Except that the location is not as good as another five-star hotel, (the location is about 1 km away, but at night, when the lights of the two small islands are dim, this point is exceeded), everything else exceeds expectations.

Top quality hotel run by great staff. Lovely breakfast and dinner . Really nice pool area and sun beds available all the times we wanted them . The hotel is really nice in a great location to view the islands. The shuttle bus into town is great and is neccasary as the only downside is no footpath to the town and it’s a busy road

The Villa and Palazzo Aminta exceeded all our expectations. The level of service is second to none. It is truly exceptional. The entire team make you feel so special and welcome, always ensuring that everything is perfect. Especial thanks to Fabio, Eduardo, Aleksander, Paolo, Gregorio, Yulia, and Rossano. The hotel is fabulous with exquisite, elegant decor. The views are absolutely breathtaking, particularly when dining on the terrace. The cuisine is exciting and delicious, teamed with a superb range of wines. We enjoyed a truly wonderful experience.. .

A beautiful hotel. The staff were all so warm and welcoming and the food was excellent. Special thanks to Alexander and Julia who could not be more attentive. We loved the wonderful outdoor setting for our meals and drinks, with spectacular views over the lake and Borromean Islands. The only downside was that there are no walkways into Stresa so guests have to rely on the shuttle bus. However, saying that, the bus is frequent and will pick you up from Stresa after hours for a small fee. I also enjoyed the spa facilities and the massages offered were excellent. However, some of the staff members in the spa were more attentive and helpful than others. Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend the hotel and would go back. Thank you to all who looked after us making our break a relaxing and special one.

Our stay at was outstanding. Every member or staff went above and beyond, making us feel truly pampered with their exceptional care and attention. The hotel itself is luxurious, with beautifully designed rooms and a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend and would definitely go back!

From the start of our stay until we left, we felt like the Villa Aminta was like a warm hug. The staff is exceptional. Helpful, kind, and hard working. The culture that has been created here is phenomenal. The staff is so attentive to the guests, and to each other. It feels like a real team effort, almost like family. They truly care about the guests experience, and take great pride in their work. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again and again.

Very disappointing. After we checked in, we asked to book a table for dinner - the immediate answer was no they are full. The duty manager he said he would see what he could do. After a while he came back saying he managed squeeze us in. We ate at the restaurant and noted that half the tables remained vacant all evening. This experience probably set the tone for our 6 day stay. We found many staff seem to have an attitude problem and not accommodating to guests needs. Our room and en-suite was extremely small and cramped. The hotel was clean and beds comfortable. The shuttle service to Stresa, about a kilometer away, is not very frequent and the one time we did use it the driver drove like he was in a grand prix race. This is rated as a 5 star hotel. Would we go back again? No.
