YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic. The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient. Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese. The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

JJIAAAAZZThe room was quite spacious for Japan, and the service was very friendly. The hotel had a really pleasant fragrance. The night view of Osaka Castle from the top floor in the evening was a real highlight, and the nearby restaurants were also delicious. The breakfast provided was pretty good too. The only minor inconvenience was that to go down from your room, you had to take the elevator to the top floor first and then switch to another elevator to reach the first floor. Other than that, everything was great.

XXiemimiThe hotel view is absolutely fantastic, offering a great cityscape of Osaka. From the better room types, you get a direct view of a large area of Umeda, including the train station. The decor is European style, though it feels a bit 'knock-off' – like a fake European imitation. The details don't hold up under close inspection, and the cleanliness is noticeably not as good as in Tokyo. They're very generous with amenities, providing a lot. Breakfast is à la carte, suitable for those who enjoy Western breakfast; I found it pretty good, and the bread was quite tasty. There was a musty smell in the room, so overall, it didn't feel very high-end. The bedding was also quite ordinary. Its strengths are definitely the view and the value for money.

3300852****Spending the weekend here, it's incredibly convenient to stay in Umeda for shopping and dining. The Autograph Collection by Marriott is a new addition, located inside the KITTE mall. The second-floor walkway connects directly to Daimaru and Hankyu, making it easy to get anywhere – you won't even need an umbrella if it rains. For two adults and one child, the price was 4000 a night. The scenic double room with a 1.5-size bed is perfect for families with kids. The room isn't small, and the slippers are thick and soft, definitely deserving full marks. The vanity comes fully stocked with toiletries, from makeup remover to facial cream. If you're not picky about brands, you literally don't need to bring anything. Breakfast was busy. You can order Eggs Benedict and omelets à la carte, with other items available for self-service. The variety is actually quite good, and everything is prepared with care. The bread selection is excellent, likely supplied by a bakery. For noodles and rice, you need to walk to the very back. There's also freshly made Mont Blanc dessert. Fruits like cantaloupe are also of very high quality. Overall, highly recommended! The KITTE building itself, where the hotel is located, is also great for browsing. The 4th to 6th floors have many restaurants and eateries without long queues, plus a market featuring local specialties from different parts of Japan, well worth a visit. On B1, there's a Family Mart and a drugstore, which is incredibly convenient.

__cangyueI've always loved the style of W Hotels, and choosing the W Osaka this time was definitely the right decision. **Facilities:** The facilities are comprehensive, truly befitting a five-star hotel. The breakfast was also delicious, and the gym, swimming pool, and other amenities were all fully equipped. **Cleanliness:** Spotless, no complaints there. **Environment:** The 'nightclub' vibe of the environment is fantastic! There are also many great places to eat nearby. I highly recommend the Blue Bottle Coffee downstairs. It's also very close to Shinsaibashi and Namba, basically within walking distance. The subway is convenient too, and Daimaru is just across the street diagonally, making shopping very easy. **Service:** Everyone was very enthusiastic, and most staff offered Chinese language service. English communication was also not an issue. I will definitely choose W Hotels in other locations in the future.

2200878****The service was excellent, especially from the Chinese-speaking staff! They were enthusiastic, proactive, and full of energy, which made our trip much more convenient. The hotel's location is superb, with a subway station directly on the B2 level and Daimaru department store right across the street. Shinsaibashi is just behind Daimaru. Cleanliness is absolutely no concern, and the toiletries are La Mer. The buffet breakfast offers both Western and Japanese options. We chose Western both days, and the restaurant staff promptly accommodated our request to sit by the window. The pastries at Nikko's breakfast are delicious; I highly recommend trying them and not being afraid of the sweetness – it's likely the rich flavor from Hokkaido milk, which I really enjoyed. Overall, I think staying at Hotel Nikko in Osaka is great in every aspect.

LLizzie_8181Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room. The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds). Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid. There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games. As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well. Thanks Swissotel

AAoniguiguiThe location is truly exceptional. Step right out, and you're practically in Umeda, Osaka's prime shopping area. Major department stores like Daimaru and Lucua 1100 are just a 5-8 minute walk away, offering a vast selection of brands and convenient in-store tax refunds. JR train access is also excellent; Universal Studios is less than 20 minutes away with a super convenient same-platform transfer. The airport limousine bus stop is also just a 3-minute walk, making airport transfers incredibly easy. The hotel was clean, and the service was attentive. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

TTanuoI stayed for six nights. The subway station is just a few hundred meters away, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel is located in a quiet area, not directly in the tourist hustle, but getting anywhere by subway is very easy. There's an exceptionally delicious tsukemen place nearby, along with many other izakayas and restaurants, all frequented by locals. Downstairs, you'll find a 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and a mid-sized supermarket that's well-stocked and affordable. The bathroom is spacious, and the room size is decent. Above all, the value for money is superb, and the hotel itself feels very new. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
