"Everything was great about this hotel except the front desk. Understand there's meal time but should there be a replacement to ensure someone at the front desk? Anyway, we reached around 1-2pm and wanted to check if we can check in earlier but there was no one at the desk. Hence we sat on the lobby and waited until around 2pm. When we asked about early check in, somehow it felt like the staff wasn't very polite in his reply. That's fine, but what's not is when we came back around 2.45pm. Clearly the room was ready, the receptionist saw us but did not bother to tell us that. Only when another couple tried checking in early, that we know the rooms are ready. Other than that, I have no complaints. Oh 1 more thing, my gf felt the window blinds isn't very efficient and it still allowed sharp glare from the sun in along the sides and it affected her rest. Might want to change to a proper curtain to fully block off the sunlight. Overall would love to stay here again."

"Been singapore for the second time, best accommodation ever, near MRT, halal restaurant,quiet place,staff friendly,even shared bathroom but i didn't feel uncomfortable for female muslim, toilet frequently cleaning and the bed is my mostly like about this place, my exhausted of 20k steps everyday magically disappear after you sleep on the bed. Not me just experienced this but my brother also give a same review about the bed, I'm definitely will booking this place again for the next time, this place more more better than before (Dickson Road)."

"Good value for money, however, i really did not appreciate the rude attitude of the staff.They wanted to charge me with early check in even though the room was ready.They didn’t want to change the amount of 1000 CNY claiming it’s too little and i had a cleaner come into the room despite having do not disturb sign on the door.Checkout was at noon and from 10:45 til 11:45 i received about 10 calls to the room phone urging me to check out.Otherwise clean hotel and cheap for the location and Singapore standards, but i wouldn’t really be back…"

"Wanted to have a staycay and decided to try out this new hotel. I really enjoyed my stay for many reasons ranging from the location, hospitality, cleanliness, accessibility to nearby eateries and tourist spots. Didn’t take photos of the room cause I was really enjoying myself and having a great rest :D It amazed me that there was a washing machine in the room, the interior design on the room was strategic and lovely too. Loved that day/night ambience lighting function (would definitely be useful for those adjusting to jet-lags). Really appreciated the staff for getting the amenities ready at the hallway during off-office hours. Would recommend this place for those travelling solo or in pairs. And would deffo recommend to Singaporeans giving this place a try to feel like a tourist in our own country!"

"Located nearby Lavender MRT station, walking around 10min from the station. surrounded by a lot of restaurant, cafe and hawker in front too. Room size is small, but facilities consider complete for one night stay here. My second booking with this Hotel."

"Booked this hotel for someone who needed a short overnight rest in Singapore (check-in at 9PM, check-out by 8AM). This place is suitable only for a brief stay — don’t expect much in terms of facilities or comfort. That said, if you’re not too particular and just need a simple room to rest for a few hours, the hotel is reasonably priced for what it offers. Given the room rate and the short-duration package, the value for money is actually quite decent."

"Located in the very heart of Little India, surprisingly, it felt relatively safe, surrounded by Indians. The hotel is new and the price is quite cheap for Singapore. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but almost all of them serve Indian food. The room was tiny, and I felt like there were small insects on the bed; I got many small red bites all over my body, which were very itchy. The soundproofing was poor, and the front desk was very slow. Because of the poor soundproofing, I would be startled awake by people suddenly returning home in the middle of the night. If your budget allows, it's not worth the sacrifice."

"I booked Deluxe Single Room but they gave me a free upgrade yeay! They gave me room 206 and I think it's Deluxe Double Room. I'll try to give the pros and cons while I'm staying here: Pros: *All staffs are friendly (Qistina, Pravita, and other staffs that sadly I didn't ask for their name). They always greeted me whenever I stepped out from the lift and they are all really helpful and proactive. *The room is very clean! Michelle and her team are working so hard to clean the rooms. I paid attention that they mostly started to clean my room after lunch. Every afternoon, the staff will knock your room to give an afternoon tea (raw sachets) and candies for you with a handwriting letter. From my observed, the letters were different everyday. Thanks Rabiatul for writing such a beautiful letter for me. *The AC works too perfect until I feel cold. I really hope they can change the position of the AC so it's not directly facing us (this is one of the cons) *The building is newly renovated and the vibes make it feel like home. The light isn't too bright but not too dimmed either. I always tried to find hotel with this kind of vibes wherever I'm staying at. The light is light yellow. *The laundry machine is easy to use (because some of the hotels provide a complicated laundry machine). *It's quite close to MRT station and Chinatown which is a really good point. *The staffs didn't make it hard for me when check-in & check-out. Definitely no drama at all. Cons: *Some of you may feel the room will be too small. For me, the upgraded room was perfect for a solo traveler like me. However, I must say that it's better to not book this room if you're coming with your partner as it will feel cramped. I've stayed in much smaller room than this so I really didn't see this as a burden. *The pillows are really the big downside that they need to urgently pay attention to. It's soft but it will make your neck ache after using it for hours. It's really uncomfortable for me to the point I better to sleep without the pillows. It's better to change the pillows into brand Tempur since you already set your standards so high in your amenities so why don't set it high for your pillows too? :) *I'm a light sleeper and very sensitive to sounds. I've been really scared because most of the reviews mentioned it's so noisy outside. To my surprise, I didn't hear any noise at all at night (?) but yes the trains are always going back and forth and it's vibrating my room. I remembered my room felt like shaking on my first 2 night here. However, I didn't feel it that much anymore after that, at least I didn't feel it ruined my sleep. The pillows did, not the noise :”( *If you like to eat your food inside your room especially on the floor, please prepare yourself to eat it right in front of your bathroom. I was well trained from my previous hotel so I don't think this is a big problem but maybe you will. *Some of you may feel the bathroom and toilet are too small but for me it's really fine (maybe I've experience in smaller room than this) :( But I really feel you still can move your body pretty freely though. Lemme confess, I was spending my time to search almost all hotels in the city and there were several times when I wanted to cancel the book here for another hotels. But I was glad I didn't do it. I am not sugar coating my review, this is my pure feeling about this hotel and I will definitely stay here again. To be honest, the hotel selection in Singapore isn't plenty and most of them have similar negative issues. However, I tried my best to sort the best for myself and though I once hesitated, I am glad that I stay with Claude Hotel ＜3. For Claude Hotel, there's still room for improvement. Please, consider change your pillows soon. I hope the business can be survived in the long run and I'll see you again!"

"We stayed here for 2 days. Upon arrival, we asked for assistance as we had 6 pieces of luggage and I recently had surgery, so I couldn’t carry much. The staff at the front desk was very rude, and I had to ask twice before being pointed to a trolley with no help offered. When we got to the room, we noticed it had two beds, even though our booking clearly stated a queen bed. When I went back to the reception, the staff simply said, “We thought you may like it.” Only after insisting did they change our room from the 2nd floor to the 6th floor, and we again had to manage all the luggage ourselves. On the positive side, the location is very good and convenient for exploring the city, and the breakfast was also enjoyable. Overall, the service was disappointing, but the location and breakfast were the highlights of our stay."
