I stayed at Citybox Stockholm from July 8th to July 12th, 2026. For the first three nights, I was traveling alone (I’m a woman), and it was actually my first solo trip. I felt very safe during my entire stay, which was really important to me.
My room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. I had booked a twin room because a friend joined me later in my stay. The bathroom was spotless, and everything was exactly what I expected from the hotel.
I also really liked the security system where you need your key card to enter the hotel after a certain hour. It made me feel even safer.
There are two shared refrigerators, a coffee machine (the coffee was around €2.27, which I thought was reasonable), plenty of seating areas to relax, eat, charge your devices, or work. The common areas were always clean and pleasant. There’s also a TV and some books available in the lobby, which is a nice touch.
The only small downside was my room’s window. It faced a public staircase, so there were always people walking by, and it felt like people could easily see into the room unless the curtains were closed. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer more privacy.
The snack and drink vending machine wasn’t working during my stay, but that wasn’t a big deal.
Overall, I had a great experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, secure, and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it, especially for solo travelers.
