Welcoming and helpful staff at reception and in bar/ dining room. Nice comfortable, clean room with drinking water provided.

Lovely hotel.very clean. Bar and restaurant were great. A special mention must go to Gordon on reception for arranging our hotel room at the last minute for us.

Great location, lovely hotel. Room was absolutely perfect. It was really clean, quiet and cosy. Customer Service was really good when I checked in and checked out. The only thing I would say negatively is its quiet expensive for a Room Only basis. If they offered Corporate Rates I would come here every time I am working Stornoway.

Very convenient location with plenty of parking. Good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. Would have preferred walk-in shower. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Exceptionally good dinner.

Excellent hotel and restaurant with excellent staff who understand what great customer service means. Their restaurant is better, on a like for like comparison, with the so called best restaurant in the town!

Following a cool, lacklustre welcome, I found my room comfortable, clean and quiet. The public areas were very pleasant and the waiting staff were delightful. The food wasn't as good as on previous stays although the scrambled eggs at breakfast were really delicious. This hotel is THE place to stay in Stornoway. Just try being a bit more welcoming.

First time staying in the hotel. First impressions were good - nice open and relaxed reception area. Checking in was very easy and friendly staff. Room was good, Nespresso machine and lovely Stornoway shortbread waiting for me. Room was spotless (as was the rest of the hotel). It was a bit farther out of the centre of the town than I realised (about 15 minute walk) but the flip side of that was the area was nice an quiet and very close to golf course, gardens for a nice evening walk. Breakfast was very good – I had the Eggs Stornoway (local take on eggs benedict)! There were also a hot buffet and continental selection. Had an early start on check out day but the continental choice was available from 05:00 so was able to eat before leaving. I would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff and clean , fresh surroundings. I felt the mattresses on the bed in room 101 were either old or too soft, not sure which but very uncomfortable to sleep on. My room was otherwise immaculate. Attended a Ceilidh and meal and was disappointed to see paper napkins…maybe something to consider for the future. The meal was delicious
