Holiday Inn Express STOKE ON TRENT by IHG

Carpark need to pay SEPARATELY, REMEMBER TO KEY IN your car plate on the touch screen in the lobby Upon Arrival. Basic room, basic breakfast. Get to make our own pancakes. All was good for our own The Great Pottery tour, visited a few studios.

Used the hotel for an overnight stay before heading to Alton Towers the following day. Clean, tidy, efficient. Ticked all the boxes when it came to a quick stop. Reasonably priced too.

a good pitstop for when you are going to alton towers! affordable although beware of the bar pricing as we paid over £20 for two drinks.

Just so noisy with kids running up and down the corridors, no parents in sight. Then breakfast time, kids and their parents stood around in the servery after a dodgy nights sleep finished off a not so nice stay. Put card door controls on the stair doors maybe. The room was fairly clean but the stairwells were dirty. The cups in my room had not been washed.

Travelled for work, very kindly allowed staff easy check in process and nice clean rooms. highly recommend.

I went for the football. The hotel is a short walk from the ground. There is a good pub right next door, there is also a bar at the hotel. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed for an overnight stay. I got a taxi from the station which was £8. Very happy with everything.

Nice hotel, clean and in a good location. Very good price, including breakfast. The receptionist was great in sorting out vegetarian breakfast, ordered a couple of hours before we had it. Was done at the perfect time. Only complaint was breakfast only served until 10am, but we knew this when we booked. £76 for one night, 2 adults, 2 kids, breakfast included for all = very good value for money.

It’s not my first time in this hotel and I keep coming back when I need to stay in Stoke. Clean, comfy, great friendly staff, super location, breakfast is pretty good too. It’s a busy place and they’re always very accommodating. Needless to say I’ll be back there again when I’m in Stoke.
