GGuest UserI booked this hotel over a month in advance, just to stay at a place that had been on my favorites list. It was absolutely blissful and satisfying!
**Location:** The hotel is right near Baisha Ancient Town, but it's not nestled among a bunch of other buildings. The view from the rooms is completely open green space, with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance, totally unobstructed.
**Service:** After checking in, the hotel butler created a service chat group, sent us important notes, and even met us at the hotel entrance in advance. Our luggage was taken to our room, and for check-out, they proactively came to our room to pick up our bags. Coffee, milk, and juice are available all day, unlimited, for guests. On the day we arrived, they provided afternoon tea with special snacks, coffee, a fruit platter, and cake. The mini-fridge in the room also had drinks. Breakfast was so extensive that my son said, ”Mom, we don't need to go out to eat anymore!” We pretty much felt pampered with food the entire stay. When we checked out, the lovely manager even packed coffee for us to take away. Since it was Chinese New Year's Eve, the owner even put on a *huge* fireworks display! Plus, every single staff member greeted us with a smile, which was incredibly comforting.
**Facilities:** Kohler bathroom fixtures, a large bathtub, Marshall speakers, smart toilet, Dyson hairdryer, and Acqua di Parma toiletries are all standard. The hygiene was excellent, with bath towels and slippers neatly packaged in bags. The public areas of the hotel have various amenities perfect for relaxing. The hotel's different spots are just as good, if not better, than many popular 'influencer' spots outside, creating a wonderful atmosphere and making it very easy to take great photos.
There's also a super cute Samoyed at the hotel!

First, the service: The butler team, both the gentlemen and ladies, were incredibly thoughtful. They started checking in on my arrival time even before I checked in. Every day, they'd ask in advance in the group chat about my breakfast, afternoon tea, and calming soup preferences, and would proactively inquire about my preferred time for the evening hot spring bath and prepare it accordingly. They even sent us the sunrise time and the probability of seeing the 'Golden Mountain' (snow-capped peaks glowing at sunrise) the night before.
Then there are the room facilities, which were also top-notch. There's even a cabinet-style dryer, and the underfloor heating was perfect. Seriously, they've thought of everything!
Finally, the view! It's directly facing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and you can watch the 'Golden Mountain' phenomenon right from your bed.
I've already recommended it to friends, and I will definitely be back!

The owner personally carried bricks and tiles, while a design team from Tsinghua University's architecture department oversaw the project, embedding the Naxi people's understanding of beauty and the soul of their spiritual home into every crevice of the walls.
No matter which window you open, you're greeted with a view of the ancient, majestic snow-capped mountain, as if it's been brought right into the lively space.
The design and details within the rooms reflect the owner's thoughtful touch and aesthetic sense. The amenities are excellent, with underfloor heating in winter and cool breezes in summer, making it a perfect retreat year-round. Whether you're relaxing in your room, enjoying tea and a book, or venturing out for a horse ride or hike to Yuhu Lake for some fresh air and mushroom foraging in the woods, it's all about savoring slow living. The high-altitude winds effortlessly sweep away any urban worries you might have brought with you.
At every turn, the designer has placed a soft, non-glaring light and many cleverly conceived details. The common areas are stocked with a wide selection of books, creating a sense of relaxation and peace in every corner.
The assistant, a charming and kind woman who has traveled the world before returning to her hometown, is truly exceptional. Having worked for many years in natural ecological education at the UN, she's a favorite among children, offering a variety of engaging themed activities daily.
The dining experience is also delightful; both breakfast and dinner are hearty, and the ingredients are fresh and safe, offering complete peace of mind.

