Enjoyed a warm welcome at Grand Hyatt Taipei on Friday 1st Nov after the super typhoon Kong Rey hit on 31st Oct. The room was ready for us when we arrived at 3pm. We did not get the Taipei 101 view - will get it next visit🤭. Hotel gave us late check out at 2pm….really wonderful! And please enjoy breakfast at the hotel…the variety is huge! Nearest mrt is at Taipei 101. Recommended… yes lots of rumours that it’s ******* etc but we did not feel or see anything weird.

The Grand Hotel is very grand and impressive, with service and amenities top notch. The place is so big, they have golf carts to drive you to the gym/pool area if needed. Clean, great staff and lots of history in this place, however the furniture and fittings are aging just like the hotel itself. Maybe a refresh is needed, or a serious deep carpet clean, and location wise, it's on top of a hill so not very central or that close to an MRT (10 minute walk apparently). If you like taking taxis, or want to impress relatives who live locally, then stay here. I've done it once, but prefer locality over spaciousness, so won't be staying here again.

It's a beautiful and new hotel. Around there is not much but construction. It's around 20 min from the city by taxi. The staff was really nice and friendly, room layout good. The Japanese breakfast for the room service was also good.

The overall experience is good. This Mandarin Oriental's setting overall feels a bit small in terms of lobby waiting area. Feels like it's separated into many different parts. Room layout is nice. Water pressure is very strong. Breakfast is good. Gym facilities are not the newest but sufficient for a decent workout.

the corner room we stayed at, it’s spacious and with nice park behind… buffet breaths great with varieties… a perfect lounge with nice food like buffet and drinks (incl. soft drinks, beer and wine)…. Excellent service at any corners…

Dear Doubletree by Hilton Taipei, I would like to offer my compliments to your dedicated team for our very enjoyable stay in your hotel from 3-7 June 2024. We stayed in rooms 1203 and 1205 and the reservation was made under Ms Erica Tan. I had stayed in some 5 star hotels such as Shang Ri La Singapore, Westin Singapore, Ritz Carlton Singapore, Kempinski Xiamen to name a few but my stay in Doubletree by Hilton Taipei was one of the most comfortable and pleasant. The check in by the warm and friendly reception staff was efficient and smooth. When my daughter accidentally dropped one of the delicious welcome Hilton cookies on the floor, the reception staff quickly replaced it with a warm smile. When my daughter teared after knowing that there isn’t a swimming pool in the premise, your reception staff, Tina, immediately walked up to us with a map and suggested that we can go to a nearby swimming pool facilities. Tina also gave us some excellent food suggestions. We had a very satisfying and affordable meal at the Michelin recommended Ji Jia Zhuan ( 鸡家庄）, thanks to her recommendation :) Whenever we return to the hotel from a day of sightseeing, the reception team on duty never failed to greet us in a warm and friendly manner. We felt genuinely welcomed:) The modern Japandi style rooms and bathrooms are kept in an excellent condition and feel brand new. We especially like how bright, airy and spacious the rooms are. Kudos to the housekeepers ( Ms Cai Xiu Hui 蔡秀慧阿姨) on level 12 who kept our rooms 1203 and 1205 so clean and comfortable. They always chat amicably with us and confirmed with us if we need any housekeeping service. The TV entertainment system with its 47 channels ( including TLC, Discovery) , Netflix, YouTube and IQiYi really impressed us. The semi buffet style daily breakfast sets ( Chinese, Japanese and Western) are healthy and delish and we really looked forward to breakfast every morning. We hope that Chinese baos （包子）and dim sum pastry such as you tiao ( 油条、蛋饼）can also be offered in future when we next pay a visit to your hotel :) We would also like to thank your reception staff and housekeepers who helped my mom who stayed in room 1205 on 6 June when the toilet encountered some flushing issues. My mom had approached the reception staff at around 4 pm on 6 June and the very helpful male reception staff accompanied her to her room and helped remediate the problem along with the housekeeper. She was very impressed by how efficient and friendly your staff were. All in all, your team has done a great job in our stay. Their service attitude are genuine and warm :) My daughter enjoyed her stay so much that she kept remarking she would like to extend our stay to 2 more weeks:) We hope you will pass on the compliments to your team and the staff we named, as a gesture of our appreciation.

We chose a Japanese-style tatami room. The room was smaller than expected. Basically, we couldn’t use the bathroom because we went to soak in the public pool. The supplies in the room were from Shi Shuya. All the drinks in the refrigerator were free of charge. The complimentary rice The fruit and pancakes are also delicious. The breakfast is small but beautiful, and the taste is refreshing and delicious. The view from the restaurant is the Beitou Hot Spring Museum, which is very beautiful. The hotel has free tea ceremony viewing and tea tasting. There are also many scenes for taking photos in the hotel, which is a very relaxing environment.

Like this hotel for its staff being helpful and its room being clean. Room facility is adequate for my 8 nights business trip. Breakfast option may not be as many as other similar franchise hotel. However, I am there for business trip not personal tourist. Hence, I am happy for this stay.

The room is supreme and comfortable when you need hot springs anytime. The location was far beyond the city or city. The view was excellent for photo taking for the background.
