Downstairs, there were some character figurines for kids to take photos with. There aren't many public areas, but for the price, the bed was comfortable and there were no strange smells in the room, so I'd recommend it.

GGuest UserThe views were lovely and it was very peaceful, making for a comfortable stay. However, my only real complaint would be the breakfast. The quality was quite subpar, and on the second day, it felt like they just repurposed leftovers from the day before, which left a very poor impression.

The hotel feels a bit run-down due to its age, but overall the stay was acceptable. Self check-in is convenient and easy to use with the automated machine. The location is a plus — centrally located in Taoyuan, with the hotel situated on the 10th floor of the building and surrounded by shopping areas. A practical option if you value location and convenience over newer facilities.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff were polite and friendly. The hotel facilities are mostly complete; some things are a bit old, but it's clear they've been maintained and replaced. The toilet and bathtub are new, but the lights and furniture are a bit dated, and the windows are a bit hard to open. The hygiene is acceptable; the bathroom has a slight odor, but it's tolerable. The bedding was clean, but some corners were quite dusty.

The room was spaciou, clean comfortable. We had a good sleep for the night.
With the fees we paid including breakfast for two, I think it was well worth the money.

JJodieGThe staff were really lovely and I'm sure that had I have spoken Chinese, the things I'm about to say would've been different as I would've been able to explain them over the phone and get them rectified. 
CONS: I didn't get there until almost 1 am due to a flight delay and then missing the last MTR, so by the time I did get there all I wanted was a hot bath and a quiet night's sleep.
Firstly, the room had definitely had smokers in it previously. They may have done a treatment but it was still noticeable.
Secondly, there was 'hair' in the bathtub from a previous occupant. So I definitely didn't use it.
Thirdly, I got almost no sleep – even though the bed was really comfortable – because the smoke alarm in the room needed its battery replaced and spent all night making that very loud high-pitched sound that you cannot ignore!
Now again, had I've been able to pick up the phone and ask them to come and sort it, it could have been a different story, but...
PROS: the room was a great size, and the bathroom had both a spa bath and a walk-in shower. It also was very large and is well set up for customers to drive their vehicle into the ground floor of the unit then go up the stairs to the first floor where the actual room is. The staff were very nice and welcoming even though I arrived so late and even gave me some instant noodle cups. I also got a voucher for breakfast, but didn't end up getting to use it as I was too tired to get out of bed and go there before it finished. 
I may not be the target clientele for this establishment, and while this particular stay had farcical elements, now that I know what it's like and how it works, I probably would stay there again simply due to how nice the staff were. It's not their fault that I don't speak Chinese.

The most beneficial part of my self - drive car trip is that the hotel provides a safe underground garage for guests with no fees. It is expensive and hard to find a place to park the car in Taiwan. The room is spacious and comfy with brick wallpaper. The most admire is the three single beds instead of one double bed plus one single bed . However, the breakfast is not impressive. Minimum choices offered. In conclusion, I totally recommend this hotel for the free parking ,clean and spacious room compared to the price.