GGuest UserWe had the most delightful stay at Wanchuanxu Hotel in Lijiang's Baisha Ancient Town!
The hotel boasts an excellent location and a fantastic design overall, with different rooms offering varying snow mountain views. My child was absolutely thrilled to see the snow-capped mountains through the large window in our room; we didn't even have to leave to enjoy the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' phenomenon.
The hotel is right at the entrance of Baisha Ancient Town, making it super convenient for dining and relaxation with just a few minutes' walk. It's also only about a 10-minute drive from the new Yulong Snow Mountain Tourist Service Center, making access to the mountain by the scenic train incredibly easy.
Before our arrival, the hotel butler created a chat group to communicate every service detail, showing great enthusiasm and meticulousness. Unlike other hotels that might offer a welcome fruit platter, they provided exquisite afternoon tea, a shoulder and neck spa, and a sweet soup every evening after we checked in.
The hotel's facilities really stood out: a Moen digital shower (easy to select showerheads, accurate temperature setting – the best I've encountered in any hotel), a Dyson hairdryer, a TOTO smart toilet, and a Marshall speaker.
From the comfortable rooms to the attentive service, every detail made us feel incredibly warm and welcome. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers seeking quality; it's definitely a five-star vacation choice!

Because I wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I booked this homestay at the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The surrounding environment is quiet and the air is fresh. All balconies can directly enjoy the beautiful scenery of the snow-capped mountains, especially the scenery of Rizhao Jinshan! ! ! It is really suitable for leisure and vacation and enjoy a slow-paced life.
Talk about the room, in addition to all rooms with balconies, the balcony is facing the snow-capped mountains, the room is also equipped with floor heating, and the staff also intimately open the floor heating in advance. Surprisingly, there are towels disinfection cabinets, bath heaters, bath bags and bath salts. The bedding is very comfortable, and the mini bar is free to enjoy. There is also its own parking lot and charging pile at the door, which is very convenient for self-driving tourists like us!
The front yard and backyard are very popular. There is also a cafe, which is also facing the snow-capped mountains. It is really casual to order a cup of coffee in a daze! There is also a book, the scenery is also very good, you can read the book quietly ～
Let's talk about dining, I know that the boss is Shunde! They all say ”eat in Guangzhou, cook out of Fengcheng”, so the dinner presented is not vague at all! Yak beef hot pot must be eaten! ! ! Awesome! ! ! The beef is rich in flavor, but the stew is just right. And the beef clear soup is delicious! Hot vegetables are also first-class! ! The beef noodles in the morning are also delicious! ! ! Surprisingly, the plateau sweet potatoes are really sweet! ! ! In addition, afternoon tea is full of sincerity!
From the reservation information, different ethnic experiences will be arranged every season, such as picking mushrooms, handmade, etc. We experienced horse riding this time, and the homestays were all prepared in advance, reducing a lot of troubles with arrangements!
The butler service is really super intimate, ask for the pick-up arrangement in advance, and respond to the demand 24 hours a day. Because it was a honeymoon trip, the hotel also sent red wine, and specially prepared fireworks at night, which was really pleasant! ! ! The staff are very warm and friendly, making us feel at home.

It was also exceptionally clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's surroundings were lovely and quiet too. They also offer a free laundry room and a breakfast with a great variety of options. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

1. First and foremost, this place is a true definition of luxury. It's architecture and design is really well thought off with a dedicated private courtyard. Their common space has different section, giving you choices on where and what you would like to experience. Its interior spells luxury in every corner. They even have a fireplace which is actually a humidifier - very important for a cold place.
2. Secondly, as its name. It is the most carefree holiday we had, where everything is well prepared and well planned.
3. Last but not least, the hospitality.! Its owners are always around. We have multiple conversations beside the fireplace (legit fireplace) and when we depart, the most touching words was said - ”call us if there is anything as we are local people, we can help you”
Totally recommend to stay here, true definition of ”atas”.

The B&B owner arranged an airport pick-up in advance, and checking in, I was speechless at the stunning view from the window – snow-capped mountains, traditional Naxi homes, and a courtyard water feature, all right before my eyes. Every photo I took looked amazing. The room decor was incredibly stylish, with a rustic wood theme paired with soft bedding; once I lay down, I didn't want to get up. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a great view, and just sitting by the window with a pot of tea, gazing out, was incredibly therapeutic. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service was very thoughtful. The B&B is also very close to the ancient town, and the restaurant the owner recommended had delicious food. Oh, and they even provide a mini car for guests to get around, so you don't need to call a taxi if you want to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain or nearby pastures for photos – all the amenities and services are so well thought out! If anyone is planning a trip to Lijiang, I highly recommend this B&B; you can't go wrong, trust me!

