Delaire Graff Lodges and Spa

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We had a room upgrade on our arrival and we were allowed to have an early check in. The grounds of this hotel are to die for, the rooms are exceeding all your expectations, the restaurants, the wine tasting (which was included free of charge during our staying) are simply the best. The staff is always there to help you and fulfill all your wishes. If you are planning to stay in Stellenbosch, this is your place! Or at least come for a wine tasting. This is how ,y love with Delaire Graff started and eventually I ended up staying in this hotel during this visit, I came for wine tasting during my trip in 2019 and I knew, that I will be back to stay with them. And I know for sure, I will be back!! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Excellent stay in the heart of Stellenbosch. The friendly staff makes all the difference. Great restaurant, best dinner we've had in a long time, excellent local wine selection. Very comfortable room, large bathroom. Off street parking. I can really recommend this small hotel to anyone who is visiting Stellenbosch. Good value for money.

Returned to this well positioned hotel with spectacular views of the mountain range - It is close to all the best places to visit - From the moment our reservation was confirmed by the friendly Duty Manager: Leroy, all was good - Leroy is exceptionally passionate about the hospitality industry and well knowledge to recommend places of interest - The Front Office Manager: Miriam was just great and infinitely accommodating - we appreciated her patience and faultless approach to ensure a memorable staB - breakfast is 5*, although the property opted for 3* rating - The croissants were of the best. All rooms have good views and here is enough to keep kids entertained.
Asara Wine Estate & Hotel

We are currently in Asara and are blown away by the view, room and overall ambiance. I booked based on reviews (not the restaurant) and we are VERY happy with the accommodations. The staff has been most pleasant. Upon arrival up the beautiful long driveway, we were met by a porter who took our bags right to the room - not an easy task - it was a bit of a (gorgeous) trek and up stairs for the deluxe rooms. The room is gorgeous and I could host 20 people on this balcony! What a view!! Very quiet, away from the town only by a short car ride. Wine tasting was fine, no option for pairing, but really there are so many places to choose around town. Very tasty fudge for turndown service! Should sell it!!

Stayed for 1 night in a one bedroom, garden suite - staff at reception does go the extra mile - while the one bedroom suites (apartment) is about 3 times larger than the standard rooms, due to a separate lounge, small kitchenette and an outside private garden, the rooms itself is EXTREMELY small, with only a tv in the lounge - the shower is over the bath, unlike the standard rooms that has a shower only - the mattress in our room was VERY HARD - although the property has spectacular surroundings of the mountain range, the suites whether on the first floor with balcony does not afford itself a view of the surroundings - ladies should note there is no bar soap, or even a shampoo in the bathrooms - most disappointing was the breakfast - it is NOT a buffet and ONLY some serials, a fruit bowl and 1 yogurt - NO cheeses, cold meats, or even different breads, rolls etc. - I did note it is a 4* hotel, however not even scons, croissants, or a muffin - a hot breakfast is served on order, which was quite nice - overall the service is fine, but the chef might want to review the breakfast offering, when considering the overall hotel rates - the restaurant and bar is shared between golfers and hotel guest and while we had lunch, the nicotine of the smokers sitting at the bar, reeked throughout the restaurant - it is my opinion that this is an ideal venue for golf enthusiast.
