There’s other stays within too but parking is free (at your own risk), I felt like it was in a pretty safe area but shouldn’t leave belongings in your car. There’s a lot of fast food to offer nearby (chick fil a, in n out, etc). I also liked that it was close to the freeway. For where we wanted to go, 15-20 drive to rowland heights, 30 to Irvine wasn’t bad. And it came with free breakfast. Check in was fairly easy (they do charge card for deposit, $100). We did check in at midnight too though so…
Stayed on the first floor, twin bed. I had a good sleep. We got the ADA bathroom so there was a lot of space. The shower head had a hole in it tho. It’s not squeaky clean but good enough. Toilet wasn’t dirty at least. Would suggest bringing slippers to shower with though. I wish I had slippers to shower in.
Some thing I would like to complain about:
-it was hot but AC blows out strong wind and blows the curtains up a lot. fan is actually really loud. No option to turn fan down. Since it was hot, we kept it on.
-no extra outlet for plugs for charging near by the beds or I might have been blind
-housekeeping didn’t make our beds but It didn’t bother us too much as we were leaving the next day anyways
Overall, I would come back here.

First and foremost, the hotel's proximity to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a major advantage. It's a mere 10-minute drive away, which made it incredibly convenient for someone like me who had to catch an early morning flight. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a nice touch.
The check-in process was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and welcoming. The lobby area is clean, modern, and well-designed, creating a favorable first impression.
I stayed in a standard room, and it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillows provided. The room had a decent view and was adequately spacious for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with the necessary amenities.
One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The food was surprisingly good, and they offered a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided excellent service. However, I found the prices a bit on the higher side.
The fitness center was well-equipped, and I was able to maintain my workout routine during my stay. The hotel also has a small outdoor pool, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay.
The only downside to my experience was the noise level in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Thin walls seemed to allow sound to carry, which made it a bit difficult to sleep when there were noisy neighbors. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow at times, which could be frustrating if you're trying to get work done.
Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne is a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience near the airport. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent dining options make it a comfortable place to stay. However, improvements in soundproofing and Wi-Fi speed would enhance the overall experience.

NNeel KapadiaI was not given the room that me and one of my colleagues booked by saying its over booked and error by system. We have asked to change on next day. And front dest seems to not feel guilty at all and given some $10-20 coupon and we feel its very regular for them. Dont like they treat the way in this situation. Also have less water flow in shower and basin.
Otherwise bed, rooms and location is good as per my works.

MMr TongFor this holiday inn, it’s big different with others.
For reception, they are very friendly.
For carpark, only for valet, $45 per day and it’s expensive than Las Vegas. But I think they have better security as they will lock the exit entrance at night time.
For room cleaning, it’s big issue, we found there are many areas with stain, dirty or hair.
We are worry that it has bug but luckily they don’t have even though we did deeply cleaning before sleep.
For room, always has sound from another room, it’s big problem as the connecting room which is living by a family. They keep loudly and affecting us to sleep even 23:00-24:00.
Finally, staff thoguht we touch the connecting room lock and affected another room customers instead of understanding what happen we have. Poor on handling customer case.

GGuest UserIt was originally booked for king size bed me and my friend because there is no availability in the website for twin bed but upon arrival in the lobby of the hotel and checking in they offered us if we would like to have twin bed with no extra fee will be added. GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Carlyle Inn and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the heart of Pico Robertson, so there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and other amenities within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Los Angeles.
Here are some additional details about my stay:
1. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, a desk, a chair, and a TV.
2. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower.
3. The hotel had a small gym with a punching bag, which was a nice touch.
4. The hotel is located in a great area, with plenty of kosher restaurants, grocery stores, and shuls within walking distance.
5. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were able to answer all of my questions.
Overall, I had a great experience at the Carlyle Inn and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Los Angeles.
I tried checking in early but was told that there would be an additional charge if I wanted to check in before 3pm. That was a bit of a bummer :(
