Its design beautifully marries Minnan culture with modern minimalism, featuring handcrafted terracotta tiles, traditional Chinese corridors, and reflective water features, all exuding a sophisticated elegance. The guest rooms are fully equipped: the mattress and bedding are incredibly comfortable and skin-friendly, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the heated bathroom adds to the unparalleled comfort. The service was exemplary; my butler, Molly, was incredibly responsive, anticipated my needs proactively, and provided thoughtful courtesies, making my stay truly exceptional. The service felt like a gentle breeze, with meticulous butler-style care, and the turndown service with a nightly drink and sleep spray added an extra touch of warmth. With an infinity pool, hot stone spa, and sunset cocktails at the Long Bar, the hotel offers abundant amenities, making it easy to stay in and fully immerse yourself. It truly delivers a luxurious experience for both body and mind. Highly recommended when visiting Xiamen!

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is less than a 20-minute walk from Takasaki Airport T3 terminal, making it incredibly convenient for layovers or early morning flights. The rooms are clean, tidy, spacious, and comfortable, with modern amenities. A huge bonus is the lake view from the window – it's really therapeutic to just sit by the window and relax on a nice day.
The interior also features many decorations and small ornaments that incorporate Xiamen's local culture, giving you a taste of the local atmosphere even during a short stay. The front desk service is warm and attentive, and they even offer free late-night snacks, which is a thoughtful touch. The hotel also includes an airport shuttle service, so you don't have to worry about rushing to your flight; the hotel car gets you to the airport in less than 5 minutes, saving you both hassle and time.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my experience and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Xiamen!👍

SSmilEedididiThis was my first stay at a Novotel, an Accor brand, and overall it was quite good.
The location is excellent, very close to both the airport and Xiamen Station. It's also right next to a subway station, practically at your doorstep. The hotel is a standalone building, so soundproofing is very good, and the WiFi speed is decent; screen mirroring worked without much lag. The room was spacious, equipped with a smart toilet and electric curtains. However, the shower was a letdown – the water pressure was low, and the water temperature wasn't hot enough. The breakfast was pretty good too, offering both Chinese and Western options.
Overall, the hotel is nice, and the service is great, apart from the shower issue.

FFengjingmanyouzheI did a lot of research before coming to Xiamen and had a tough time choosing, as accommodation, food, and transport are all crucial parts of a trip. I'm so glad I finally picked the InterContinental Hotel!
The room was spacious and bright, with direct views of the sea and the Mazu statue. The high ceilings made the space feel even larger and very comfortable. The room was also very quiet, so I had an excellent rest.
The staff were all incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, always proactively asking if I needed anything and doing their best to provide convenient services in every way.
The breakfast, buffet lunch, and executive dinner were all excellent, especially the pastries which were exquisite and delicious. I don't usually eat a lot of Western pastries, but the ones at InterContinental really suited my taste!
My week-long trip, from the city of Xiamen itself, its scenery, dining, culture, to the hotel I stayed in, was all delightful and enjoyable. It made me reluctant to leave this perfect holiday experience. If I ever get the chance to visit Xiamen again, the InterContinental Hotel will definitely be my first choice.

BBen Ong SGOur experience at Jingmin Hotel is fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly with special thanks to one of their staff, Mr. Riley, who went the extra mile to assist my son when he required medical assistance.
The location is also very convenient, with lots of eatery nearby and just a short walk to the metro.
The room is also very clean with good WiFi.

QQrenshengdeyixujinhuanThis older, star-rated hotel is incredibly well-maintained. The hygiene and service are both excellent. You can even enjoy sea views of Gulangyu Island and the Twin Towers from your room. The interior is modern and minimalist, clearly having undergone a renovation. I was in a rush and didn't get to try breakfast. Parking is convenient, and it's very close to Zhonghua City and Zhongshan Road. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, which is a big plus. They even gave me a free fridge magnet!

RRich♍This hotel is centrally located in Xiamen, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere on the island within a 20-minute drive. Unlike other hotels in Xiamen that boast sea views, Le Meridien offers a unique experience, nestled halfway up Mount Xian Yue. Its overall style resembles a mountain resort, allowing you to wake up to the sound of birdsong. The rooms feature balconies, perfect for stepping out and breathing in the fresh, natural air – very relaxing. The breakfast selection is also extensive, and I highly recommend the Shacha noodles; they are authentically delicious. As a loyal Le Meridien guest, I will definitely choose to stay here again on future trips to Xiamen. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserThe experience at the Xiamen Portman Seven Star Bay Hotel far exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself resembles a castle and even has its own 'Portman Town' connected by an electric shuttle, though it's only a 5-minute walk. Strolling through it felt like being in the world of Harry Potter, perfect for photos. We visited when it was decorated with a snowy theme, adding an extra touch of romance. Inside the hotel, you can even take pictures with 'walking' lions and leopards, which was a lot of fun.
The breakfast was incredibly rich, featuring a wide array of Chinese and Western dishes, hot and cold drinks, and thoughtfully included local Xiamen delicacies like satay noodles and oyster vermicelli soup. The dining environment was also very elegant. Our room was decorated in a vintage French style, spacious with an expansive view of the beautiful sea.
The hotel facilities were comprehensive and the entire place was clean and well-maintained. There's a gym, a swimming pool, a rock climbing area, and a children's water park. The hotel itself is an excellent vacation destination; with its French garden-like setting and various unique buildings, you could easily spend a day or two without even leaving. The complimentary travel photography service was also a thoughtful touch. Right outside, you'll find a seaside promenade with large lawns and coconut groves, and in the evening, you can enjoy music and fireworks at the beachside bar. The nearby Sunshine Town food street offers delicious local cuisine, with the pan-fried red paste crab being particularly tasty.
In summary, this is an excellent choice for a leisurely getaway. If you visit outside of peak holiday seasons, the value for money is outstanding. Highly recommended!

The lobby lounge area is also very spacious, and the evening happy hour was a nice touch. The hotel's pineapple cakes were delicious. The room was simple yet elegant, with a very soft mattress and comfortable duvet. The 24-hour check-out policy is a huge plus! 👍

GG-Y-QIt's the off-season in Xiamen, so hotel prices were relatively cheap, and they upgraded me to a sea-view room. Breakfast was at the Marriott and had a great variety. This is my third time staying at this hotel... However, today when I tried to extend my stay, the front desk deliberately made things difficult, which was a bit frustrating.
