Travelodge Stafford M6

The location of this hotel was just what I needed but I booked without doing my usual research and didn’t realise the hotel was so outdated. Travelodge needs to rip out the whole interior and bring it up to modern standards. It wasn’t any cheaper than my other recent stays with another hotel chain but it was well below par. I hate that sinking feeling when you arrive at the door to your room and want to run away and if I hadn’t been so tired would have just left immediately.

Wonderful little stop off hotel. Despite being on M6, it's far enough off road in the services that you don't hear traffic. Services have good carparking - we arrived 10pm on a Thursday night - no issues. Hotel registered our car at reception. Clean and well decorated room. Very spacious for a Travelodge (we do use a lot). Fan in room (thank you!!!) and window opens - we were on the front but no real noise which was good. Reception lovely and polite greeting us and on leaving. Services have good options for breakfast.

Lovely clean room, functional as you would expect from a Travelodge, the major difference here after a long journey to get here, to be met by two of the friendliest staff I have ever had the good fortune to meet Taylor and Kelly, hats off to you, your employer must be delighted to have two dedicated staff that have gone the extra mile to make us feel welcome, but even helped us with accurate directions to get here, thanks again girls, John W

Room exceptionally clean, great facilities, USB and USBc charging points next to the bed. Bathroom really clean and a great sized bath. Perfect stop over. Great parking I would definitely go back.

Rooms were great, reception was extremely nice. Services down from the hotel, the services have a Costa, Pret , Burger King, KFC, WHSmith, M&S Foodhall, a nice seating place, and a park. One thing I would suggest to the hotel is add some entertainment or something because it was only rooms.

Fantastic place to stay, great location, we went as a family with our dog, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend and visit again

Had a lovely stay at Stafford m6 Keith and his team excellent. I would like to give a big thanks to Kelly on reception for being so accommodating and to Lauren the house keeper for such a lovely kleenex room. To be fair Keith and his whole team great. Thank all.

Fab location considering it’s on the M6. Kelly and Shell were extremely helpful and fun to deal with. My room was amazing and I would THOROUGHLY recommend staying here. Made my journey so much more bearable

We are a charity from Scotland and we take a group of young people down to Alton towers every year. We stayed in this Travelodge and had the best experience all the staff were incredible helpful and so kind. Special shout out to Kelly, Taylor, Alison , Jackie, Lucifer and Joe the bearded man!
