MMiduoduoqiaoqiaoGate Hotel boasts a fantastic location in Fukuoka's Tenjin shopping district. It's within a 10-minute walk of Parco, Iwataya, Mitsukoshi, Nishitetsu, Bic Camera, Loft, and Daimaru Department Store. Plus, there's a drugstore on B1 and the subway airport line on B2, making transportation incredibly convenient, even for getting to Hakata. The rooms are quite new and the facilities are fine, though they are a bit small; a 28-inch suitcase can't fully open in the aisle. The hotel offers afternoon tea starting at 2 PM on the 18th floor, with drinks like coffee and matcha, and snacks such as mentaiko senbei (shrimp crackers) and cakes. The view is excellent and very photogenic, offering a panoramic look at Fukuoka's architecture. All in all, it offers good value for money and is perfect for anyone exploring Fukuoka.

MM31152****The hotel has a hot spring bath on the first floor, and pajamas are provided. After a long day of walking, a soak in the tub followed by a good night's sleep is just what I needed. The room also came with a washing machine and microwave, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel is right next to the subway exit. Although the room was a bit small, you can't have everything, and I was surprisingly satisfied overall.

However, the hot springs were excellent, and they even offered unlimited Yakult to drink. Breakfast was decent, offering a good variety of options. CChouningningThe hotel's location is excellent, right near Hakata Station. From JR Hakata Station, take the Chikushi Exit East, turn right onto the sidewalk and walk straight. After the first large intersection, continue straight. You'll soon cross a smaller intersection, and past that will be a Lawson convenience store. The hotel entrance is right after Lawson. If you find the right exit, it's very easy to get to, taking about 3-4 minutes. The subway entrances for the Airport Line and Nanakuma Line are even closer to the hotel.
The front desk staff was very friendly. They explained all the rules in English, even using pictures to detail the daily housekeeping services. The room size was decent, not small by Japanese standards. The overall hygiene was good. The room window could be opened slightly, though there was no view. Because of its convenience, I would consider staying here again in the future.

JjojowumiThe hotel boasts a Japanese forest-themed decor. It's conveniently located between the Hakata and Tenjin shopping districts. Getting around is a breeze, with multiple subway entrances just a 2-3 minute walk away. Two different subway lines provide direct access to Hakata (Nanakuma Line) or Tenjin (Airport Line).
You can also opt to walk to both areas (Fukuoka isn't that big). It's a 15-minute walk to the Tenjin shopping area, or you can stroll to Canal City Hakata in 15 minutes (shopping is so-so, but there are plenty of dining options, and it gets crowded), then continue for another 10 minutes to the Hakata shopping district.
The Airport Line subway goes directly to Fukuoka Airport (for international flights, take a free shuttle bus from the domestic terminal). A taxi from the airport costs approximately 130 RMB and takes 20-25 minutes.
Room service keeps the rooms spotless and is very courteous.
The front desk staff are friendly during check-in, and check-out is self-service.
Right across from the hotel, a 1-minute walk away, there's a shopping mall (which also houses the Anpanman Children's Museum).
You'll find Don Quijote Nakasu just a 1-minute walk away.
The 24-hour Ichiran Ramen main store is a 3-minute walk (go during off-peak hours as it gets very busy).
There are many small convenience stores within a 3-5 minute walk.
Aeon Supermarket is a 10-minute walk and has McDonald's and KFC, which could be good options for breakfast.

It's also very convenient to take the bus to Kumamoto, and there are many dining options within the hotel building itself. However, I'm not sure if it's the rooms Ctrip assigns, but both times I stayed (three days each), the rooms were quite bad. The first time, I was in the furthest corner with a view of rooftop facilities. When checking out, I left a note hoping for a room closer to the elevator next time. The second time, I was a bit closer to the elevator, but the view out the window was even worse – a concrete and glass wall!

GGuest UserWhen we tried to purchase additional breakfast coupons, the hotel still charged the adult price for a 10-year-old child. Even after asking again, the charge remained the same.
After entering the room, we found a pair of children’s slippers that hadn’t been cleaned up.
The front desk staff looked unfriendly and seemed unwilling to serve foreign tourists
But, the location is nearby Hakata station just about 3mins walk away. It is convenient.

AAmetravelsDirect entry to the station via exit 4 on B1 with a Lawson conveniently located on B1 to get food and its also a popular designated meeting point for day tours. With only three 2-in-1 washer/dryers provided, it was near impossible to get any laundry done, people were queuing up or rushing down to get to the machines, as the status of the machines were shown on the hotel room TV and can be monitored by all guests.
