Nina Kilyan a minute ago on Google 1/5 I do not know where to Start. We had a horrible, disgusting, disgusting. The bathroom were so dirty. It was the most disgusting place you can ever imagine. There was a party next to our hotel room, it was so LOUD. They were running back and forth down the hallway screaming. My 9 month baby woke up 3 times, my in-laws and I did not sleep all night. I for sure think it was the receptionist friends. because I called so many times to complain that every time she was going up I would hear her whisper to them to be silent. After my 6th complaint I heard the guy saying room 217 is complaining. Right when I heard them my heart stopped. I though we were going to die. My mother in law said did he just say our room number?? They kept knocking on my door all-night we were so scared to open the door. After many complaints finally called once again and told the receptionist I was calling the police . She came upstairs and told them to leave instead they partied outside with loud music wanted to leave the hotel that same night but we were so afraid that we were going to die. I waited till 7 am until those losers fell asleep so we can escape. This guy is a complete liar. They gave out my room number. There camera doesn't even work, their own staff stated that. I tried calling the manger numerous times and left plenty of voice mails and still no call back. This place is trash. Protect your family at all costs

We are a military family who traveled home to visit for the holidays. We had two rooms. One had to be changed 3 times. Window and door were both cracked and we arrived after 10pm that night. Toilet didnt work, tv didnt work, sheets were dirty, carpet was dirty. The bathroom faucet wasnt working. And the other room had to be changed twice. The walls were very thin. The rooms are very worn. There was a constant smell of ********* and it was very noisy with people jumping, walking and talking all day and night. We stayed because I waited too late to book a place that was pet friendly and everything was full. The first night that we were there, the man at the desk was super nice. Within in the next two nights, we came in at about 5 am because we had something going on with family. We were supposed to check out but we needed sleep. I went to talk to whom I later discovered was the manager or the GM. He said that my dogs had been barking all night, (which they only bark if someone is at the door or trying to get in the door). He told me that we could not stay, which was fine with me. But he was EXTREMELY RUDE for no reason. I spoke to the guy at the desk when we were checking out the next day and he told me that he is always that way. I would not recommend my military counterparts to ever visit this hotel. Or anyone else for that matter. Not until they update it and change things, number 1, changing the GM. Have a great day!

My family of 8 visited this hotel as part of a hockey tournament. As a family of 8 we need the MAX amount of room we can get in a room and reserved a 2 bed ”suite” as their website called it. Their website clearly says that this room as a ”separate seating area” with a pull out couch. Like 99% of hotels that advertise this, this usually means there's a separate room. All there was, was a couch on the far side of one of the beds. There were no pictures of this room on their website either, its blank. Appears they really do try and mislead you. We like the separate room so our younger kids can go to bed early and the older ones stay up a bit later, very hard to achieve in a room of this style. The house keeping staff were also very rude. The Saturday morning of our visit, before we left (8am) we asked that our room be cleaned in the morning. We returned at 1pm, room not cleaned. We started preparing lunch when there was a knock on the door with the staff wanting to clean. We told them we were having lunch and they persisted, indicating they wanted to go home and they had to do our room....uncomfortable! On our last day, we asked for a late check out so our 6 kids could use the pool and it was no issue. 30 minute prior to our departure, there was another knock on the door - housekeeping - they were rude, telling us we should not be there and they needed to clean the room. We told them we had a late checkout and it was a Sunday night, there was no way that they were going to be busy with check in's that night anyways, they stormed off. The pool was nice and warm, but never had towels. We went down on Sunday at opening and there were no towels, one would assume you would do the laundry over night and when you open the pool in the morning it would be fully stocked. The breakfast was good and the hotel was in good shape.

All there was, was a couch on the far side of one of the beds. There were no pictures of this room on their website either, its blank. Appears they really do try and mislead you. We like the separate room so our younger kids can go to bed early and the older ones stay up a bit later, very hard to achieve in a room of this style. The house keeping staff were also very rude. The Saturday morning of our visit, before we left (8am) we asked that our room be cleaned in the morning. We returned at 1pm, room not cleaned. We started preparing lunch when there was a knock on the door with the staff wanting to clean. We told them we were having lunch and they persisted, indicating they wanted to go home and they had to do our room....uncomfortable! On our last day, we asked for a late check out so our 6 kids could use the pool and it was no issue. 30 minute prior to our departure, there was another knock on the door - housekeeping - they were rude, telling us we should not be there and they needed to clean the room. We told them we had a late checkout and it was a Sunday night, there was no way that they were going to be busy with check in's that night anyways, they stormed off. The pool was nice and warm, but never had towels. We went down on Sunday at opening and there were no towels, one would assume you would do the laundry over night and when you open the pool in the morning it would be fully stocked. The breakfast was good and the hotel was in good shape.

