The hotel's infrastructure is in a good sanitation environment and it is difficult to find a parking space in the city center. The most unbearable thing is that one of the rooms did not have a TV remote control. The reply I received after calling the front desk was that there was no way to solve it. A four-star hotel doesn't even have a spare TV remote control. Even if there is no spare remote control, the service staff can take one from the vacant room. The front desk staff was arrogant and lacking courtesy. I will never stay again next time.

We recently stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young children (4 and 5). Booking was seamless and easy bar some confusion over whether breakfast was or wasn't included. The hotel is in a phenomenal location in Petite France, however bear in mind as it is on a pedestrianized street there is very limited parking at the property. This isn't an issue as there is a public garage close by and the hotel has a subsidized rate of €18.50/night. The building itself is beautiful and historic with plenty of period detail. The rooms are old but well equipped and clean and they have character(wooden floors/beams etc.) Ours was a family room so there was a set of bunks which the children really loved. The added benefit of a Nespresso machine also went down well with the caffeine addict parents. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. There were plenty of towels provided and the hotel toiletries were of decent quality. There were only small niggles within a great overall stay. Namely a lack of seating and supplies at breakfast on both mornings and also our room wasn't cleaned even though we had requested it and we had been out for 6 hours. Overall would recommend and stay again.

Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

We stayed for one night in Strasbourg on our way from Austria to England. Absolutely delighted with our stay at the Hotel des Arts. It is in the very centre of all the attractions, less than 100 metres from the cathedral. It is in a pedestrianized area but the receprion recommended a car park that is 4 minutes walk away. The hotel itself is unpretentious but very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

This is one of the most underwhelming hotels I have stayed in. Pro’s: location is on tramline and a close walk to attractions. Staff were accommodating and the breakfast is good. Cons: if your room faces the street it is incredibly loud. Bring earplugs. Horns, tram, screaming. Pillows are hard, no plug anywhere near the bed to charge a phone. Dim lights/no overhead light. The room was painted very dark/no pictures on walls. Not cheerful at all. The hallway was red and looked like a toddler painted it. There were nice touches like a free chocolate but this place misses the mark.

We explored the third Strasbourg. This hotel is very central for this. Public transport is in the immediate vicinity. Footway is also very much to reach. Our room was very spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. Each room has an individual design. The beds are comfortable. The reception is very nice. A small manco we had at breakfast: the room is a little bit small so not all guests have to find or wait. The coffee machine has stretched, bad for me. Breakfast itself was moderate. I would recommend the hotel further!
