Mminoriku520After booking the hotel, I arranged airport transfer with them. A hotel driver was waiting for me at the airport and took me directly to the hotel. A welcome juice was provided, check-in was simple, and the hotel staff were polite, helpful, and even introduced the itinerary for first-time visitors to Phu Quoc Island – very thoughtful!
I stayed in a private bungalow; the environment was beautiful, spacious, and clean. Housekeeping staff cleaned our room daily and thoughtfully lit aromatherapy, leaving a subtle lemongrass scent each time we entered!
The hotel pool was clean and offered archery and pickleball experiences – quite novel!
The hotel breakfast varied slightly each day; it was different every day for the three days I stayed.
The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport. The main street leading out of the hotel is a short walk from the food and shopping area, while the hotel itself is located on a side street, cleverly avoiding the hustle and bustle while still offering great convenience.
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel's location and service! 👍

Kai and Diem are amazing receptionists and we consider them friends! Bao, senior server and the breakfast staff Minh and Nuong are always ready to help and waiting with smiles as are all the breakfast staff, sorry I don’t know all of their names.
I got bad food poisoning in Hanoi and was very sick the first night we arrived but the staff was very helpful and concerned and helped us through it. They are all very genuine and special people.
The resort is spotless and all the rooms are spotless. The cleaning ladies are the sweetest!! The grounds and pool are maintained all day everyday. The beds and bedding are super comfy. The air con is cold and the shower has good water pressure and is hot.
Breakfast is super! So many options and all delicious. The most amazing baguette I’ve had in Vietnam and I am still dreaming about it! Many choices of Vietnamese, western and Asian foods. Good coffee and excellent fruit selection.
You can rent motorbikes at the resort. There are many options of food close to the resort.
There is really nothing I can say negative about Kingo Resort Retreat, I would like to keep the resort all to myself but the secret is out because it really is very good and very booked up especially during the holidays.
Really a fantastic intimate resort. Quiet and private away from the busy city of Phu Quoc.
We will be back, that is for sure!! 10/10!!!

GGuest UserThis is the first time I stayed in Phu Quoc Island for one night. This hotel is highly recommended. Regardless of the cleanliness of the environment, the breakfast service is super high standard, comparable to a five-star hotel. Thank you to the team for preparing the anniversary decoration for me. In addition, you can see fireworks in the room, which is simply shocking. Be sure to book a premium sea view room, great value for money, and Netflix. I have recommended it to my friends and plan to stay for a few more nights in next time 👍❤️

DDina_80The apartment was exactly as in the pictures. The stay was great, the room was fully equipped, except for limited information about the stay from the host. The breakfast didn’t worth to take. We skipped once we have seen it. The host could print the basic information about the stay on the paper to avoid misunderstanding . However, the overall experience is really positive. Highly recommended.

DDeparture JCThe owner of the villa was great. He tried his best to serve us well, once he knew there was a problem with the air conditioning, he immediately called people to fix it as soon as possible. The only cons is that the villa has some ants, but that’s average for a normal Vietnam hotel due to its weather and location. Speaking of it’s location, it is kind far away from the city but who needs to go out when you can just take a swim in the outdoor private swimming pool. The pool has a volley ball, and some floaties to play around. Not just that, nearby there is a Vietnamese pho restaurant which is quite clean and good. You can take out or eat there. Inside the villa, there is a kitchen and a laundry room which is completely free. On the second floor there are beanbags and a sofa with TV, it was very clean. On the third and fourth floor, is the bedrooms they are very clean though the mattress are a bit too hard.
Tips : Close the laundry room door and all the other doors and windows every day and night if available to avoid flying termites, they usually come and night and before rain.