There was a party next to our hotel room, it was so LOUD. They were running back and forth down the hallway screaming. My 9 month baby woke up 3 times, my in-laws and I did not sleep all night. I for sure think it was the receptionist friends. because I called so many times to complain that every time she was going up I would hear her whisper to them to be silent. After my 6th complaint I heard the guy saying room 217 is complaining. Right when I heard them my heart stopped. I though we were going to die. My mother in law said did he just say our room number?? They kept knocking on my door all-night we were so scared to open the door. After many complaints finally called once again and told the receptionist I was calling the police . She came upstairs and told them to leave instead they partied outside with loud music wanted to leave the hotel that same night but we were so afraid that we were going to die. I waited till 7 am until those losers fell asleep so we can escape. This guy is a complete liar. They gave out my room number. There camera doesn't even work, their own staff stated that. I tried calling the manger numerous times and left plenty of voice mails and still no call back. This place is trash. Protect your family at all costs

This location was a bit run down. I’ve stayed at several holiday inns in the past 6mos and this location was one of the bottom. They still had tubs and curtains. The newer nicer locations have nice walking showers. With the tub there was mold in the corners and the ceilings are buckling. I was charged double but I will say it was fixed quickly. Staff was extremely nice. The hotels upkeep was just not up to my personal liking. The location of the hotel was why I selected it. It was near absolutely everything and anything you could think of...... mall, shopping, outback, Friday’s, longhorn, chili’s, red lobster, etc.

Within in the next two nights, we came in at about 5 am because we had something going on with family. We were supposed to check out but we needed sleep. I went to talk to whom I later discovered was the manager or the GM. He said that my dogs had been barking all night, (which they only bark if someone is at the door or trying to get in the door). He told me that we could not stay, which was fine with me. But he was EXTREMELY RUDE for no reason. I spoke to the guy at the desk when we were checking out the next day and he told me that he is always that way. I would not recommend my military counterparts to ever visit this hotel. Or anyone else for that matter. Not until they update it and change things, number 1, changing the GM. Have a great day!

This hotel has exceptional staff who maintain the entire premises and work so hard , the hotel is extremely clean and modern with beautiful fixtures , starting with the rooms, as a parent it was important to us to be sure that our kids were sleeping somewhere clean and safe. This hotel surpassed our expectations. The lobby seating area is just really pretty and huge , the breakfast is great , Truly loved the egg white omelette btw - thank you Vivian who was there the first morning , she made sure our needs were met and continued to clean and refill the breakfast being served there was never a shortage and offered a variety of options for breakfast . The location is very convenient , there are so many shops around. This will always be our go to hotel when we are visiting Michigan , due to the lovely staff and how well they maintain this entire hotel including their friendly services . Thank you all , Keep up the amazing work !!

The size of the room and the offered amenities within it (stove, fridge, kitchen towels, etc) were wonderful. However, the couch cushions had debris and dog hair on them. In the corners and along the baseboards in the room and in the hallway, there was debris and dust. When you allow dogs to stay at your hotel or have made renovations, you have to increase the cleaning effort. And there waa staff assigned to the front desk; however if the staff had to step away, there was no way to alert them of your presence. Not even a simple bell. The staff was extremely friendly, I just needed to figure out how to let them know that I arrived abd required assistance.

We told them we had a late checkout and it was a Sunday night, there was no way that they were going to be busy with check in's that night anyways, they stormed off. The pool was nice and warm, but never had towels. We went down on Sunday at opening and there were no towels, one would assume you would do the laundry over night and when you open the pool in the morning it would be fully stocked. The breakfast was good and the hotel was in good shape.

Nina Kilyan a minute ago on Google 1/5 I do not know where to Start. We had a horrible, disgusting, disgusting. The bathroom were so dirty. It was the most disgusting place you can ever imagine. There was a party next to our hotel room, it was so LOUD. They were running back and forth down the hallway screaming. My 9 month baby woke up 3 times, my in-laws and I did not sleep all night. I for sure think it was the receptionist friends. because I called so many times to complain that every time she was going up I would hear her whisper to them to be silent. After my 6th complaint I heard the guy saying room 217 is complaining. Right when I heard them my heart stopped. I though we were going to die. My mother in law said did he just say our room number?? They kept knocking on my door all-night we were so scared to open the door. After many complaints finally called once again and told the receptionist I was calling the police . She came upstairs and told them to leave instead they partied outside with loud music wanted to leave the hotel that same night but we were so afraid that we were going to die. I waited till 7 am until those losers fell asleep so we can escape. This guy is a complete liar. They gave out my room number. There camera doesn't even work, their own staff stated that. I tried calling the manger numerous times and left plenty of voice mails and still no call back. This place is trash. Protect your family at all costs
