DDariaShariOutstanding service - not every luxury hotel have such attentive and professional staff. Great food, especially breakfast! Nice and clean rooms. Shots and snacks served to hotel guests during the day. Cherry on top - fire show and fireworks every night.
Anyway, it’s not for those who plans to work online, I barely had some voice calls and couldn’t use laptop at all. My Telkomsel worked too bad too in that area, closer to the center - the better connection. Wasn’t a disadvantage for me because I had days off. Otherwise, could be problematic.

SSPANE01The Gili Palms is a smaller resort with 14 bungalows.
The bungalows have airconditioning and a safe. The bed is not too hard or too soft, just right. The shower is party open-air.
The breakfast is from 7-10 am, and very nice, with juices, pancakes, jaffre, fruit and Nescafé or tea.
There is complementary coffee during 24h per dag.
There is a nice pool which is cleaned several times during the day as frangipangi flowers from the trees around fall in. But everything in a quiet and very nice surrounding. The best of all is the team and the manager. They are extremely friendly and helping out wherever they can .
They offer boat trips, and you can rent a bicycle for getting around the island.
The resort is about 100 meters walking to the turtle beach. This is the best beach around the island.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is location one block from ocean. (5minute walk to pier). Gili at is a noisy island with parties going until the early hours of the morning. We couldn’t hear any of it from the hotel however every morning at 4am the mosque their service for an hour (or longer) which is VERY loud and makes it hard to sleep through the night. The hotel does provide ear plugs for this which is nice.
The rooms NEVER got cleaned. Towels were not replaced and bed sheets changed.
The bar has a decent happy hour but the drinks are not strong at all. Often tasting like non alcoholic drinks.
Wifi is not very good. Unless it’s very late.
No hairdryers or anything extra like this. Only toothbrush and toothpaste. (Which we’re not replaced) we ended up buying our own toothpaste.
The hotel staff are VERY friendly though. Which was lovely.
The hotel offers tours and trips etc for a decent price as well as speedy laundry service.
The meals are pretty decent , the included breakfast is not amazing but it’s okay.
If you’re only here for a day or 2 then it’s really not a bad hotel.

GGuest UserGood hotel on the beach front and near all the bars, clubs and restaurants. Service was good, they offered welcome drinks and help with carrying my luggage upstairs. The pool is sometimes used for the divers so it can be a bit of an inconvenience to swim/relax. They have a smaller pool at the back of the hotel but it looked like it hadn’t had a good clean in a while. Overall, a nice hotel and worth the money.

SShounzThe staff is so kind, helpful and friendly. I got so sick on my last day at the hotel but the staff were so helpful. They recommended a doctor I should see and even provided a meal for me without any charge. They were so caring. They checked up on me regularly as well. The hotel has a lovely pool area as well. Access to restaurants and bars are in walking distance from the hotel.

GGuest UserWould advise against this place unfortunately. Construction happening all day around the bungalow, close to the live band inside the restaurant and the mosque makes the stay very noisy, no Wi-Fi in the room. I asked about the issue of the Wi-Fi and they said “well ask our IT guy,” then never heard anything about it again.
The staff we nice and friendly, but it wasn’t enough to make the stay more comfortable.
Left a day early due to all the issues mentioned and they wouldn’t refund me. There are better options on the island. Do yourself a favour and pick one of those.

The most is honest, I forgot my wallet in the hotel room when I checked out, and the mas found it and then called my family in Surabaya, so I could go back to the hotel and take my wallet.
