JJiyi-nihaoThis was my first time visiting Yiwu, and I came specifically for the International Trade City. When booking a hotel, I was torn between the Global Hotel near the Trade City and this one. After looking into it, I found that hotels near the Trade City often had issues with noise. So, I decisively chose this local five-star hotel, which also offered three buffet meals and afternoon tea. The location is excellent, very close to both Yiwu International Trade City and Chaoyangmen. The hotel has been recently renovated; the ground floor has a very stylish design, and the overall aesthetic leans towards understated luxury, which I really appreciate. The elevators are fast, and there are even three panoramic elevators. All meals are served on the 22nd floor, offering great views and delicious food. The breakfast spread was quite generous, and I ended up eating too much. It would be even better if the dinner offered a wider variety of seafood and options. However, for the price on Ctrip, it's very good value for money. My room was on a high floor with city views, and the in-room facilities were new and complete. It would be even better if the minibar was complimentary or more reasonably priced. But, but, but the service truly was outstanding! From the moment I checked in, I received thoughtful, butler-style service. I arrived on the first night and left the next morning. The hotel's complimentary afternoon tea could even be packed to go. When checking out, the front desk attendant sweetly gave me a souvenir and some washed fruit to take with me. She was truly beautiful and kind-hearted! Oh, and there's also a Starbucks and a Japanese restaurant on the ground floor. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next trip to Yiwu.

GGuest UserThis hotel is centrally located in Yiwu, offering convenient transportation and close proximity to Yiwu Tiandi and Xiuhu Park. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were very quick. They even gave us a small gift upon check-out! The hotel facilities are new, and the room was clean and tidy. The bedding was comfortable, and even the details like the window sills and table corners were spotless. Very satisfied, very satisfied!

GGuest UserThe room was great, they upgraded us to a lake-view room. Even though it was a national holiday (May Day), the hotel was very well-organized. There were even staff at the main entrance helping open car doors and handle luggage, which was a nice touch. You can open the windows in the room for ventilation, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent, with some local specialties and everything you'd expect. It definitely justified the May Day pricing. Most importantly, the hotel was relatively quiet, and there weren't too many foreigners, which is a big plus in Yiwu! It's also a short taxi ride to the International Trade City (Futian Market).

**Facilities:** A bit outdated, hope they'll renovate soon.
**Service:** Excellent! Both the front desk staff (guys and girls), housekeeping, and restaurant staff were all wonderful.
It's quite close to the Commercial City and Bingwang Night Market. Overall, it's roughly a 4-star hotel but with 5-star service.

We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Here’s a breakdown of our stay:

**Check-In Experience:**
We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.
**Room Comfort:**
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
**Facilities:**
The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.
**Service:**
The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.
**Room for Improvement:**
While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment.
**Final Thoughts:**
This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.
In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages.
Would we return? Absolutely!

Their service was incredibly enthusiastic and thorough; they were so kind, proactive in helping with directions and luggage, and really efficient and thoughtful. They patiently answered all our questions throughout our stay, demonstrating true professionalism. Their meticulous and heartwarming service made us feel incredibly comfortable. The hotel is also directly opposite International Trade City districts 1 and 2. We'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe hotel is new, no doubt about it, but there are quite a few flaws in its maintenance: 1. A previous guest's chewing gum (Pic 1); 2. Reused slippers (Pics 2, 3); 3. An electric window that wouldn't close (Pic 4); 4. A showerhead that sprayed water unevenly (Pic 5); 5. A dead electronic scale with a previous guest's toe prints (Pic 6); 6. A used bath bomb wrapper from a guest long ago stuck to the back of the tub (Pic 7); 7. An unidentified black object under the bedsheet (Pic 8); 9. A chipped corner on the bathroom mirror (Pic 9). I didn't mention the issues that didn't affect my stay, but all the ones that did were resolved. Now, a few service issues: 1. There were 4 people at 2 front desk computers (Pic 10, another person arrived later), and only one line was open during check-in, even with a queue forming; 2. At 11 PM that night, I discovered the TV had no internet and the AC wasn't cooling. I called 7 times with no answer. Finally, I had to call Trip.com. All problems were resolved within half an hour, and I received compensation. Thumbs up to Trip.com customer service – glad I chose them. The hotel also provided some snacks as compensation. I hope these same issues won't happen again.

This time, I specifically booked a six-day continuous stay, and even after just a few days, the experience left me feeling incredibly warm and pleasantly surprised. It really solidified why I repeatedly choose this hotel and enthusiastically recommend it to friends and family.
I'm from Guangdong, and a daily tea-drinking ritual is deeply ingrained in my life – it's an indispensable part of my routine. Having stayed at the Global Hotel for years, I was genuinely touched to find that the staff had subtly remembered my preference and taken even the smallest details to heart. At other hotels, I'd always have to proactively request bottled water every day, which was not only inconvenient but also interrupted my leisurely tea-making. However, upon opening the door to Room 1288 this time, I was immediately moved.
The staff, knowing about my six-day stay, had pre-stocked the room with an ample supply of bottled water, perfectly meeting all my tea-making needs for the entire duration. I didn't have to remind anyone daily or repeatedly contact the front desk for refills, completely eliminating all cumbersome communication. This proactive anticipation and thoughtful, pre-emptive service truly resonated with me. Hotel service here isn't about rigid, standardized procedures; it's about genuinely remembering the habits of each regular guest and tailoring details to their actual needs, making me, a traveler on the go, feel truly warm and valued.
Throughout my entire stay, the hotel's service was consistently meticulous and perfectly balanced. The staff were gentle, polite, and responsive, offering service that was proactive yet unobtrusive, thoughtful yet not intrusive – they perfectly understood the nuances of good service. My room was spotlessly clean, comfortably arranged, and the environment was quiet and relaxing, providing me with a peaceful sanctuary to unwind amidst my busy schedule. Every day's living experience was comfortable and pleasant.
What truly struck me is that genuine good service is never about temporary pandering; it's about a long-term commitment to care. The Global Hotel doesn't just offer superficial service; they meticulously refine details and cultivate warmth. They remember regulars' preferences, anticipate guests' needs, and prepare in advance, using proactive, heartwarming service to alleviate the fatigue and inconveniences of travel.

I met her during check-in. Seeing me tired with my luggage, she proactively offered to check if there was a quieter room available. She ended up upgrading me for free and even specifically asked housekeeping to provide two extra bottles of water. Upon entering the room, I found the view from the window to be excellent, which was a pleasant surprise.
In the afternoon, while relaxing in the lounge, Kiko came over and handed me a cup of ginger tea, saying, 'Have something warm.' I casually mentioned wanting to explore but not knowing where to go. She immediately pulled out her phone and diligently helped me plan a small itinerary – Futang Old Street and the Brown Sugar Factory – with no backtracking, and even clearly marked the taxi pick-up spots.
The next day at check-out, I asked about the best way to get to the high-speed train station. She said, 'Let me hail a car for you,' and after arranging it, she wrote down the license plate number and estimated time on a note and handed it to me. The entire process was natural and thoughtful, without any pretense.
It's these small things that make you feel genuinely cared for. Thank you, Kiko.
