__M1392387****This hotel is super close to LAX, so it's highly recommended for anyone with an early flight. The rooms are spacious, and they offer a free shuttle service between the airport and the hotel. The soundproofing is also quite good. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

GGuest UserOur experience was not very impressed. When we got into our room (Rm 1223), the heater was not working. We called the front desk but no one was able to pick up the phone. In the end, we went to the front desk hoping to find someone to deal with the problem. Unfortunately, there was a long line waiting to be checked in. We waited at the cafe until the line was gone. Tomisha was very helpful; she offered to give us another room (Rm 1226). However, the heater was also not working in the second room. We were so tired and didn't bother to ask for a third room.
As many people have commented, the hot water in the shower was not hot enough. The room was already cold and there was no hot shower. So, you can imagine how I spent that one night at the hotel.
We go on our annual cruise to Mexico and usually stay at Hyatt Regency. We wanted to explore another hotel this time, and booked three rooms altogether. I don't think we will return again.

GGuest UserHotel was nice. Ac in the room unfortunately didn’t work and we were sweating all night. They took off a mandatory travel fee for the hassle, they should have comped the 54 dollar valet fee for the ac not working and the tv also had no connection. But it is what it is. Nice hotel otherwise probably won’t stay there again though.

JJzczVery great amenities at the hotel: there is a bar and restaurant, and guests receive free drinks and enjoy happy hours. Hotel breakfasts were nice (if you don’t mind the service charge). Gym and pool were also very decent. They give guests free round-trip Uber rides to destinations in the vicinity. Not very accessible in terms of public transit except a couple of buses, but ideal for those who need to be at the Getty or UCLA.

MM506966****The hotel is located downtown, making public transportation convenient. A big plus for this hostel is the spacious beds and hotel-standard bedding, which is very clean. The wooden beds don't make any noise. However, the lobby is used by staff after 12 PM, and there's no public area for guests to relax in. The 8-bed dorm is right next to an old-fashioned elevator, which occasionally makes noise. It's an option if you need to stay downtown, but if you're looking for a proper youth hostel experience, this isn't the right choice.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean, and the staff was absolutely incredible—kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay.
However, the parking situation was a nightmare. The only option was valet parking, which wasn’t made clear in advance. Finding the entrance was confusing, and once we finally did, we learned valet was mandatory at $63 per day. The valet staff were very friendly, but I prefer the flexibility to park and access my car on my own schedule. There was a nearby hotel offering parking for $40/day, but the back-and-forth logistics made that option impractical.
The room itself was stylish and well-kept but extremely small with minimal privacy. I was traveling with kids for a cheer competition, so we had a lot of gear, and there just wasn’t enough space. The room only had a small table under the TV, a few nightstands, and a bench—no real space for extra luggage or to move around comfortably. The layout was tight, especially between the bed and furniture.
The bathroom setup was a major downside. There was no separate bathroom area—just a shower and toilet with no full wall or door for privacy. With a group of young girls in the room, this made things really awkward, especially when I wasn’t feeling well and needed a private space. There was no fan or door to close off the bathroom area completely, which was a big issue.
While the room was clean overall, I did notice dust in some areas—on the top shelves, above the fridge, and on the showerhead. I always do a wipe-down when I check in, and while the floors and surfaces were generally clean, those harder-to-reach spots had been missed. There also weren’t enough hooks or space to hang and organize clothing or gear.
Overall, the cleanliness and staff were great, but the lack of space, privacy, and clear parking info really took away from the experience. Because of the room layout alone, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again—especially when traveling with kids or for an event where space is a must.

GGuest UserThis hotel is similar to domestic hotels in all aspects. The clerk in the convenience store told me that they provide free coffee every morning. When I went upstairs for breakfast, I saw someone holding coffee from the convenience store and drinking it while walking.

RRobFThe hotel is in a great location, right next to a big shopping mall with plenty of food options nearby and free car parking. The entrance, car park and foyer area was outstanding, with impressive Christmas decorations and well presented staff. The rooms were good, but not at the level of the foyer and we had some issues with our rooms not being serviced by housekeeping, however the manager was very apologetic and offered compensation due to the challenges with housekeeping. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very good overall, very new, the facilities, bedding and toiletries are of good quality, I like the smell of shower gel and body lotion. When you check in, you will also be given a free glass of wine or beer from the roof bar, which is good! Breakfast is a la carte, the price is a bit expensive, but the taste is good and the quantity is sufficient. I will stay here again!

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is great. Just downstairs is the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Across the street is Madame Tussauds and the Chinese Theatre. The guy who did the valet parking and carried the luggage was very enthusiastic, and the front desk also introduced the hotel facilities in detail. The outdoor swimming pool is very lively. The weather in LA in early October is very comfortable. Many people are sunbathing. I recommend the ice cream at the pool bar, which is huge. The suite room is large and retro. The sofa in the living room makes you forget to get up when you sit down. The bed in the bedroom is also very comfortable. The only drawback is that the suite room faces the street and it is a bit noisy from passing cars, but you can enjoy the bustling Avenue of Stars through the window.
