Great location and historic looking building. Some pf the interior is showing its age, but a relaxing place to stay, staff friendly and welcoming.

My girlfriend and I had a very pleasurable experience and felt it was great value for money, would stay again if in Stratford!

Lovely hotel great staff

Came here for a wedding. Asked for a 12 check in. However room wasn't ready till 12.45 but still charged me £25. Also the bar put all prices up which was absolutely disgusting. They charged me £13 for a pot of tea for two. All alcohol was double the price from the night before. Bag of crisps £5. There was absolutely no need to put prices up just because it was a wedding. Room was ok, no hot water at all! Windows all dirty, bath/ shower dirty Wasn't the cleanest of rooms Wouldn't stay here again.

Sevice at breakfast was very poor table's wasn't cleaned after you had finished eating service at the bar was very poor only one behind the bar we were there for a wedding so there were lots of guests wanting a drink

Good hotel, watch out for extra costs though.. Car parking, breakfast, having a small dog in the bedroom.

Great location, and beautiful grounds ~ parking was hard to find.  The room was clean and tidy, with a nice firm bed, the Weather was very warm, and even though there was a fan in the room the heat was stifling and so hot! The so called “air con” was useless!  The indoor swimming pool was a good size, but it was so incredibly hot in the building, it was hard to breathe!! (Open the doors to let some oxygen in!) The evening meal was good, as was the breakfast the following morning.  Quite expensive for a mediocre stay.  Lovely staff throughout.

Good hotel, but the air conditioning just worked properly in the morning therefore during the night we had to open the windows. Sleeping was not properly because the room is on the ground floor. We did’t ask the hotel in that night because we thought it is normally in the UK.

Inflexible service need to be more customer based. Other than that a pleasant enough place and easy access to where we needed to be

So close to the town. Staff were excellent and couldn’t fault it.

The hotel is ideally situated for a short trip to Stratford upon Avon. Just a short walk into the centre. The rooms are comfortable and the bed was large. Car parking is easy and plentiful. Not too expensive. On the downside (slightly) there is no lift. But only 2 floors. The staff that we dealt with were friendly and helpful. No issues required resolving. We didn’t use the leisure facilities.

A little dated but nice. Great location but rather expensive!

The location is very close to the city center.