GGuest UserOkay, this review was written while staying at another hotel but desperately missing Taohua坞 (hahaha). This time, I came to Lijiang without any prior planning and only booked this hotel upon arrival. It truly exceeded my expectations! I initially booked for only one night but ended up extending for two more (because it was the off-season, and they even upgraded our room, hee hee).
📍Location & Scenery: It's located right within the Yulong Snow Mountain scenic area. There's a mountain road, but the entire journey is picturesque, and the snow-capped mountains are stunning. The scenery is definitely among the top 3 in Lijiang, absolutely beautiful! With cows, sheep, horses, meadows, lakes, and snow mountains, it gives off a total Swiss vibe.
🏠Room Facilities & Hygiene: With air conditioning and underfloor heating, you don't have to worry about feeling cold – it's very comfortable. I'm extremely particular about hygiene, and during my stay, I experienced three different room types, all of which were impeccably clean. I must particularly praise the shower and hot water; the water pressure was incredibly strong! Anyone who's particular about shower pressure will understand how amazing this is; I can't praise it enough!!!
🍴Restaurant: This is the taste I miss most since leaving the hotel and going elsewhere. All the dishes are specialties and absolutely delicious. Shout out to Chef Wang!
👩Service: This is the main highlight I want to talk about. Chen Guanxi, Li Ronghao, Liang Bo, Cai Xukun, Jiancai Ma Ge, Old A, Zi Chen, the 1.9-meter tall barista... they come from different ethnic groups: *******, Naxi, Yi, Lisu, Pumi, Mosuo... Each person is so unique, and we truly became like friends. They taught me so much about various minority cultures, and I even learned how to churn butter tea (I heard that if you're good at making butter tea in ******* culture, you can marry two wives, hahaha~). In the evenings, you can request any song, and the butler will sing it for you. Everyone is full of life and passion. The most touching small detail was that I had a bit of a cold on the day I checked in. From the front desk to the butlers, everyone showed genuine concern, asking how I was, making me medicine, and the first thing any staff member I encountered the next day would ask was if my cold was better. It was like family-level care. At that moment, I thought to myself, 'Am I really just staying in a hotel?' It was incredibly thoughtful 🥹. (Here I'll omit 200 words of gushy writing, it's just too sentimental...)
Summary: If there's one place I'd want to visit countless times, it's Taohua坞, not just for the scenery, but also for all the 'family' there~

3320531****What a wonderful stay! I've stayed in quite a few five-star hotels, but Lanxiu is truly amazing!
Our butler, Xiaolin, contacted us early in the morning and provided a lot of guidance and suggestions! My friend and I stayed at this hotel after coming down from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – the room view was absolutely stunning! The snow-capped mountains were right in front of us! The floor-to-ceiling windows were incredible! There were lambs and a black dog on the lawn in front of the window. Breakfast was served right in our room, enjoying the golden sunrise over the mountains. The room had excellent underfloor heating, and the walls had a sophisticated subtle floral design – clean, hygienic, and comfortable! I was experiencing some altitude sickness and a headache, but after a good night's sleep, I felt completely better! The pillows included separate backrests and sleeping pillows; the sleeping pillows were very comfortable 😌. The owner and butlers were all incredibly kind and considerate! The best part was the cooking! The best meals I had in Yunnan were all at this guesthouse! The beef hot pot was amazing – the beef was tender and flavorful, and the white radish had absorbed all the broth, making it sweet and juicy! The vegetables and matsutake mushrooms were all exceptionally fresh – and the black pepper chicken hot pot was also superb! My first time trying hot pot with sliced chicken! It was just as delicious as the steamed chicken from Shunde, which I consider the pinnacle of chicken cuisine! So tasty! And then there was the Yunnan rice noodles in the morning, tofu pudding with mushroom topping, hot egg tarts, crispy croissants, fresh fruit, freshly made soy milk, pear and white fungus soup, and so much more!
A huge thank you to the owner and housekeeper for their attentive service and all the amazing food they provided these past few days!
I highly recommend staying here – enjoy the tranquility and leisure of Yuhu Lake – relax and have fun! My photography skills are so-so, so please bear with the quality.
