Very pleased with our stay here. We had no problem parking in the car park. Met by friendly receptionist. Cleanliness of the room was excellent. Places to eat nearby. Would certainly stay again.

There is no AC and limited window opening. The manager is so frienly and helpful easy to get to plenty of parking and quiet through the night. Pub next door friendly and breakfast available Fri, Sat & Sun 8am till 11 so easy to walk across for drinks in the evening and walk back to bed

Having arrived at the hotel late, (11.50 pm ish) in extremely hot weather, after leaving a hotel who had radiators on in 34+ degrees! I was welcomed by Tin, who went out of his way to provide a room for myself and a brachycephalic dog. He was thoughtful and found a ground floor room, offered a fan to go with my fan, and was truly attentive to be as helpful as possible. Tin deserves recognition for his excellent customer service.

When we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist Jackie. She was very warm, friendly, chatty and helpful. She gave us directions to Morrisons telling us to be careful crossing the busy roundabout. She also let us help ourselves to more tea bags. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and had an excellent shower, we didn't want to get out of it.

We were a group of 4 cycling between Bath and Bournemouth. We arrived tired late Saturday afternoon with 4 bicycles. The team of staff at the Travelodge were friendly and professional. They were incredibly helpful by letting us store the bikes in the laundry room rather than outside. The rooms were spacious and the showers were good. We could easily walk into town for a good meal in the evening. It was convenient to have Macdonald next door for our early Sunday morning breakfast. We would recommend the Wincanton Travelodge.

When we arrived at this hotel we didn't expect much, it's one on the highway close to the road and seems a bit small. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The staff are kind and helpful. Very talkative which is nice if your new to the area, a very love atmosphere! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the house keeping staff have clearly been doing a good job! The breakfast-while not a buffet (who doesn't love a buffet?) is still filling and yummy too! I will say the noise does travel a bit, but it's right next to the highway what do you expect, you know? I still managed to sleep well regardless of the noise! t's also right next to the wagtail which I highly recommend! Will definitely stay again!

Room - Immaculate, fan was running when we entered which was lovely on such a hot day. Staff - A mahusive shout out to the two beautiful ladies on reception, Seonaid & Eva. They went above and beyond to help out with my allergy and we so kind to myself, my children and our service dog Dogs - All dogs are welcome but the staff gave an extra special welcome to our service dog who gets nervous around strangers and other dogs Would we come back again? HELL YEAH 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the description of the room when you book:- Suitable for 2 Adults "Comfy king size Dreamer™ bed" ANSWER - the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in in the last year and I have travelled across France & Spain this year too. The bed was sinking in the middle and was lumpy; it was horrible. - "Ensuite bathroom with shower and complimentary hand, hair & body wash Lavazza a modo mio capsule coffee machine and tea making facilities" ANSWER -We stayed 2 nights but only got hot chocolate on one night had to ask for coffee pods at the reception - Complimentary premium refreshments USB charging points by the bed Bedside reading lights "Spacious desk with lamp and plug sockets, and desk chair" ANSWER - Not quite sure what they mean by Spacious, there was nothing spacious about the room, it was a very small room, only just enough room to walk down one side of the bed, No hooks, drawers, or shelves for anything. Nowhere to put your case. Blackout curtains "Comfortable armchair" ANSWER -Just a basic chair with no arms - "TV with Freeview" ANSWER- Very small TV - "Cosy 10.5 tog duvet, 4 plump pillows" ANSWER - I asked for a lower tog duvet as the room was very hot, but they do not have any, can only give you a sheet, and the pillows were hard and lumpy - "Set of fresh white towels" ANSWER - 2 bath towels and only one hand towel and no bath mat to stand on when you got out of the bath just a slippery floor - Room located on a dedicated floor "Available on request "Hairdryers and irons available from reception." ANSWER - Considering that we paid £100 per night, I think they could have suppied a hairdryer in the room for that price - Cots - please contact hotel to confirm availability I would not recommend this hotel and having stayed in a Travelodge several times I would not choose one again. I used to think they were good value but £100 a night I expect something a lot better. I cannot select very poor, but certainly not excellent in any way Poor quality small room which cost £100 per night - I think it is expensive for what you get.

We’ve stayed here for well over a year now for at least two nights a week on business. We have to say the best staff member without doubt is Tom.. he always seems to be on shift and does a great job. The room is what you expect . my girlfriend enjoys the really nice hot shower and the clean room. Thanks, Tom. Keep up the great work….

Wincanton. Brilliant!! Rooms are basic but, with kettle and TV and clean. The staff are, absolutely, fantastic. They respect privacy but, are always there with queries or any issues. They made my stay easier because they're ALL so friendly 😍😍
